Abstract

This research is to study the result of  dose and  application time of P fertilizer on bean (Phaseolus vulgaris, L.) has been done in  May to August 2018 in  Ngleses village, Candimulyo district, Magelang regency. Altitude of 434 m above sea level, with latosol soil type and 6 of soil pH. The research was conducted as factorial experiment (4x2) arranged in a randomized complete block design, repeated three times. The 1st factor is Dose of P fertilizer : 58 kg/ha, 83kg/ha ,108kg/ha  and 133kg/ha. The 2nd  factor is  application times of  P fertilizer : 14 days and 21 days. Data should be analyzed with variance , orthogonal polynomial test  for dose of P fertilizer and LSD test for application time of P fertilizer. Increasing of dose of P fertilizer will increased  number of pods per plant (R2= 0.7193), weight of fresh pods per plant (R2= 0.702)   and weight of fresh pods per m2 (R2= 0.8135).Application time of P fertilizer only gave highest yield on weight of fresh pods per m2. All parameters have the same respond for different dose of P fertilizer at different application tipe of P fertilizer.

Abstract

The research about the yield of cauliflower (Brassica olerace var. botrytis, L.) on plant spacing and organic mulching. The research was conducted from April to July 2018 at Banyuwangi Village,  Bandongan District, Magelang Regency with altitude 400 m asl, soil type regosol with a pH 5,8 – 6,0. The purpose of the research to determine the plant spacing and suitable organic mulching on yield of cauliflower. The research type (3 x2) factorial experiment arranged in randomized completed, block design repeated four times. The first factor was plant spacing: 50 cm x 40 cm (J1), 50 cm x 50 cm (J2) and 50 cm x 60 cm (J3). The second factor was organic mulching: straw mulch (M1) and bamboo leaf litter mulch (M2). The result of the research showed that increase in the population of cauliflower plants increase the height of plants and the fresh weight of flowers per square meter but decreases the number of leaves, diameter cauliflower and fresh weight of cauliflower per plant. Provision of bamboo leaf litter mulch increases plant height and fresh weight of cauliflower per plant while straw mulch increases the specific weight of cauliflower. Increased population of cauliflower plants with straw mulch decreasing the specific weight of cauliflower but an increasing in population of cauliflower plants with mulch leaves and bamboo leaves litter mulch increasing the specific weight of cauliflowers.

Abstract

A research on the effect of cuttings material and concentration of shallot  filtrate (Allium cepa fa. ascalonicum, L.) is to determine the growth of rose apple seedlings (Syzygium aqueum, Burm.) Citra variety. The Research was conducted from August until October 2018 in Mranti Pereng Village, Mranti Village, Purworejo District, Purworejo Regency. The altitude is 100 meters.  Soil type latosol and soil pH 5.5. The research method used factorial experiment (3 x 4) arranged in a randomize complete block design with three blocks. The first factor is kinds of cuttings material, top cuttings, middle branch cuttings, and base branch cuttings. The second factor is concentration of shallot filtrate, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. The results showed that the middle branch cuttings gives the highest yield in root length and root dry weight. The concentration of shallot filtrate gives regular results on observational parameters. The middle branch cuttings with concentration of shallot filtrate 76.49% gave the highest weigth yield on fresh shoots weight. The middle branch cuttings with concentration of shallot filtrate 87.30% giving the highest weigth yield on shoots dry weight. The middle branch cuttings with concentration of shallot filtrate 66.03% gives the highest weigth yield on roots dry weight

Abstract

A research to study Dose of Liquid Organic Fertilizer and Plant Spacing on Radish (Raphanus sativus, L.) conducted on May until July 2018, in Ngablak Village, Ngablak District, Magelang. The altitude  is 1300 m, with Andosol soil, and pH of 6,8. The research method was factorial experiment (4 x 3) arranged in  complete randomized block design (RCBD) with three block. The first factor was organic liquid fertilizer dose, 5, 10, 15, and 20 l/ha. The second factor was plant spacing, 45 cm x 20 cm, 45 cm x 30 cm, and 45 cm x 40 cm. The result showed increasing dose of liquid organic fertilizer gave the regular result on number of leaves, length of tuber, fresh weight of tuber, volume of tuber, fresh weight of stover, fresh weight of tuber m2, and harvest index. Plant spacing 45 cm x 40 cm resulted in highest yield on number of leaves, length of tuber, fresh weight of tuber, volume of tuber, fresh weight of stover, fresh weight of tuber m2, and harvest index. Liquid organic fertilizer dose of 9,76 l/ha and plant spacing 45 cm x 40 cm gave the fresh weight of stover 5,83 ton/ha.

Abstract

A research to study potato yield (Solanum tuberosum, L.) var. Granola L. (G1) at various concentrations of Trichoderma sp. and planting media, has been done in April to July 2018 in Bandongan Wetan, Ngablak Village, Ngablak District, Magelang Regency. The altitude is 1300 meters. The research method used factorial experiments (4 x 3) arranged in a  randomize complete block design, repeated 3 times. The first factor is concentration of Trichodermsa sp. which consists of : 0 ml/l, 5 ml/l, 10 ml/l, and 15 ml/l. The second factor is type of planting media which consists of : soil + cow manure (2 : 1), soil + goat manure (2 : 1), and soil + chicken manure (2 : 1). The results showed that increasing the concentration of Trichoderma sp. till 15 ml/l don’t give an effect an all parameters. Soil + goat manure (2 : 1) increases yield per m2 and soil + chicken manure (2 : 1) increases harvest index. Different concentration of Trichoderma sp. on different planting media gave the regular result on all observed parameters.

Abstract

A research on the application of kinds of manure and foliar fertilizer on eggplant yield (Solanum melongena, L.) Antaboga variety. The research conducted in March until July 2018. Location of research in Kliwonan, Sukomulyo, Kajoran Magelang. The latitude is 660 m. The soils is latosol with pH 6,6. The research method use factorial experiment (3x3) arranged in a randomized complete block design with repeated three times. The first factor is kinds of manure, cow manure, chicken manure, and goat manure. The second factor is kinds of foliar fertilizer, Gandasil B, Topsil B, and Neo Kristalon. The results of the research show that chicken manure increases the plant height, number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per plant, and fresh weight of stover per plant. Neo Kristalon increases plant height. Different manure on different foliar fertilizer give regular  respond on  all observed parameters.

Abstract

A study about the effect of NAA concentrations and sucrose concentrations on in vitro rooting to sugarcane explant growth (Saccharum officinarum, L.) Bululawang varities was conducted on 2 April until 23 July 2018 at Balai Benih Tanaman Perkebunan Kota Salatiga. Research methods that were used is factorial arrangement (4×4) with a completely randomized block design and five replications as block. First factor, four concentration levels of NAA (0; 2,5; 5; and 7,5 mg/l) and second factor, four concentration levels of sucrose (0; 25; 50; and 75 g/l). The result showed NAA concentration level increased number of roots per explant, but decreased fresh weight of leaves per explant and dry weight of leaves per explant. However, 4,7 mg/l NAA concentration level give highest fresh weight of roots per explant and 5,2 mg/l NAA concentration level give highest dry weight of roots per explant. Sucrose concentration level increased dry weight of leaves per explant, fresh weight of roots per explant and dry weight of roots per explant. However, 59 g/l sucrose concentration level give highest number of roots per explant, 46 g/l sucrose concentration level give highest number of shoots per explant, 46 g/l sucrose concentration level give highest number of leaves per explant and 61 g/l sucrose concentration level give highest fresh weight of leaves per explant. NAA concentration level and 50 g/l sucrose concentration level increased number of roots per explant, but NAA concentration level and 75 g/l sucrose concentration level decreased dry weight of leaves per explant. 4,1 mg/l NAA concentration level and 75 g/l sucrose concentration level give highest fresh weight of roots and 4,9 mg/l NAA concentration level and 75 g/l sucrose concentration level give highest dry weight of roots per explant.
