Abstract

Sweet potato is a well-known food crop in Indonesia and has become an alternative substitution for rice. This research was conducted to obtain information on the effect of chicken manure doses and seed types on tuber damage by boleng pests in sweet potato plants. The research was conducted in Dayu village, Gondangrejo, Karanganyar from April to July 2022. The research was arranged using a factorial Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD), consisting of two treatment factors, such as the type of seedlings (B1 seedlings in the shoot section 25 cm, B2 seedlings in the stem section 25 cm) and the dose of chicken manure (K0: 0, K1: 11.25, K2: 21.25, K3: 31.25, K4: 41.25 gr per plant) each treatment combination was repeated three times. Parameters observed were intensity of pest attack, the total of healthy tubers per plant, the total of boleng tubers per plant, fresh weight of tubers per plant and fresh weight of boleng tubers per plant. The results indicated that the treatment of seedling types, doses of chicken manure and their interactions did not have a significant effect on all parameters observed, the highest amount of healthy tubers per plant was 8.3 in treatment B1K2 (the use of shoot seedlings and doses of chicken manure 21.25 grams per plant) and the highest fresh weight of tubers per plant was 810 grams in treatment B1K1 (the use of shoot seedlings and doses of chicken manure 11.25 grams per plant).

Abstract

Technology development in education has become a demand for students and teachers to be able to master it. The selection of appropriate learning media assists teachers in conveying the teaching and learning process in accordance with its objectives. One of those learning media used in this research is Swishmax-Based Learning Media. This media also caused the student more attractive and be motivated in following learning process. Therefore, the objective of this research is to find out the development of learning media based on swishmax software in order to facilitate students in understanding mathematics learning materials. This research used mix method by combining qualitative and quantitative data analysis obtained through questionnaires and student learning outcomes tests. The research results indicate that swishmax learning media is valid, practical and feasible to use in the learning process. The application of this learning media product development is effectively used by obtaining an increase in pre-test and post-test learning outcomes with a good N-Gain score.

Abstract

Coronavirus 2019 (Covid-19) is a disease that causes hyper-systemic inflammation affecting the respiratory system and extrapulmonary system. Covid-19 causes non-specific clinical health disorders in immunocompromised patients who often do not react to treatment. One case of a 58-year-old Indonesian man with a positive GeneXpert test result for Covid-19 but did not react to routine Covid-19 first-line therapy. The patient's anti-HIV test was confirmed positive, with an absolute CD4 of 13.7 cells/L, lactate dehydrogenase of 385 U/L, and procalcitonin of 0.24 ng/mL. The patient was treated with antibiotics, remdesivir, dexamethasone, heparin, anti-HIV treatment, and other supporting medications. The PCR test was negative ten days later, the laboratory and radiology results had also stabilized. In this case, the possibility of co-detection of Covid-19 with immune system diseases such as HIV is emphasized, and the importance of further testing for suspected patients to provide accurate treatment. It is quite difficult to determine HIV risk factors, and the limited treatment options for Covid-19 and it may not be effective. This case highlighted the possibility of misdiagnosis, especially during an infectious disease pandemic, and the importance of extended testing, even if the immunological state is disregarded in immune-compromised patients.

Abstract

Technological developments facilitate state and regional authorities in providing public services through web and smartphone applications called e-Goverment. This application is also applied by the Communication and Informatics Service Pasuruan, that is the application of e-Sambat for its community. This research aims to provide an understanding of the quality of e-Sambat services based on the e-GovQual dimension approach, to find out the gap between e-Sambat service quality and the community's expectations in using the app properly, and to determine which items will be prioritized for immediate improvement in the e-Sambat app. This research method used a quantitative method with a descriptive approach that used questionnaires and books as research instruments. The method used to analyze the feasibility of applications using GAP and the Important Performance Analysis (IPA) method is used to analyze items that are prioritized for improvement. There were 445 respondents in this research. Based on the research results, the service quality of the e-Sambat app is highly feasible with a feasibility percentage value of 100%; the GAP of application performance and community expectations for the ease of use variable is 0.08; the trust variable is -0.04; the functionality of the interaction environment variable is 0.02; the reliability variable is -0.03; the content and appearance of information variable is 0.01; and the citizen support variable is 0.00. The overall average gap is 0.01, which means that the public is satisfied with the e-Sambat application service. There are six items that are prioritized for improvement, such as TR 1 (security of e-Sambat users' personal data), TR 6 (access control of e-Sambat users), RLB 1 (speed in downloading the e-Sambat form), CAI 7 (use of colors in the e-Sambat application), CAI 8 (graphics in the e-Sambat application), and CS 5 (user questions are responded quickly).
