Abstract

Abstrak. Human beings as social beings will not be separated from the association with people around him. This is a very important need for humans. In the association there is a process of socialization, in everyday life the process of socialization of a person is not always good but there is the opposite. What is revealed in this study is how much influence of the type of parental leadership on the socialization process of the students of SMP Negeri 1 Namorambe. The research sample studied was 40 students of grade VIII Smp Negeri 1 Namorambe. The method used is descriptive method. To obtain the data, researchers used a closed questionnaire. The data obtained in the processing is adjusted to the criteria of items number 1 to 22, namely: 1.00 – 1.66 belongs to the category of authoritarian leadership type, 1.67 – 2.33 is laizer faire leadership type, 2.34 – 3.00 including democratic type. For items 23 to 45 use kriteri 1.00 – 1.75 less once, 1.76 – 2.50 less, 2.51 – 3.25 good, and 3.26 – 4.00 including an excellent socialization process. The hypotheses that are enforced are there is a significant influence between the type of parental leadership in the family to the socialization process of the child (student). From the calculations, the type of leadership of the parents of the students is mostly Laizer Faire. While the correlation between the two variables is positive where rcalculates the > rtable is r(h) 0.99 > r(t) 0.312. Therefore, the accepted hypothesis is that there is an influence of the type of parental leadership in the family on the socialization process of students. To see the amount of influence exerted from the calculation results obtained 98 %. Thus, there is a positive and meaningful influence between parental leadership on the socialization process in students of SMP Negeri 1 Namorambe

Abstract

Abstract. This study deals with the student’s difficulties in using participle in sentences. The purposes of the study were to find out whether or not the students found difficulties in using participle in sentence and to find out the type of difficulties they faced.The population of the study was the 2020/2021 of the Mechanic Otomotif (MO) students at SMK YAPIM Kabanjahe. In this sampling, all the population has equal chance to be selected for the sample. The total numbers of samples was 30 students. The instrument used to collect the data was multiple choice test. This research was conducted by applying the descriptive quantitative design. The reliability of the test is counted by using KR21 formula. The formula testing result showed that the reliability of the test was 0,89, it means that the test was very good. The finding showed that the students found some difficulties in using participle, they were : Present Participle (8,67 %), Past Participle (9,34 %) and Perfect Participle (9,33 %). Perfect Participle was regarded as the most difficult type for them, especially in using it after certain verbs and in replacing relative pronoun, and then followed Past Participle by especially in using in it replacing relative pronoun and after certain verb. And the last was Present Participle. The percentage of each difficulty was taken by dividing the wrong answer to the total correct answer of the test.

Abstract

Abstract. Skilled in pragmatic language, means skilled in using language forms ( words, phrases and clauses appropriately according to the conditions, situations and social contexts behind it. Such pragmatic skills may be established if the situation, conditions and social context behind the use of the language can be adequately mastered. This study aims to describe the percentage of contributions to the mastery of sociolinguistic concepts with pragmatic skills. In line with the purpose of the study, sociolinguistic mastery data with pragmatic skills of 28 sample people netted with test instruments and analyzed with statistics r¬2.From the results of the analysis conducted, obtained a determination index of 0.78 which means; mastery of sociolinguistic concepts contributes 78% to the achievement of students' pragmatic skills. In accordance with the results of the above analysis, it can be concluded that mastery of sociolinguistic concepts is a variable of criteria that contributes very meaningfully to the improvement of pragmatic skills. Thus, the research hypothesis yaang said that the mastery of the concept of sociolinguistics contributes meaningfully to the development of pragmatic skills of students of SMP Negeri 1 Nias Selatan, the truth is proven

Abstract

The problem in this study is: whether there is a contribution to the level of understanding of the concept of calculated operations against the operation of the association in students of SMP Negeri 1 Balikpapan. This study aims to find out if there is a contribution to the level of understanding of the concept of calculated operations against the operation of the association in students of SMP Negeri 1 Balikpapan. The population of this study is all students of grade VII-A SMP Negeri 1 Balikpapan consisting of 34 students. And as a sample in this study is the whole student. The data analysis technique used is to use non-premetric statistics "sign test". The results of the data analysis showed that tcount < htable or 1 < 1, this means that there is a positive contribution between the mastery of the counting operations against the operation of the student association of SMP Negeri 1 balikpapan. From these results, it is expected that the teachers of mathematics lessons generally and the teachers who teach in grade VII in order to further improve the learning of hitung operations to students so that the learning of the association operations ismore understandable to students

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) produce Pop Up Book learning media on Cultural Diversity materials in North Sumatra grade IV elementary students, (2) know the feasibility of Pop Up Book learning media on Cultural Diversity materials in North Sumatra grade IV elementary students from the validation of eligibility by material experts and media experts. This research is a type of research and development with reference to the 4D model developed by Thiagarajan (1974). Furthermore, the model is adapted into 3 stages, namely: (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Development (Develop). The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques are descriptive qualitative. The media developed is validated by one material expert and one media expert. Validation by media experts is carried out 2 stages and produces a product in the form of Pop Up Book media that is eligible for grade IV elementary students. . Thus the learning media developed is considered worthy of use in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the feasibility of the LKPD (Student Worksheet) based on a scientific approach and the utilization (Student Worksheet) of the scientific-based LKPD. This research was conducted in the fifth grade of SD Negeri 200303 Bargottopong in learning science about natural events. One way that can be used to activate students and provide direct experience to students is by using LKPD (Student Worksheet). This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative research methodology. With the aim of knowing the feasibility and use of LKPD (Learning Worksheets) based on a scientific approach as teaching materials. Based on the results of the study seen from: (1) the suitability of the material with basic competencies showed 100% results, the suitability of the material with the goal shows 100% results, and the suitability of the material with the indicators shows the results of 87.5%. And for the feasibility of the language shows the results of 60% (2) The use of scientific-based LKPD (Student Worksheet) has a very positive effect, so it is feasible to be used in the implementation of learning in class V. In this context the teaching and learning process can generate desire, attraction, improve understanding, and learning outcomes, so that the learning process becomes more effective and efficient.

Abstract

This research aims to determine (1) the types of nouns in English and Arabic languages and (2) to find out how does noun in English and Arabic languages applied in descriptive text. This research is descriptive qualitative and was conducted in Mei 2021 at SMA Islam Ulun Nuha Medan. In this study the sample was taken based on three levels of students in class, the lowest, the average and the highest. Each of the level taken three students. Data were collected through analyzing the students’ descriptive text task in English and Arabic languages. Then the data which collected is presented in the form of a description. Based on the finding, it is known that noun in English and Arabic have some types. Types of noun in both languages have differences and similarities in the meaning, specification, gender, number, form and the form of other part of speech. Abstract

Mhd Faisal Raya Hasibuan, 171434266, ''Development of Animated Video Media for Social Studies Learning Globalization Materials'' This study aims to determine the feasibility of animated video media in social studies learning material for Globalization. This research was conducted at the Library of UMN Al Washliyah Medan. The method use dis the development of research methods 4-D, which consist soft 4 stages which define (definition) , design (planning), development (development) and disseminate (spread). Animated videos were validated by two experts, namely material experts and media experts. Furthermore, product trials were carried out to material experts and media experts. Abstract

Abstract:. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effective and efficient LKPD as teaching materials to help the teaching and learning process achieve its goals. LKPD can be combined with learning models so that they can be effective and efficient teaching materials and can improve student learning outcomes. One of the learning models that can be used is problem based learning. LKPD-based is one model of LKPD which is centered on increasing the effectiveness of learning. The development of LKPD based on problem based learning for students as a companion for student learning activities is expected to be able to improve the quality of learning, so that student learning outcomes can increase. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach research method. including case studies, biographies, ethnography, and library searches. The subject of the trial was a librarian, who was in the library of the Muslim Nusantara University, Al Washliyah Medan. The object of this research is LKPD in science subjects. The research time is planned for July 2021. The research procedures that must be carried out to produce LKPD teaching materials consist of types of research that are included in research with a qualitative approach including case studies, biographies, ethnography, and library searches. In this study, the type of research that the researcher did was included in the literature research or library (library search). The instrument in this study, the researcher acts as a planner, data collector who then interprets the data that has been collected. In conducting the research, the researcher collects as much data as possible so that the research results are accurate. systematically search and compile data obtained from interviews, field notes, and documentation by organizing data into categories, breaking down into units, synthesizing, compiling into patterns, choosing what is important and what will be studied and making conclusions so that it is easily understood by themselves and others. Abstract

 This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Whatsapp as an online learning media in the fourth grade of SD 101871 Sidodadi. The number of samples is 28 students in the fourth grade of SD 101871 Sidodadi. The data analysis technique that the author uses in this study is a qualitative method. The data collection used is by using interview sheets, questionnaires, stationery / recording equipment. The results of the research discussion state that the effectiveness of whatsapp as an online learning medium during the pandemic helps teachers in the learning process. The application that is presented is very friendly, practical and not much choice of rules what to do when operating it. Obstacles that occur while using whatsapp media during online learning, when students do not have an internet connection or internet package., Students do not have sufficient funds to buy internet packages so that teaching and learning activities stop and children do not get teaching that day, Signals in one village The problem was interrupted so that students could not receive messages from the teacher for these activities, finally we the teacher had to pick up the student's house, the student only had a communication device or 1 cellphone and it was used for more than one person at the house, so our experience when seeing In this condition, the child always takes turns with his brother or sister or brother in using the cellphone.
