Abstract

Antenatal Care (ANC) is a service provided to pregnant women on a regular basis to maintain the health of the mother and her fetus. This includes prenatal checks and efforts to correct deviations found, providing basic interventions as well as educating and motivating mothers so they can take care of their pregnancies and prepare for their deliveries. ANC services are health services carried out by health workers to mothers during their pregnancy according to established standard of antenatal care. This ANC service is obtained at least 4 times during pregnancy, namely 1 time in the first and second trimesters, 2 times in the third trimester. Ideally, pregnant women get ANC services 12 to 13 times, namely every month in the first and third trimesters. At 28 to 32 weeks of gestation 2 times and 4 visits at 36 weeks of gestation (Prawiroharjdo, 2010). The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge of pregnant women and the use of antenatal care (ANC) at the Panombeian Panei Health Center, Simalungun Regency in 2017. This type of research was analytic with a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study were pregnant women who came to visit the Panei Appearance Health Center. monthly average of 40 people. The sample in this study were all pregnant women (total sampling). The results of the study are based on the results of the Chi-Sguare statistical test. There is a relationship between Knowledge and Utilization of Internal Care Services (ANC) at the Panombeian Panei Health Center, Simalungun Regency, in 2017. The results obtained from the Chi-Sguare statistical test obtained a p value of 0.004 ≤ α (0.05 ).

This study aims to determine factors that cause stunting in toddlers based on a lack of caregivers well, health services are still limited including ANC services, lack of coverage nutritious food, lack of clean water and sanitation coverage, economic status, LBW. Abstract

Based on a preliminary survey conducted in the working area of UPT. DPPKB found that the use of Intrauterine Contraceptive Devices (IUD) was still small compared to other contraceptive methods. Meanwhile, IUD use has begun to be targeted every year. The purpose of this research is to find out what are the factors associated with IUD use. This type of research is quantitative research that is analytic in nature. This research was conducted in the working area of UPT. DPPKB Bandar District in August 2017. The population in this study amounted to 10,429 people with a sample of 189 people. The instrument used was a questionnaire using the Chi-sguare test and SPSS program assistance. Based on the results of the study it was found that the total number of family planning participants had low education, namely 123 people (65.1 % ). The majority of respondents with low education did not use the IUD as many as 118 people (95.9 % ) while only $ people (4.1%) used it. There is a relationship between education and IUD use (P=0.000<0.05 ). Family planning participants had low knowledge, namely 123 people (65.1 % ). The majority of respondents with low knowledge did not use the IUD as many as 121 people (98.4 % ) while only 2 people (1.6%) used it. There is a relationship between knowledge and use of the IUD (P=0.000<0.05 ) . Family planning participants who did not receive support from their husbands were 175 people (92.6 % ). The majority of respondents who did not receive support from their husbands did not use the IUD as many as 164 people ( 93.7 %) while only 1 person (6.3%) used it. There is a relationship between husband's support and IUD use (P=0.000<0.05 ).

Abstract

Clean and healthy living behavior in Indonesia is currently still low, this is related to various health problems or the spread of environmental-based diseases which are epidemiologically high in Indonesia. This research was conducted to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes with clean and healthy living behavior of typical Batak restaurant owners in Tigaraja Market, Tigaraja Village, Girsang Sipangan Bolon District, Simalungun Regency in 2022. This type of research is descriptive with a population of all typical Batak restaurant owners in Pasar Tiga. King with a sample of 30 total sampling technique. The results of this study obtained that the majority of respondents were aged 41 — 60 years, namely 18 people (60%) while the minority had ages > 60 years, namely 5 people (16%). The majority of the respondent's last education was high school, namely 11 people (36.7%) while the minority with the last education was elementary school, namely 5 people (16.7%) and tertiary education, namely 5 people (16.7%). The majority have good knowledge, namely as many as 15 people (50%) while the minority have less knowledge, namely as many as 5 people (16.7 % ). The majority had an attitude of agreeing as many as 16 people (53.3%) while the minority had an attitude that did not agree as many as 14 people (46.7%). The majority had good behavior as many as 17 people (56.7 % ) while the minority had bad behavior as many as 13 people (43.3%). The results of the chi-sguare test variable knowledge p value 0.009, attitude variable p value 0.031, it can be concluded that knowledge and attitudes have a relationship with clean and healthy living behavior of typical Batak restaurant owners in the Tiga Raja market, Tiga Raja Village, Girsang Sipangan Bolon District, Simalungun Regency 2022.

Abstract

Hypertension is currently a risk factor for morbidity and mortality for Jansia. Or Riskesdas 2013 states that the prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia ranges from 25.8 % , with more disease incidence occurring in women (28.8%) and in the elderly. In North Sumatra, the prevalence of hypertension is also high, which is around 24.7 % based on the 2013 Riskesdas data. Data from the Sarimatondang Health Center states that the prevalence of hypertension in the elderly is around 21 people (8.8 % ). The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the relationship between food consumption and the incidence of hypertension in the elderly at the Sarimatondang Health Center in 2018. This type of research is an observational analytic with a cross-sectional study design. The population in this study were all elderly aged ≥ 60 years at the Sarimatondang Health Center, totaling 120 people, with a sample size of 55 respondents. This research was conducted at the Sarimatondang Health Center from 2018 to August. The results showed that the types of food to prevent hypertension that were often consumed by respondents were corn, fresh water fish, tempeh, tomatoes, bananas, green beans and the types of foods that triggered hypertension which were often consumed by respondents were pork, salted fish, and biscuits. The results also showed that the variables significantly related to the incidence of hypertension were fat (p=0.025), sodium (p0=039) and fiber (p=0.029), while carbohydrates (p=0.821) and protein (p=0.189). ) was not significantly associated with the incidence of hypertension. Advice that can be given to the community at the Sarimatondang Health Center in 2018, especially the elderly, is to reduce consumption of foods that are high in sodium or salt, high in fat, and also increase consumption of vegetables and fruit at affordable prices every day.

Abstract

Knowledge is the result of human sensing, or the result of knowing someone about an object through their senses (eyes, nose, ears, etc.). By itself, at the time of sensing to produce knowledge is strongly influenced by the intensity of attention and perception of the object. Adolescence is a period of rapid growth and development both physically, psychologically and intellectually. It is typical for adolescents to have a great sense of curiosity, like adventure and challenges and tend to be willing to take risks for their actions without being preceded by a mature balance. This uses a quantitative descriptive design. Nursalam (2008), descriptive research aims to describe (describe) important events that are happening today. The number of samples used was the GKPS Pematang Raya students totaling 40 people. The results of the study showed that the majority of respondents aged 14-15 years were 28 people (70? ), while the respondents aged 16 were 14 people (306). the gender of the male and female respondents was the same, namely 20 men (50Y4) and 20 women (50%). However, in general, women who experience anxiety more often have a good level of knowledge about sexually transmitted diseases, namely 26 respondents (65%). The level of knowledge of adolescents about sexually transmitted diseases is less than 14 respondents (35%). It is recommended that students add more insight into their knowledge of sexually transmitted diseases, so that teenagers are even more aware of sexually transmitted diseases and hold counseling about sexually transmitted diseases in adolescents so that their knowledge increases.

Abstract

Hypertension is also one of the health problems found in the Indonesian population. There are many risk factors that can cause hypertension, including smoking, genetics, obesity, stress, salt intake, and exercise. There is a problem of smoking habits (number of cigarettes smoked, type of cigarette smoked (smoked, duration of smoking) with the incidence of smoking in men aged ≥ 40 years at the Rambung Health Center, Tebing Tinggi City. A descriptive analytic research design with a cross sectional study design with a sample of 81 men aged ≥40 years. The research found that there was a relationship between smoking habits and the incidence of smoking at the Rambung Community Health Center, Tebing Tinggi City. Using the chiaware test, it was stated that there was a relationship between smoking habits and the incidence of hypertension in PNA ≥40 years at the Rambung Health Center, Tebing Tinggi City. For respondents, it is expected that smoking users reduce the number of cigarettes smoked or can avoid hypertension or at least be able to control hypertension that they already suffer.

Abstract

The success of tuberculosis treatment depends on the patient's knowledge and support from the family. There is no self-effort or motivation from the family who does not provide support for complete treatment. It will affect patient adherence to taking the drug. A study was conducted to find out whether there is a relationship between family support and the patient's recovery process. Pulmonary Tuberculosis in the Working Area of the Rabuning Health Center, Rahuning District, Asahan Regency in 2019 This research was conducted in July-September 2019 with a population of 32 respondents. The sampling was carried out using total sampling. The results of this study found that from 15 respondents who received emotional support, all of them received healing compared to less supportive 6 respondents out of 8 respondents, who did not support 1 respondent and 9 respondents Out of 15 respondents who received information support all got healing compared to less supportive 6 respondents and 10 respondents, who did not support 1 respondent out of 9 respondents. Of the 10 respondents who received instrumental support, all of them got healing compared to less supportive, 11 of 14 respondents who did not support the respondent and 8 respondents. the patient did not experience recovery at all. This research is expected to provide benefits to families in assisting patients in obtaining recovery by providing emotional support, informational support, instrumental support and appreciation support regarding the importance of family support in helping to increase patient knowledge so that it can affect recovery.

Abstract

Stress is a disturbance to the body and mind caused by a discrepancy between the demands received and the ability to overcome them. One source of stress is the demand to carry out two roles simultaneously, for example in working housewives. While coping is a way that is done by individuals in solving problems, adjusting to change. Coping is divided into two, namely those that focus on problems and those that focus on emotions. This study aims to identify the role stress and coping used by working mothers using a descriptive design. The samples taken were 80 women working in the Tanah Jawa Village, Tanah Jawa District, Simalungun Regency using a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the stress of working mothers who lived in Tanah Jawa Village, Tanah Jawa District, Simalungun Regency was light, namely 93.8% because the majority of working hours of mothers in Tanah Jawa Village were relatively short, namely 5 hours a day, and experienced stress. role as household manager (Mean = 2.64 and SD = 2.076). And the coping used in this study is coping that focuses on problems (Mean = 21.19 and SD = 3.66) while coping that focuses on emotions (Mean = 14.23 and SD = 4.41). It can be concluded that mothers who work in the Tanah Jawa sub-district use more problem-focused coping. This is related to the mother's knowledge and personality. For further research it is recommended to conduct research on 2 other roles, namely as caregivers and workers.

Abstract

Child development is strongly influenced by the environment and interactions between children and their parents Data obtained in the Urung Purba Village in 2019 the number of children under five was 172 children spread across the Urung Purba Village. To find out the relationship between parenting styles and the development of toddlers in Unung Purbakabupaten Simalungun Village in 2019. The type of research used in this research is a quantitative study using a cross-sectional design with a population of all children under five in the working area of the Ranometo Health Center. The technique used in sampling is Smafied sampling so that a sample of 72 respondents is obtained Data analysis with the chi square test at a 95% level of confidence (a-0.05) It is hoped that there will be counseling to parents about the importance of providing proper parenting so that it supports the development of their children.
