Abstract

Macrosomia or baby giant is a large newborn at the time of delivery of more than 4000 grams. Babies who are large for gestational age typically have swollen and red bodies. The emergence of these babies is due to several factors, the first factor is due to obese parents (heredity), the second is that pregnant women suffer from diabetes mellitus, the third factor is mothers who are overweight during pregnancy and the last factor is mothers who experience late pregnancy. time over post date. Based on the results of the initial survey, from the number of mothers giving birth as many as 76 cases, in the period 2018-2020 there were 15 cases (19.73%) experiencing macrosomia babies. The design of this research is analytic, namely the characterization technique directly through the explanation by the author and the approach, observation or data collection at the same time. Based on the results of the chi-square test, the value of p = 0.000 (p <0.05), which means that statistically it shows a significant relationship between the factor of gestational age and the occurrence of macrosomia in infants. Factors of multigravida pregnancy associated with the incidence of macrosomia in infants.

From the research results obtained frequency distribution based on the knowledge of the majority of less knowledgeable 24 respondents (80%). Based on the age, the majority of respondents lack knowledge of 21 (69 ,72 %) with the age of 20-40 years. Based on education, the majority of respondents lack knowledge of 18 (60%) with high school education. Abstract

Malnutrition (kwashiorkor) is a form of malnutrition. Malnutrition itself can be understood as a nutritional error. It can be in the form of deficiency or excess of nutrients. This research is a case control study. The population in this study were 45 people. Data was collected through medical records and interviews using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed univariately, bivariately using Chi-Square test at 95% confidence level (P<0.05) and multivariate using multiple logistic regression test. The results showed that the results of the statistical test of the knowledge independent variable obtained a Sig value of 0.001 < p: 0.05, family income obtained a Sig value of 0.001 < p: 0.05, exclusive breastfeeding obtained a Sig value of 0.001 < p: 0.05, which means that there is a significant relationship between the independent and dependent variables. The most dominant variable that has the greatest influence on the incidence of malnutrition is knowledge which has the largest Exp (B) value of 112,687 with a regression coefficient (B) of 4.725. The Health Office of South Tapanuli Regency is expected to be able to increase outreach and counseling programs about the importance of nutritional status in infants aged 0-6 months.

This type of research is analytic observational with cross sectional design. The research sample was 21 elderly people. The data analysis used was univariate analysis, bivariate analysis and multivariate analysis with chi square test with p value < 0.05. There is a relationship between knowledge and attitude with elderly hand washing as an effort to prevent COVID-19 in 2020 with a p value < 0.05. It is hoped that all parties can cooperate in disseminating health protocols, especially hand washing and the provision of hand washing facilities as a form of COVID-19 prevention efforts.

Abstract

Factors that can affect the birth weight of a baby include internal environmental factors, external environmental factors, and factors related to the use of health facilities related to the frequency of pregnancy check-ups or antenatal care. This study aims to identify the effect of increasing body weight during pregnancy on the birth weight of the baby. The research design used in this research is descriptive correlation. The instrument in this study was secondary data obtained from data at the Khodijah Daulay Clinic, KMS for pregnant women, delivery records, and birth weight of the baby. The results showed that the average weight gain of the respondents during pregnancy was 10.74 Kg with a standard deviation of 1.358 and the lowest weight gain was 10 while the highest weight was 16 Kg. From the results of statistical tests with Product Moment Correlation, it was obtained that p value = 0.000 had a significant effect between increasing body weight during pregnancy and newborn weight. And also obtained a value ( r = 0.733 ) this means that the influence is quite strong with a positive direction, meaning that the more the mother's weight increases during pregnancy, the more the baby's weight increases.

This type of research is a quantitative analytic observational study. Positive people with a total sample of 51 people. The sampling technique is by observation, direct measurement of the physical condition of the house, interviews, and other supporting data such as recording situation reports. The results of bivariate analysis on clean water facilities have a relationship with the incidence of tuberculosis, p value = 0.017, ventilation with p value = 0.016, house floor with p value = 0.002, residential density p = 0.001. There is a significant relationship between the variables of the physical condition of the house with the incidence of Tuberculosis Chi-Square test below 0.5%. Suggestions for this research is the need for counseling about the requirements of a healthy home and clean and healthy living behavior in tuberculosis patients, especially Pintu Padang Health Center, the patient's family to conduct an early examination of Tuberculosis so that the incidence of Tuberculosis can be minimized.

Abstract

COVID-19 or Coronavirus Disease 2019 is an infectious disease caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). COVID-19 is thought to spread between people through respiratory droplets produced when coughing and splashes from someone who is sneezing and obtained from contaminated surfaces that then accidentally touch someone's face. One of the groups most vulnerable to being infected with COVID-19 is the elderly (elderly) aged 60 years and over. One way to prevent COVID-19 is to wash your hands. Hand washing is an inexpensive and easy routine, is important in infection control procedures, and is the best method of preventing the transmission of microorganisms. This study examines the differences in knowledge before and after counseling about hand washing during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research design is a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design study. This is a form of Pre-Experimental Design. The population and sample in this study were 30 elderly people. The results of the pre-test get an average value of 2.37 while the results of the post-test get an average value of 9.67. Based on the SPSS test that has been carried out (P = 0.000; = 0.05 ) Ha (alternative hypothesis) is accepted because the p-value is 0.005 so Ho is rejected with a price level of significance (α) = 5% so that the alternative hypothesis is accepted. Thus the conclusion of this study is that there is a difference in knowledge before and after counseling about hand washing during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Pematangsiantar Elderly Social Service.
