Abstract

Bureaucratic reform is significant for the achievement of development and excellent public services. At this time, the government issued a policy to abolish the honorary system and replace it with government employees under a work agreement (PPPK). The presence of PPPK as a civil servant (ASN) is to increase employee resources professionally and competently so that they can keep up with the times and apply various technology applications. PPPK is also entitled to a salary and several allowances as regulated in Article 4 Section 2 of Presidential Regulation Number 98 of 2020 concerning First Personnel Salaries and Allowances. Its states that the PPPK allowance consists of: a. family allowance; b. food allowance; c. structural position allowance; d. functional position allowance; or e. other allowances.

Abstract

Several kinds of research conducted by several institutions show the high value of intolerance in Indonesia, especially among students. Muhammadiyah, one of the largest, oldest organizations and the formulator of the establishment of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, has a strategic role in preventing radicalism and intolerance. This study aims to determine the internalization of moderate Islamic values at SMPS Muhammadiyah Plus Bengkalis. This research is qualitative. Data collection by Interview, Observation, and Documentation. The data analysis technique in this study will use the Interactive Model technique, which consists of Data Collection, Data Reduction, Data Presentation, and Conclusion Drawing. The results of this study indicate that the Internalization of Moderate Islamic Values at SMPS Muhammadiyah Plus Bengkalis consists of three stages: Value Transformation, Value Transactions, and Trans-Internalization of Values. In contrast, the internalized values are Tasamuh (tolerance), I'tidal (straight and firm), Tawazun (balance), Musawah (equality), and Shura (deliberation).

Abstract

The completeness of students' cognitive learning outcomes on news text material, especially in linguistic sub-rules, is very low because the learning model is not yet precise. This article aims to improve students' cognitive learning outcomes on news text material in the linguistic rules sub-material with the silent game learning model. The method used is Classroom Action Research with two cycles. Each cycle is carried out in one meeting. The results showed a significant increase in cognitive learning outcomes. Furthermore, there was an increase in the absorption of students from cycle I to cycle II of 18.66. Meanwhile, learning completeness increased by 75% and completeness of objectives and material subjects by 100%. It concludes that the silent game learning model can improve the students' cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

Research on communicative methods for acquiring and teaching a second language has been extensively explored. Still, the research is more dominant on the acquisition and teaching of English only. This study aims to describe learning Arabic by using communicative methods and the factors that influence the Arabic speaking ability of students in the superior class of Darussakinah Batu Bersurat Islamic Boarding School. The method used is the descriptive qualitative method. The results of this study indicate that the use of communicative methods in learning Arabic increases students’ speaking skills, and students actively speak Arabic in the learning process. Other factors that affect students’ speaking ability are the language environment, continuous daily vocabulary, and good mastery of Arabic Grammar (nahwu and shorof grammar). Mastery of Arabic grammar is beneficial for students in reconstructing memorized vocabularies into complete sentences, thus creating a sense of confidence in speaking.

Abstract

The lack of variety of learning methods and models makes sociology one of the subjects often considered boring. Because of this, students' interest in learning is minimal, and their learning achievement is also low. This study aims to look at implementing the mini-research method as an alternative method of learning sociology, especially on social issues. The method used is descriptive qualitative by analyzing various literature related to the topic and the author's implementation. The application of this method indicates an increase in students' interest in learning which can be seen from their enthusiasm for participating in learning. Furthermore, understanding of the material is also increasing, as evidenced by the evaluation results, which show good grades. Finally, this study concludes that the Mini Research method can be an alternative method of learning sociology, especially on social issues

Abstract

Leadership is an absolute thing that is one of the various central themes in the Islamic perspective to achieve success. However, leadership which is a wash to draw closer and worship Allah SWT, is starting to shift from its essence. Therefore, this study tries to bring back the leader's characteristics and concepts from the Qur'anic perspective. In addition, this would reinforce the leader's characteristics and concepts so that they can be used as a reference in shaping the personality of an ideal leader. The results of this study indicate that leadership in the Qur'an is explained through at least five concepts, namely Khalifah, Imam or Imamah, Ulul 'Amri, Wali, and Malik. In terms of characteristics, a leader should imitate the character of the Prophet Muhammad, namely Shidq, Amanah, Tabligh, and Fathanah, with which the organization he leads can achieve success and blessings according to the expected goals.

Abstract

The teacher plays a central role in every learning process. Apart from being a teacher, teachers are also required to be able to be innovators, facilitators, and motivators. The ability of teachers to present learning so that it becomes exciting and fun will determine students' success. Therefore, the Beginner Teacher Induction Program is essential to implement as a means to improve teacher competence. The implementation of the induction PIGP (Program Induksi Guru Pemula) aims to guide novice teachers to adapt to the work climate and culture of the school/madrasah. Thus, after the activity, it is hoped that every teacher can have good pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competence.
