Abstract

Research has been carried out on the Hamilton C2 ventilator which aims to find out how the of inspiration and expiration are in accordance with what has been set on the ventilator by the operator or user. Installation of a ventilator is meant for patients who have excess or lack of oxygen within the lungs and who experience respiratory failure. Where the ventilator is a breathing apparatus that can help maintain ventilation and oxygen delivery for quite a long time.This research method is disbursed using qualitative and quantitative methods in order to collect data. Research on this ventilator was applied in several stages, namely setting and taking data that the ventilator on Volume Tidal (VT) must be in accordance with the Volume Tidal Expiratory (VTE) so there's no collapse within the patient and damage to the device itself. The results of this study are to determine the way of inspiration and expiration consistent with what has been set by observing the worth displayed on the Volume Tidal Expiratory (VTE) which is the same because the value that has been inputted within the Volume Tidal (VT. If the value displayed on the display or screen is <10% then there's a possibility of harm to the ventilator flow sensor or flow sensor within the patient, and the other way around if the value displayed on the display or screen is >10% then there's a possibility of injury to the flow sensors, both ventilator flow sensors and flow sensors within the patient.

Abstract

Medical devices are divices that are always in a ready to use condition and can function properly. This requires the Sari Mutiara University Integrated Laboratory to assist and medical equipment as effectively and efficiently as possible. This study aims to look at the syringe pump monitoring system in the USM-Indonesia Integrated Lab.Descriptive research method. Syringe pump tools and materials, questionnaire instruments used to conduct direct interviews with officers in the integrated laboratory, observation and documents.The results of this study indicate that all medical equipment including the syringe pump in the USM-Indonesia integrated Lab has never been maintained because there has not been a maintenance program for the medical equipment in the Lab. Integrated suggestions for syringe pump equipment and other health equipment to be maintained in the form of heating the appliance twice a week so that the tool is always in a condition that can function properly and has a longer service life, it is necessary to make SOP for operating the syringe pump tool and other tools.

Abstract

Design and construction of an Android-based automatic weight measurement tool has been carried out. This research was made because of the demands for sophisticated medical support equipment with all the capabilities it has that continues to develop so that effective and efficient medical support equipment can be produced. This tool is designed with the aim of providing information about the measurement data of weight and height to users. Measurement results data will be sent to Android in the form of messages to be stored using the android database system storage.This research method uses qualitative methods, namely: study literature and literature and conduct experiments on the circuit design made, then test the function of the tool with a scale to determine the accuracy of the work of this tool. This tool is made by utilizing the Load Cell sensor as conversion then will sent via GSM SIM 800L, and the data is displayed via the application and SMS on the patient's Android.The test results show that the weight obtained is the result of the load cell sensor measurement. seen the percentage error value for each measurement, which allows the sensor to read errors and possible interference from the compiler program. As long as the% error does not exceed 3%, the module design and build an automatic weight measuring instrument, can be used properly

Abstract

Medical devices are devices that are always in a ready-to-use condition. and can function properly. This requires the Integrated Laboratory of Sari Mutiara University to be able to manage and maintain medical equipment as effectively and efficiently as possible. If this maintenance function is running well, then the quality of the medical equipment used will be good. This research aims to determine the maintenance and care system for the Baby incubator device, know what the Baby incubator is, and to know the principles of work.This research is a descriptive analysis with qualitative methods. The instrument used is by conducting in-depth interviews, observation and documents. The results of this study indicate that in its implementation, the maintenance system cannot be run properly, due to limited technical personnel, lack of training, insufficient maintenance costs, maintenance SOPs are not in accordance with procedures. Planning, organizing, and monitoring are not well implemented so that the preventive and corrective maintenance systems cannot run properly.

Abstract

Flow sensors have an important role in ventilator anesthesia machines, where flow sensors function to monitor air flow and pressure to obtain the amount of air volume and pressure delivered to the patient. If the volume of air entering the patient does not match the capacity of the patient's lungs, it can endanger the patient. So that a flow sensor is needed in order to know the accuracy of the volume that will be given to the patient.

Abstract

Jaundice in newborns from January 2013 to December 2015, with a sample size of 223 babies. To treat jaundice in babies, Phototherapy is used. Phototherapy is the first action therapy for newborns with hyperbilirunemia. The provision of effective phototherapy is the main factor in the rapid management of hyperbilirubinemia.

Abstract

The infuse pump is a media device used to provide the patient's body fluids with a certain time and amount. In giving intravenous fluids can have a bad effect on patients. The infusion that is currently used is still manual where errors such as clogging or monitoring of fluids. Therefore, planning an infusion pump that can send notifications when the infusion fluid runs out.In designing this tool aims to design a nurse call on an infusion pump using a microcontroller and sent via Bluetooth to the nurse call. On the Bluetooth call nurse receiving and sending it to the microcontroller will send it to the LCD and the Buzzer sounds if it goes to the input.In this final design using the ATmega8535 microcontroller which will read the incoming data via Bluetooth. LCD and buzzer are used so nurses can see and hear when the infusion fluid runs out.

Abstract

Blood warmer is a tool that is used to warm blood in the process of blood transfusion. Inside the blood warmer there are several main parts that must be considered, the main part that must be considered is the heater part. With the main aim to maintain the temperature in the blood cantomate so that no clotting occurs. The design of this tool aims to obtain the design of blood builder using the LM35 sensor as a temperature indicator to be displayed on the LCD. This research starts from the stages of collecting various sources, gathering information designing tool products, designing and perfoming function tests. Device hard covening design circuit supply power, circuit minumum system ATMega8535 microcontroller, a temperature sensor circuit. circuit,heater driver circuit LCD. While design for device soft covering programming basic language complier. Abstract

Blood warmer is a tool that is used to warm blood in the process of blood transfusion. With the main purpose so that blood does not rise again fill the blood bag. The design of this tool aims to get the design of a security system for blood transfusion by using a photodiode detector as an indicator of blood flow that will be displayed in the form of sound. This research starts from the stages of collecting various sources, gathering information, designing tool products, designing and performing function tests. The hardware includes the design of the power supply circuit, the minimum system circuit of the ATMega8535 microcontroller, the liquid blood detector circuit, the buzzer circuit, and the servo motor circuit. While the design for software includes basic complier language programming.
