Abstract

This research was focused to determine the effect of the farmer groups toward coffee farmer’s welfare and it have been conducted on July-August 2020 in Rahayu IV’s Farmer Group, Semarang Regency. This research was aimed to (1) analyze farmer groups role, consists of learning media, a vehicle for cooperation, production units, and business units in Rahayu IV’s Farmer Group, (2) analyze the welfare of Rahayu IV's Farmer Group members, and (3) analyze the influences of farmer groups role toward the farmer’s welfare in Semarang Regency. The location of this research was determined purposively because it was an active farmer group, doing coffee farming from upstream to downstream, and get a lot of achievements. Survey method was used in this research. The number of respondents was 32 respondents who were all members of Rahayu IV's Farmer Group. Primary data and secondary data were used in this research. The data analysis application used the SPSS 23.0 program. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis. The result showed that the farmer groups role, consist of learning media, cooperation, production units, and business units had been in line with expectations of farmer group members, most members were already economically and socially prosperous, and partially and simultaneously, there was an influence of farmer groups role towards farmer’s welfare. The coefficient of determination was 83.9%.Keywords: black coffee; farmer groups; the role of farmer groups; welfare

Abstract

This research studised the role of organic material and plant distance on onion (Allium cepa fa. ascalonicum, L.) in the land of sand Merapi eruption. Research has been conducted on August 2016 to November 2016 in the village Sawangan, District Sawangan, Magelang, Central Java Province. Altitude of 485 m above sea level, the soil type Regosol with a pH of 5.5. This study used factorial experiment (3 x 3) were arranged in a complete randomized block design (RCBD) with three block. The first factor was the organic material that was cocopeat, husk charcoal and peat. The second factor was a plant distance of 15 cm x 20 cm, 20 cm x 20 cm and 25 cm x 20 cm. The results of the studies organic material response on all parameters. Plant distance 25 cm x 20 high give the most result in the number of leaves, number of tubers per hill, tuber fresh weight per hill, tuber dry weight savings per clump and crop growth rate. The combination of organic material and plant distance of the same response on all parameters.

Abstract

This research is to study the result of  dose and  application time of P fertilizer on bean (Phaseolus vulgaris, L.) has been done in  May to August 2018 in  Ngleses village, Candimulyo district, Magelang regency. Altitude of 434 m above sea level, with latosol soil type and 6 of soil pH. The research was conducted as factorial experiment (4x2) arranged in a randomized complete block design, repeated three times. The 1st factor is Dose of P fertilizer : 58 kg/ha, 83kg/ha ,108kg/ha  and 133kg/ha. The 2nd  factor is  application times of  P fertilizer : 14 days and 21 days. Data should be analyzed with variance , orthogonal polynomial test  for dose of P fertilizer and LSD test for application time of P fertilizer. Increasing of dose of P fertilizer will increased  number of pods per plant (R2= 0.7193), weight of fresh pods per plant (R2= 0.702)   and weight of fresh pods per m2 (R2= 0.8135).Application time of P fertilizer only gave highest yield on weight of fresh pods per m2. All parameters have the same respond for different dose of P fertilizer at different application tipe of P fertilizer.

Abstract

Plantation is one of the agricultural sub sectors and one of these commodities is Cocoa. Cocoa is one of the export commodities from the plantation sub sector which is a national commodity.One area that develops and cultivates cocoa production is Nglanggeran, Patuk Subdistrict, Gunungkidul Regency. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence the production of cocoa beans in Nglanggeran Kecamatan Patuk Kabupaten Gunungkidul. The research method used a descriptive method of analysis by sampling the simple random sampling method. Type of data collected was primary data which was obtained by survey method using questionnaires. Data were analyzed with the Cobb Douglas functions. The results showed that factors which positively influenced on the increase of cocoa production were land area, use of pesticide and number of plants production. Meanwhile the amount of labor and the use of fertilizer had no significant effect on cocoa production

Abstract

Tungro disebabkan oleh dua jenis virus yaitu virus batang (rice tungro bacilliform virus=RTBV) dan virus bulat (rice tungro spherical virus=RTSV). Kedua jenis virus tersebut hanya dapat ditularkan oleh wereng hijau secara semipersisten. RTBV merupakan virus dependen, sedangkan RTSV sebagai virus pembantu (helper virus). Wereng hijau dapat menularkan RTSV dan RTBV secara bersamaan dari sumber inokulum yang mengandung kedua virus. Penularan RTBV hanya terjadi apabila vektor telah menghisap RTSV terlebih dahulu, sedangkan penularan RTSV dapat terjadi tanpa bantuan RTBV

Abstract

The research about the effort of increasing the ried of plant tomato (Solanum lycopersicum, L.) which varieties Kaliurang with kind of mulch and cow manure dose was carried out on March 13rd until July 23rd, 2016. The location of this research was carried at Dlimas Village, Tegalrejo District, Magelang Regency. The altitude of location is 478 meters above sea level and the soil type is latosol with pH of 6,8. The experiment was conducted by using a factorial (3x3) that was arranged in a complete randomized block design, repeated three times. The first factor is manure dose 15, 20 and 25 ton/ha. The second factor is the mulching material from non mulch, black plastic and silver mulch. The result of the research shows that the optimum dose of cow manure 19,61 ton/ha increases height of plant, optumum dose 20,33 ton/ha increases fruit weight, optimum dose 22 ton/ha increases number of fruits per plant and optimum dose of 15 ton/ha increases weight per fruit. The use of mulch can increases the weight of fruit, number of fruits per plant and fresh weight of straw. The combination of silver plastic mulch and cow manure dose 15 ton/ha gives the highest yield at weight per fruit.

Abstract

This research studied he effect of organic fertilizer and dolomite in the land of sand o the growth and yield of soybean (Glycinemax, L. Merrill). this research was conducted on may 2012 and completed in Ketawang village, Grabag district, Purworejo regency with altitude of 6 meters above sea level, on the type of soil acidity regosol. This research used a factorial exsperiment with a complete rendomized block design (RCBD) consists of 2 factor treatment and repeated in three times. The factor that was dosis dolomite (D) which consists of three levels, namely 0,1,2 tons/ha. The second factor shisako with organic fertilizer levels is 0,2.5,5 tons/ha. The results showed that increasing the dose of dolomite did not increase plant height, number of pods per plant, pod dry weight, weiht of crop seeds, rood dry weight, dry weight of stover, in creasing fertilizer shisako has no effect on all the parameters of observation. There is no interection between dolomite and fertilizer dose shisako on all parametes.
