Abstract

This study aims to compare student learning outcomes in mathematics with the use of Osborn and computer-based interactive mathematics learning model in class X TKJ SMKN 1 Sinjai. This type of research is an experimental research with a quantitative approach with a pretest postest control group design research design. The population in this study were students of class X TKJ SMK Negeri 1 Sinjai. While the sample used is simple random sampling. Based on the descriptive analysis of student learning outcomes in class X TKJ 1 after the application of the Osborn learning model as a control class, the average pre-test of the Osborn learning model was 76.80 and the post-test was 79.25 which was greater than the KKM (65). Based on the inferential analysis, the results of this study indicate that the Sig. (2-tailed) in the paired sample t-test of 0.000 where the value is less than 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that there are differences in learning outcomes between Osborn and the computer-based interactive learning model for the tenth graders of TKJ SMK Negeri 1 Sinjai.

Abstract

Analysis of the Children’s Mathematical Modeling Ability in Boti Traditional Village, Kupang. Academic Year 2020/2021. Skripsi. Mathematics Education Study Program. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. University of Muhammadiyah Kupang. This study aims to determine the mathematical modeling ability of children in the traditional village of Boti, which is very necessary in solving contextual problems completely because they do not understand the problem and do not able to convert the problem into a mathematical model. This research isqualitative research with a descriptive approach. The subjects of this study were 7 children in Boti traditional village. There were 3 interview test respondents who were selected based on the high, medium, and low ability categories. Data collection techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusion. The validity of the data tested using a triangulation of data technique. Based on the results of 3 essay test items, it showed that the mathematical modeling ability has 3 categories, namely: 1 high-ability child, 4 moderately capable children, and 2 low-ability children.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to develop valid mathematics learning media, practical, and effective categories with mind mapping learning method. This learning media was developed to improve students understanding concept in mathematics at SMP N 16 Kupang City. This study was Reaserch and Development (R&D). Products here were lesson plan (LP) and students’ worksheet (SW). The design of this study was ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implement,andEvaluate). The instrument here was validation sheet, students’ responsive questionary, and concept understanding test sheet. The result in term of valid category, this learning media was valid and the validation score for the first learning media was 3.42 and the second learning media 3,58. In term of practical category, this learning media was practical, so it can be used, and the average score of students’ responsive questionary was 84. In term of effectiveness, this learning media was very effective with score of 80%. Therefore, the development of learning media with mind mapping method to improve students concept understanding in mathematics for students at SMPN 16 Kupang city in this study was valid, practical, and effective, so it can be implemented in the learning process.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to develop multimedia interactive with savi model(Somatis, Auditory, Visual Dan Intelektuall ). Learning material here was geometry of flat side for students of junior high school. This study was research and development in ( R & N ) and teh development design using was 4D ( Devine, Design, Development, and Dessemination ). The research of this study was conducted on March until May in junior high school Muhammadiyah Kupangv with the test subject. The data were collected using validation sheets, questionary and study test. Data were analyzed quantitively, that consisted of validation practical, and effectiveness analysis. The result showed that development of mathematics learning media with 4D model that has modivied to 3D model in this research was valid based on validation sheets from expert media and expert material and the score was 87,5%. The practikal result from students responsive questionary got practical category and the average score was 73,7%. The effectiveness of this mathematical learning media got score of 75% and effective category. Therefore, it can be consluded that the developing learning media in this study was valid, practical, and effective, so it can be implemented in mathematics learning to improve students learning out comes.

Abstract

This study aims to develop mathematical learning media with the Discovery Learning model on valid, practical and effective junior high school students' learning outcomes. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study. The product developed ar learning media in the form of lesson plans and worksheets using the Discovery Learning model on students' mathematics learning outcomes. The R&D research design used in this study is ADDIE which consists of 5 stages, namely: Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, and Evaluate. The data collection instruments are Validation Sheet, Student Response Questionnaire and Concept Understanding Test Sheet. The data analysis techniques for the development of each learning media were in valid, practical and effective criteria. The study showed that, in terms of validity, the average of validation learning media was 3.65 with valid criteria. In terms of practicality, based on practicality trials, it was found that the results of the students’ response questionnaire to the learning media reached an average of 88.75% and was considered practical so that it was feasible to use. As for the results of the completeness level of the effectiveness analysis reached 80% with very effective criteria. Based on the above, it can be concluded that the development of learning media with discovery learning learning models on mathematics learning outcomes for junior High school of Muhammadiyah Kupang students was valid, practical and effective and can be used in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the properties that apply to the ranks of the weak convergent and explain the relationship between the strong convergent sequence and the weak convergent sequence. From several reference sources then through the review process obtained weak nature of singularity limit sequence and relationship between the strong convergent sequence and the weak convergent sequence that if the sequence is strong convergent therefore the sequence it weak convergent.

Abstract

Paper ini memaparkan hasil analisis terhadap pemanfaatan teknik cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) terhadap kecemasan matematis siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan teknik deskriptif analitik yaitu dengan mengumpulkan data kemudian dari data tersebut disusun, dianalisis kemudian ditarik kesimpulan. Dari beberapa data yang telah dianalisis, diperoleh bahwa teknik cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) bermanfaat positif dalam mengurangi tingkat kecemasan matematis siswa. Akar dari kecemasan pada siswa bermula dari adanya rasa takut akan suatu hal, dalam konteks penelitian ini yaitu matematika. Terdapat berbagai teknik yang digunakan oleh guru untuk memanfaatkan terapi kognitif-tingkah laku dengan jumlah sesi yang berbeda-beda. Dalam penggunaan teknik cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) orang tua dan guru matematika berperan penting dalam keberhasilan untuk menurunkan kecemasan matematis siswa. Selain itu, CBT juga memberikan dorongan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran atau konseling yang dapat digunakan dalam dunia Pendidikan.

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika dengan model PISA. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa di SMP Negeri 21 Palembang dengan subjek siswa kelas VIII sebanyak 10 orang siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Teknik pengambilan data pada penelitian kali ini adalah dengan tes tertulis, dan wawancara. Tes yang dilakukan yaitu dengan pemberian soal-soal matematika model PISA, sedangkan wawancara yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pedoman wawancara tidak terstruktur. Teknik analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dari pengujian 5 soal tertulis, ternyata dapat dismpulkan bahwa rata-rata kesalahan siswa terbanyak yaitu pada soal nomor 2 sesuai dengan tipe-tipe kesalahan menurut Newman yaitu (1) kesalahan membaca sebanyak 8, (2) Kesalahan memahami sebanyak 10, (3) kesalahan mentransformasi 10, (4) kesalahan ketrampilan proses sebanyak 10, (5) kesalahan penulisan jawaban sebanyak 9. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the effectiveness of online learning during the pandemic. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. The subjects of this study were 5 grade IX students of SMP Negeri 24 Tangerang. The data collection technique used a questionnaire questionnaire containing questions about student responses to online learning in mathematics. Data analysis in this study used descriptive statistical analysis. The results of the study are shown from the results of the calculation of the percentage of student responses to online learning in mathematics subjects is 60% with the qualification criteria "less effective". This happens because students are not motivated to participate in online learning, and when implementing online learning in mathematics there are still many problems faced by students including not all students have cellphones to carry out online learning, limited internet quota, unstable internet network, and students find it difficult to understand the material in mathematics. So, from the various problems faced by students during online learning, this is what makes the implementation of online learning less effective. Keywords: Online Learning, Pandemic Period, and Math. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran daring selama masa pandemic. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 5 siswa kelas IX SMP Negri 24 Tangerang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kusioner angket yang berisikan pertanyaan respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran daring pada mata pelajaran matematika. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil Penelitian ditunjukkan dari hasil perhitungan persentase respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran daring pada mata pelajaran matematika adalah 60% dengan kriteria kualifikasi“kurang efektif”. Hal ini terjadi karena siswa tidak termotivasi mengikuti pembelajaran daring, dan pada saat pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring pada mata pelajaran matematika masih banyak permasalahan yang dihadapi siswa diantaranya tidak semua siswa mempunyai handphone untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran daring, kuota internet yang terbatas, jaringan internet yang kurang stabil, dan siswa sulit untuk memahami materi pada mata pelajaran matematika. Maka, dari berbagai permasalahan yang dihadapi siswa selama pembelajaran daring, hal inilah yang menjadi pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring menjadi kurang efektif. Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Daring, Masa Pandemic, Mata Pelajaran Matematika.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the potential of ethnomatematics in Simalungun and the potential for integration of ethnomatematics in learning. This research is a survey research. The study was conducted in Simalungun with the selection of objects carried out by purposive sampling. The collection methods used in this study are observation, documentation, and literature study. After the data is collected then it is analyzed qualitatively. The study results were also conducted to find out the potential integration of ethnomatematics in learning to improve students' mathematical communication skills. The results of research that have been carried out, the musical instruments Sarune Bolon, Hasapi, and Taganning are closely related to the concept of mathematical flat figure. Ethnomatematics has the potential to improve students' mathematical communication skills, if integrated with appropriate learning materials and models.
