Abstract

Wounds are classified as acute and chronic. The early stage of chronic wound formation are characterized by the emergence of gram-positive and gram-negative organisms. such as Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. At a later stage, Gram-negative Pseudomonas species tend to attack the inner layers of the wound. Modern wound dressings containing antimicrobials that have been developed since the last twenty years. It is effectively to kill bacteria and fungi in the wounds and to prevent recurrent infections during wound healings. The purpose of this paper  is to report the results of a review that focuses on the effect of modern wound dressing on Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. Relevant articles were searched in PubMed and google’s scholar using keywords "modern wound dressing", "antibacterial", "staphylococcus". Ten articles that fit with the inclusion criteria were included in this review. The results show Modern wound dressing with antimicrobial content can inhibit bacterial growth. Interm of time and type of bactreria.  Thus, this literatures review can be the basis for further researchs on the effectiveness of modern wound dressings against Staphylococcus aureus.

Abstract

Caregivers in post-stroke patients reported physical and emotional symptoms of exhaustion. These symptoms lead to burnout syndrome which may result in decrease in productivity of caregivers in fulfilling the needs of post-stroke patients who were treated. The aim of this study was to identify the relationship between caregiver’s burnout syndrome and fulfillness of care needs in post-stroke patients. Design of this study was quantitative analitic correlation with cross sectional. The participants were 20 post-stroke patients and their caregiver that came to  Physiotherapy Unit at dr. Soepraoen Hospital during the study period. The data were taken using 3 questionnaires, modified MBI (Maslach Burnout Inventory), care needs of post-stroke patients questionnaires and Barthel Index. The results from Spearman Rank test with 0.05 significance indicated a relationship between caregiver’s burnout syndrome and  fulfillness of care needs in post-stroke elderly, the more severe burnout syndrome experienced by the caregivers, the more care needs of post-stroke patients are not fulfilled. Researchers provide suggestions for the next research to use more respondent and different methods to get different results.

Abstract

There are many cardiac arrest events in the community that can not be saved because they do not get the right and quick action due to the ignorance and the inability of the nurses of the puskesmas to provide emergency response to cardiac pulmonary resuscitation. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is the main action in cardiac arrest and stop breath, which can increase life expectation. Goal to be achieved in the implementation of this program is increased ability of nurse puskesmas in performing action of heart resuscitation of lung. The specific targets of the activities are the increased ability of health center nurses on the ability to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation with the latest guidelines and the implementation of a structured training program on pulmonary cardiac resuscitation at community health center nurses on an ongoing basis. Solutions offered to overcome the problem is the training of Lung Heart Resuscitation (RJP) to nurses Puskesmas. Training activities conducted for one day include pre-test evaluation, material exposure, rjp skills training and post training evacuation. The result showed that there was significant difference between attitude value and perceived behavioral control between before and after training, whereas there was no difference of subjective norm value between before and after training. Training on updating and increasing the competence of cardiopulmonary resuscitation should be done regularly and periodically. Routine and periodic training needs to be done to improve nursing services, especially cardiovascular emergency

Abstract

Natural disasters are an event or series of events caused by natural phenomena such as earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanoes, floods, droughts, hurricanes and landslides, resulting in human casualties, environmental damage, property losses objects, and psychological effects. Therefore, the need for nurse preparedness is especially special on the psychological aspect aside from the physical aspect. Nurse personnel is the first milestone that will be sought by the people affected by disaster, because nurses as the front line in a health service has a responsibility and a big role in handling the patient's daily emergency and disaster strikes. To know nurse preparedness in psychological aspect in facing natural disaster. The writing of this journal uses a literature study approach from several sources selected based on the criteria set by the author. The research journal was obtained from several databases, namely PubMed and BioMedCentral (BMC) Psychiatry. In total, the literature review consists of 10 journals, 4 studies report effective outcomes including knowledge, skills, self-awareness, interest, intellectual, cooperation, and motivation need to be prepared to support disaster management, 5 research reports that nurses need to prepare themselves on the psychological aspect in the form of cognitive, intellectual, interest, attitude, clinical skills education and rescue comprehension with basic principles of psychosocial support. Last 1 study reported the result that the need for training for administrators on hospital management in disaster preparedness. The psychological aspect is very important that must be prepared by the nurse in facing natural disaster, thus preventing the occurrence of psychological impact (in the form of psychological disorders such as depression, anxiety and other mental disorders) either self-nurse or victim to be handled by natural disaster happen.

Abstract

Sexual violence in children case happens most in age 6-12 years. Impact of sexual violence in children is post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and revictimizations in adulthood. Role of parents in prevention sexual violence is very important because parents is the people closest to the child. The Purpose of this study is to get an overview of parents roles to prevention sexual violence in children at SDN 061 Cijerah Bandung Kulon Bandung. This study used quantitative descriptive method with samples 141 of parents at SDN 061 Cijerah from populations 530 students and used accidental sampling method.  The instrument used is a quistionnaire by researcher combined prevention sexual violence based on government program PANTS with role of parents based on BKKBN. Reability of this study has a alfa cronbach of 0,918. Data analysis used with calculate cut of point from each role of parents and categorize to good roles or less good roles. The results of this study showed that of  141 parents in general that is 93,6% had good roles. The role of parents as educators 88,7% parents had good role as educators. For incentive 90,8% had good role as incentive. For role models, 91,5% parents be a good role models.  As supervisor 85,1% parents be a good supervisors. For counselor 91,5% parents had good role as counselors. For comunicator 72,3% had good role as comunicators.

Abstract

Social support is an interpersonal relation which one individual provides support to another individual. The aim of this study was to examine the correlation of family support and behavior of 4 - 6 years old in doing dental and oral care. The research method used correlation research with quantitative approach. The participants of this reseach were 62 families who have children aged 4 to 6. The data analysis used Spearman Rank (Rho) correlation test that is carried out to discover the correlation between family support and behavior of 4 - 6 years old in doing dental and oral care. The result  showed that P= 0,027. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between family support and the behavior of children aged 4-6 years in performing dental and oral health care.

Abstract

The cost of health services at the felt by middle-down economic community still expensive makes them very difficult to achieve the welfare of health. The Government issued a policy Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN) held through the mechanism of social health insurance that is compulsory (mandatory). Research methods used in this research is descriptive-qualitative design in depth-interviews. This research was conducted in Primary Clinic of Malang Dinoyo  and Griya Melati Diagnostic Malang with 10 participants who have become participants Purposive Sampling techniques through JKN. Data analysis techniques using data analysis techniques Colaizzi. The results of the interviews conducted on participants is diidentifikasinya 6 themes, namely 1) problems in the service of JKN; 2) Excess JKN within health services; 3) Service to use JKN got equal treatment; 4) Program JKN only bear the costs of the treatment in part only; 5) expectations to JKN; 6) Transition Askes became member of the BPJS. The experience of the participants against BPJS majority is very helpful in the Ministry of health. There are some participants who are not satisfied will the performance of the Basic program and hope the BPJS would be even better in providing health services. Based on these studies are recommended for the Government to be proactive in supervising and evaluating the course of program BPJS.

Abstract

After the childbirth process, a mother is in the period after childbirth in which all of the genetalia have not been recovered as they were before the pregnancy. It requires much high nutrious foods with enough calory protein, fluid and fruits as well. But several factors in which one of them is from cultural aspect has influenced the changing of their attitude to abstain from eating. Obviously, this phenomenon can influence their health and recovery period after the childbirth indirectly. The object of this study is to find out the attitude of those mothers after the childbirth who abstain from eating in Ngebrak village, Subdistrict of Ringinrejo, Kediri Regency. The reseach design includes the cross sectional. The population is all mothers after childbirth who abstain from eating in Ngebrak village, Subdistrict of Ringinrejo, Kediri Regency. It is done toward the total sampling. The data is processed by analyzing the percentage. As the result, it is found out most respondents have three reasons to abstain of eating. There are 12 respondents (60%) and almost half of them have three kinds of prohibited meals. There are 7 respondents (35%) from the total of 20 respondents. The conclusion is most of those mothers after childbirth who abstain from eating is they do that because of beauty reason, cultural heredetary, elder people’s advice as well as their own belief and knowledge about abstaining as far as they know. Most avoided meals are animal protein. What would be better to do on this matter is by giving them information continously about commiting abstain from eating since it is still found nowdays. And most of them have more than a single reason to do that. Keywords: attitude, mother after childbirth, abstain from eating.
