Abstract

This research was motivated by the problem of the low learning outcomes of Economics subjects of class XI Social Sciences at SMA Ekasakti Padang, where 42.11% got learning outcomes under the Minimum Completeness Criteria, namely 78 with a range of 0-100. The purpose of the study was to reveal the influence of teacher communication skills and students' learning motivation towards the learning outcomes of the Economics subject of class XI Social Sciences at SMA Ekasakti Padang. The results of data analysis show: (1) Teacher communication skills have a significant and positive effect on student economic learning outcomes at SMA Ekasakti Padang as seen from sig 0.046 < 0.05 (2) Motivation to learn has a significant and positive effect on student economic learning outcomes at SMA Ekasakti Padang. seen from sig 0.039 < 0.05. (3) Teachers' communication skills and learning motivation together have a significant and positive effect on economic learning outcomes for Ekasakti Padang High School students, as seen from sig 0.008 < 0.05. So it can be concluded that the teacher's communication ability and learning motivation affect learning outcomes, the higher the teacher's communication skills in the teaching and learning process and the better the learning motivation, the higher the learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of this study. constructivism approach to the descriptive writing skills of fourth-grade students at SDN 48 Ganting, Padang city. The results showed that there was a positive and significant effect of the constructivism approach on the writing skills of the fourth-grade Indonesian students of SD Negeri 48 Ganting, Padang City. This is evidenced by the results of the t-test with a significant level of 5% (0.05) and t count (2.93049) > t table (1.67793). The results of the descriptive writing skill test of Indonesian students obtained by the experimental group were higher than the control group, as indicated by the mean 74.13 and the mean obtained by the control group of 68.00.

Abstract

In an effort to increase student activity and creativity in the learning process, you can use one of the references and learning resources through mutual cooperation activities or the development of learning materials that is applied is the quality of learning material development. SMAN 2 Sipora academic year 2016/2017. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that efforts to improve the quality of learning through teacher activities in developing materials could improve the quality of learning for class X 4 students of SMAN 2 Sipora in the 2016/2017 academic year as evidenced by an increase in the number of students who met the Minimum Completeness Criteria. Prior to efforts to improve the quality of learning through teacher activities in developing materials, the number of students who met the KKM was 30%. In the first cycle, students who meet the KKM as much as 44%, in the second cycle as much as 93%, The increase in the average value of the cognitive learning quality class through the pretest and post-test in the first cycle is 7%, the second cycle is 2%, the increase in psychomotor activity from cycle I to cycle II increased by 7%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the not yet optimal learning outcomes in the Economics subject of class XI Social Sciences SMA Ekasakti Padang, where some students get learning outcomes below the minimum completeness criteria, namely 78 with a range of 0 - 100. The purpose of this research is to reveal the contribution of interest in learning and the learning environment. on student learning outcomes in economic subjects at SMA Ekasakti Padang. This type of descriptive correlational research. The results showed: (1) Interest in learning contributed 21% to learning outcomes; (2) the learning environment contributes 47.6% to learning outcomes; and (3) the percentage contribution of interest variables (X1)and learning environment (X2)together to student learning outcomes (Y) is 50.3%. This shows that the better the interest and learning environment, the better student learning outcomes will be.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to reveal the effect of students' creativity and interest in learning on the economics learning achievement of students in class XI IPS SMA Ekasakti Padang. This type of research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The population of this study were all students of class XI IPS SMA Ekasakti Padang, consisting of two classes totaling 38 people. While the sampling technique of this research is total sampling. Student achievement data was obtained from the economics teacher at SMA Ekasakti Padang. While the data on creativity and interest in learning through a questionnaire using a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. The data were analyzed using statistical methods with the help of SPSS (Statistics Product And Service Solutions) Version 22.0 software. The results showed: (1) Creativity has an effect of 14% on learning achievement; (2) Interest in learning has an effect of 41.8% on learning achievement; (3) creativity and interest in learning together have an effect of 50.3% on learning achievement. So it can be concluded that creativity and interest in learning affect learning achievement, the higher students' creativity and interest in learning in the learning process, the better learning achievement and learning achievement will be higher.

Abstract

The research is based on the performance of the Staff Officer of the Officials Agency of West Sumatra Province. (2) The influence of work climate on the performance of civil servants of the province of western Sumatra (3) the influence of education and work climate on the performance of civil servants of the Provincial Personnel Board of West Sumatra. The type of this research is Field Research and descriptive. The population of this study is all employees of the Regional Personnel Board of West Sumatra Province as much as 87. Sampling technique with total sampling with a total sample of 30 people. Data collection techniques by spreading questionnaires and documentation, while data analysis used is descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis. From the results of the study found that the level of education has a significant effect and the work climate on the performance of Personnel Agency Personnel West Sumatra Province has a significant effect. With coefficient of determination equal to a = 0.05% found that tcount> ttable is 6,213> 2,000, Test Result gives interpretation that significance. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Education and Climate Level significantly influences the performance of civil service personnel of West Sumatra Province. Where the influence of employee variables while the work climate influence by other factors that affect employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine student learning outcomes with the help of learning video media in Social Studies subjects for Class VIII SMPN 6 Pariaman for the 2021/2022 academic year . and ASEAN. This type of research is development research known as Research And Development (R&D), using the ADDIE development model. The results showed that the learning video met the very valid criteria with the average acquisition result of 3.63%. The results of the practicality assessment of the teacher's response with an average of 88.12% in the very practical category and the results of the practicality assessment of the student's response with an average of 84.04% in the very practical category. While the effectiveness of the learning video obtained t-count results of 5,618 which is in very good qualification. The value of t count is greater than t table so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So there is a significant difference in student learning outcomes of Social Sciences between before and after using learning media. It was concluded that the learning videos on the materials of Interspatial Advantages and Limitations and Their Influence on Economic, Social, Cultural Activities in Indonesia and ASEAN that had been developed were declared valid, practical and effective for use in social studies learning.

Abstract

This study discusses the creativity of teacher teaching in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum. The study was conducted at SMP N 25 Padang. Creativity is assessed about how teachers develop methods, strategies and also media in learning PPKn subjects. The researcher found several things related to teacher creativity in the learning process. Such as what obstacles faced by the teacher and also what efforts have been made by the school in overcoming these efforts and ways to increase the creativity and quality of teaching teachers in the classroom.The data obtained in this study come from the results of observations, interviews and questionnaire collection. Interviews were conducted with PPKn teachers, principals, and students. The questionnaire collection was carried out by researchers to get more accurate data. The data obtained by researchers is. (1) there is still a lack of creativity in PPKn teachers in the learning process. Because the teacher still cannot develop methods and learning strategies. (2) the constraints faced by teachers originate from within the teacher himself, namely the lack of the ability of teachers to use technology as demanded by the 2013 curriculum. As well as external constraints faced, namely regarding the study hours that are so dense making teachers feel difficult to prepare teaching materials. (3) the number of efforts made by the school to improve creativity and quality and help teachers to be able to adjust the way of learning with the 2013 curriculum. One of them is by involving subject teachers in training and also technical guidance on the 2013 curriculum and related subjects. The school and also the teachers always conduct evaluations and improvements to improve the quality of lessons so that the 2013 curriculum learning objectives are achieved.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the development of entrepreneurial character for students at the Nurul Iman Foundation, Pondok Pesantren Dr. M. Natsir Alahan Panjang. Besides that, it is also to identify the obstacles faced by the coaches of Islamic boarding schools in fostering the entrepreneurial character of students. The research used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The selection of research informants used purposive sampling (purposive sampling). Data were collected through observation, document analysis, and interviews. While the data analysis techniques are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the development of entrepreneurial character at the Nurul Iman Foundation, Pondok Pesantren Dr. M. Natsir is fostered through two organizations at Islamic Boarding Schools, namely KIR (Scientific Activities for Youth) and Agro-Business. As for the efforts made by the two organizations, namely providing habits such as: holding entrepreneurship seminars, utilizing plants on agro-business land for basic necessities and food businesses in cooperatives, collaboration between two organizations, facilities and infrastructure are used properly. Besides, the subjects of Craft and Entrepreneurship have been applied as compulsory subjects for elementary to high school. Entrepreneurship development is still not optimal because it has obstacles faced by the two organizations as follows: business capital, student participation and incomplete facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the conflict management between Tanjung Pauh Mudik and Kumun and conflict management that can be applied in other regions in Indonesia if there is a similar thing identified from the factors that cause conflict, the impact of conflict and efforts to resolve and manage it . The study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The selection of research informants used purposive sampling (purposive sampling). Data is collected through observation, document analysis, and interviews. While the data analysis techniques are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that conflict management was carried out, namely making a letter of peace agreement through dialogue with both parties, enacting customary rules that prohibit teenagers from wandering in the village to the neighboring village boundary past 11pm, paying compensation for those who suffered losses, socializing from each village government to the younger generation and parents, activating various activities involving youth in each village, and holding joint iftar between the youth of both parties. This management effort is carried out based on the factors that cause conflict (hatred, impatience, distrust, intolerance, inability to understand each other, inability to forgive one another, and youth mischief) and the effects of conflict (economic, physical, socio-cultural losses) , and psychic).
