Abstract

The research about the effort of increasing the ried of plant tomato (Solanum lycopersicum, L.) which varieties Kaliurang with kind of mulch and cow manure dose was carried out on March 13rd until July 23rd, 2016. The location of this research was carried at Dlimas Village, Tegalrejo District, Magelang Regency. The altitude of location is 478 meters above sea level and the soil type is latosol with pH of 6,8. The experiment was conducted by using a factorial (3x3) that was arranged in a complete randomized block design, repeated three times. The first factor is manure dose 15, 20 and 25 ton/ha. The second factor is the mulching material from non mulch, black plastic and silver mulch. The result of the research shows that the optimum dose of cow manure 19,61 ton/ha increases height of plant, optumum dose 20,33 ton/ha increases fruit weight, optimum dose 22 ton/ha increases number of fruits per plant and optimum dose of 15 ton/ha increases weight per fruit. The use of mulch can increases the weight of fruit, number of fruits per plant and fresh weight of straw. The combination of silver plastic mulch and cow manure dose 15 ton/ha gives the highest yield at weight per fruit.

Abstract

A study on the effects of plant support and mulch on the yield plant of cucumber (Cucumis sativus, L.) var. oris was conducted in March - June 2015. The research was in Kembangkuning Village, District Windusari, Magelang. The altitude is 640 m, the soil type is latosol and soil pH is 6.5. The research is factorial (2 x 4) experiment arranged in a complete randomized block design with three replications. The first factor is kind plant support: bamboo and plastic net. The second factor is kinds of mulch, rice straw, black plastic, silveric black plastic and transparent plastic mulch. Plant support from bamboo may increase crop growt that cause higher the weight per fruit and fruit volume. Black plastic mulch and silveric black plastic mulch may increase plant height, leaf number, weight of the fruit, weight per fruit and fruit volume. The highest fruit volume is obtained from the growth of cucumber supported by plastic net on black plastic mulch and silveric black plastic mulch.

Abstract

Research on productivity caisim (Brassica juncea, L.) due to cultivation soil and frequency of planting, conducted from May to August 2015 in the village of Lebak District Grabag, Magelang. Altitude of 500 meters with Latosol soil type and soil pH 6. The research was conducted in a factorial experiment ( 3 x 3 )arranged in a complete randomized block design with three replications. The first factor is tillage frequency: once, twice and three times. The second factor is the frequency of replanting: the first,second, and third planting. The result showes that tillage do not influence crop yields. Frequencies of replanting increase the number of leaves and fresh weight of consumption per plot. Tillage frequency on planting frequency responded similarly to the parameters.

Abstract

Research on the application of PGPR and growing media composition to plant growth cauliflower Brassica oleracea var. botrytis, L. conducted in December 2015 - February 2016 in the village of Mujahedeen - Giyanti Temanggung-. Altitude of 500 m above sea level with an average temperature of 28oC, humidity 73%, soil pH 5. latosol soil type and soil pH 5. The research was conducted using a 4 x 3 factorial experiment arranged in a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with 3 replications as blocks. The first factor PGPR (Plant Growth Promoting Rizhobakteria) bamboo root with a level 0 ml / l of water, 10 ml / l of water, 20 ml / l of water and 30 ml / l of water. The second factor is the composition of the soil media: sheep manure with a ratio of 1: 1, 2: 1 and 3: 1

Abstract

The research to study the effect of N fertilizer and chicken manure dose on the yield of cabbage (Brassica oleracea, L.) varieties Grand 11. Had been carried out from 10th June until 11th September 2018. The location is at Tejosari Village, Ngablak District, Magelang Regency on the altitude 1480 m above sea level high, type of the soil latosol with 6,8 of pH. The method of experiment is factorial (3x4) in randomized completely block design with three blocks. The treatment is the dose of N fertilizer consists of 50, 100, 150 kg / ha and the dose of chicken manure which consists of 5, 10, 15, 20 tons / ha. The results of the research shows that aplication of N fertilizer at a dose of 150 kg / ha given the highest yield in diameter of crop, height of crop, fresh weight of crop per plant, fresh weight of crop per m2, fresh weight of straw per plant and fresh weight of straw per m2. Aplication of chicken manure at a dose of 14.3 tons / ha given a diameter of crop 15.3 cm, a dose of 13.8 tons / ha given a height of crop 13.3 cm, a dose of 14.6 tons / ha given a fresh weight of crop per plant 1, 55 kg, a dose of 15.9 tons / ha given a fresh weight of crop per m213.6 kg, a dose of 17.3 tons / ha given a fresh weight of straw per plant 0.83 kg, and a dose of 14.6 tons / ha given a fresh weight of straw per m2 7.8 kg. N fertilizer and chicken manure given the same results on all parameters.

Abstract

The research about the effect of giving organic mulchand NPK (15:15:15) fertilizing time on Baby Buncis (Phaseolus vulgaris, L.) France varieties was carried out on January 26rd until March 28rd, 2017. The location of this research was carried at Windusari Village, Windusari District, Magelang Regency. The altitude of location is 450 meters above sea level and the soil type is latosol with pH of 6,8. The experiment was conducted by using a factorial (3x3) that was arranged in a complete randomized block design, repeated three times. The first factor is mulch kind:no mulch, straw and bamboo leaf. The second factor isNPK (15:15:15) fertilizing time: 5 and 10 ; 10 and 15 ; 15 and 20 days after planting. The result of the research shows that straw mulch givesa lot of number of pods per plant, havier fresth weight of pods per plant and longer height of pod per plant. NPK (15:15:15) fertilizing time which at 15 and 20 days after planting gives longer length of pod per plant. Baby Buncis plant shows the same response on mulch kinds at different NPK (15:15:15) fertilizing time.

Abstract

The research is to study the effect of kind of media and the effect of kind of urine to the strawberry yield (Fragaria ananassa). The experiment was done in 10 October 2016 until 29 Desember 2016. Location of experiment is in Sumber, Dukun, Magelang. The altitude is 660 m. The soils is regosol with pH 6,3. The research method used factorial experiment (3x3) arranged in a randomized complete block design with three replications. The first factor is kind of media goat manure, compost, rice husk. The second factor is kind of goat urine, rabbit urine and cow urine. The result of the research show that the use of kind of goat manure media shortened flowering age, icreases number of flower, weight of fruit, fresh weight of stover and leaf width. Compost manure increases weight of fruit and leaf width. Rabbit urine increases number of flower, number of fruit and weight of fruit. The combination of compost media and goat urine accelerate flowering age.

Abstract

A research on the effect of cuttings material and concentration of shallot  filtrate (Allium cepa fa. ascalonicum, L.) is to determine the growth of rose apple seedlings (Syzygium aqueum, Burm.) Citra variety. The Research was conducted from August until October 2018 in Mranti Pereng Village, Mranti Village, Purworejo District, Purworejo Regency. The altitude is 100 meters.  Soil type latosol and soil pH 5.5. The research method used factorial experiment (3 x 4) arranged in a randomize complete block design with three blocks. The first factor is kinds of cuttings material, top cuttings, middle branch cuttings, and base branch cuttings. The second factor is concentration of shallot filtrate, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. The results showed that the middle branch cuttings gives the highest yield in root length and root dry weight. The concentration of shallot filtrate gives regular results on observational parameters. The middle branch cuttings with concentration of shallot filtrate 76.49% gave the highest weigth yield on fresh shoots weight. The middle branch cuttings with concentration of shallot filtrate 87.30% giving the highest weigth yield on shoots dry weight. The middle branch cuttings with concentration of shallot filtrate 66.03% gives the highest weigth yield on roots dry weight

Abstract

The research on the effect of mulch kinds and the effect of chiken manure doses to the lettuce yield (Lactuca sativa, L.) var New Grand Rapid. Experiment conducted in August until October 2016. Location of experiment in Dukuhan, Sumber, Dukuh, Magelang. The latitude is 663 m. The soils regosol with pH 6,3. The research method used factorial experiment (3x4) arranged in a randomized complete block design with three blocks. The first factor is mulch kind, transparant plastic mulch, black silver plastic mulch, black plastic mulch. The second factor is chicken manure dose, 5 ton/ha, 10 ton/ha, 15 ton/ha, and 20 ton/ha.The result of the research shows that the use of black plastic mulch and black silver plastic mulch increase the height of plant, number of leaves, weight of fresh leaves and weight of dry leaves. Increasing chicken manure dose can increase height of plant, number of leaves, weight of fresh leaves, weight of dry leaves, weight of fresh root, and weight of dry root. The combination of mulch kind and chicken manure dose responded the same in all observation parameter.

Abstract

Research on the Influence of Number of Plants Per Hole and Planting Distance to Peanut Plant Results (Arachis hypogea, L.) Var. Kancil, conducted in October 2016 until January 2017. Research conducted in Harjosari Village, Madyocondro Village, Secang District, Magelang District, with a height of 450 m asl, latosol soil type and soil pH 6.5. This research was conducted in the field using factorial design (3X3) arranged in Completely Randomized Block Design (RAKL). This study consisted of two treatment factors and repeated three times. The first factor is the number of plants per planting hole consisting of three levels, namely: 1 plant per hole, 2 plants per hole, and 3 plants per hole. The second factor spacing consisting of three levels, namely: 40 cm x 10 cm, 40 cm x 15 cm, and 40 cm x 20 cm.The results showed that the number of plants per planting hole gave the highest yield on the number of pods per plant, the weight of fresh pods per plant, the weight of dry pods per plant, the weight of fresh pods per m2, and the weight of the dry content pods per m2. Plant distance improve on plant height, fresh weight of filled pods per plant, fresh weight of filles pods per m2 , and weight of dry fill pod per m2. The one plant per hole and spacing of 40 cm x 20 cm gave the highest yield on fresh pod weight per plant, the three plants per hole and spacing of 40 cm x 10 cm gave the highest yield on fresh weight filles pods per m2 , and weight of dry fill pod per m2.
