Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed nearly every aspect of human life, from the individual (how people live, work, and keep their health) to the professional (how healthcare professionals work). Unfortunately, more than three-quarters also approved that the pandemic created significant new opportunities for human growth, although this varies significantly worldwide. Of course, seeing the opportunities developing is not always the same as being able to seize them at times. Fewer than 50 percent of healthcare professionals feel confident that they are prepared to overcome the issues in the COVID-19 era. Most of the human aspect needs health innovation to prevent the long-term outcomes of the pandemic. As expected, they are focusing on maintaining the healthcare system and its continuity, especially in hospital and community settings. Therefore, developing innovation in health, driving productivity and implementing safety measures is needed during the never-ending pandemic. Leaders in the healthcare sector should provide essential strategies supporting innovation-led growth. Keywords: Innovation; pandemic; clinical outcomes; COVID-19; healthcare professionals

Abstract

Innovation in nursing is essential to develop and increase the quality of care in hospital and community settings. At this present, innovation should be used to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate as mentioned in the nursing process. In addition, it may be used for producing valid information, protecting nurses, preventing disease, and offering patient care. For this reason, clinical nurses must engage in innovative technology in daily practice to improve the outcome and reduce the cost of care. A rise in both interest in and demand for novel approaches to healthcare delivery can be attributed to the COVID-19 epidemic. To maintain their relevance and be competitive in the market, organizations have difficulty striking a balance between the aims of day-to-day operations and innovation. Innovation is essential not just to the prosperity and continued existence of businesses but also to the health and happiness of the faculty, staff, and customers that those businesses serve—the review aimed to evaluate the future and progress of innovation in healthcare. Abstract

High-performance liquid chromatography has replaced several spectroscopic methods and gas chromatography in the quantitative and qualitative analysis of medications in the pre-sale procedure testing done in the past ten years. This testing is done as part of the marketing of drugs and their control. During the early stages of its application, high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was expected to be a procedure that would supplement gas chromatography; nevertheless, as of today, HPLC has almost entirely supplanted gas chromatography in the pharmaceutical analysis field. Compared to other methods, utilizing a liquid mobile phase that allows for the transformation of mobilized polarity during chromatography and any other mobile phase modifications that are performed according to the properties of the substance being examined is a significant benefit in the separation process. Furthermore, this instrument has clinical benefits in hospitals. Keywords: HPLC; innovation in health; pharmacy science; laboratory analysis; healthcare technology

Abstract

Hypertension is blood pressure that exceeds normal limits where systolic blood pressure> 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure > 90 mmHg. To overcome this, it is necessary to make non-pharmacological therapy, namely the application of slow deep breathing exercises. This study aims to apply the application of slow deep breathing exercise to decrease blood pressure in patients with hypertension with ineffective brain tissue perfusion. The method used in this research is a case study with a sampling technique that is purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate that the application of slow deep breathing exercises can reduce blood pressure in patients with hypertension with ineffective brain tissue perfusion. Slow deep breathing exercises can lower blood pressure by activating the autonomic nerves so that vasodilation occurs in blood vessels. Abstract

Hemodialysis is cleaning blood through an artificial kidney or dialyzer assisted by a machine. Kidney failure patients undergoing therapy experience anxiety due to various stressors. One way to overcome fear is to use relaxation therapy, including Benson relaxation. Benson relaxation is a breathing relaxation technique with the addition of an element of belief in the form of words that express the anxiety that the patient is experiencing. This literature aims to determine the effectiveness of Benson's relaxation on reducing stress in chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis. A literature review comparing some literature through the journal databases used is Pubmed, Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, Garuda Portal, and Jane Semantic. Abstract

Hemorrhoids are diseases affecting the rectum and anus caused by damage to the hemorrhoidal plexus or blood vessels around the rectum and anus. If hemorrhoids are large lumps, then one of the steps is hemorrhoid surgery. One of the effects of post-hemorrhoidectomy is pain felt in post-hemorrhoidectomy patients. This study aims to apply the application of sitz bath hydrotherapy to decrease pain intensity in post-hemorrhoidectomy patients. The method used for this application is a case study. The length of pain felt was measured using the VAS and NRS pain scales. The results of this study indicate that the application of sitz bath hydrotherapy with the main ingredient of warm water at a temperature of 40-45OC can be applied to post-hemorrhoidectomy patients who experience moderate to severe pain. Abstract

This research was carried out by implementing onenoday development screening bags by parents with toddlers. Implementation of the media is needed to assess the product used. Developmental delays can be caused by a lack of concern for parents in carrying out stimulation, early detection, and intervention. So far, mothers under five have used the Mother and Child Health book as a medium for inspiration and early detection of child development. Unfortunately, the use of MCH book media by mothers under five is in the less category, and parents do not read MCH books for various reasons. Providing stimulation by providing traditional counselling before makes the material unacceptable. Therefore, this study proposes the implementation of a no-day development screening bag to assess parents' response to the product. This research design is descriptive and quantitative. The research sample was 30 parents with children under five in the working area of the Kalimanah Health Center. Incidental sampling technique. The instrument is in the form of a questionnaire, a Likert scale measurement scale. The data obtained is analyzed by calculating the percentage of answers to the questionnaire for each item. The results showed that it was easy to use 86.7%, instructions for use were clear 84.2%, users felt interested 87.5%, felt enthusiastic and motivated 85.8%, easy to understand material 83.8%, gained knowledge about early detection of toddler development 85.8%, could use 89.2%. We concluded that onenoday, parents with toddlers can implement development screening bags. Keywords: Child care; innovation in pediatrics; child development; health education; healthcare system

Abstract

The world reached a point where it was starting to change from a COVID-19 pandemic footing to an endemic area. Although variants of SARS-CoV-2 (novel coronavirus) pend this trajectory, the country may be ready to reimagine its effect on public health systems. Over two years ago, as new variants of COVID-19 emerged, Indonesia's public-health priorities focused on the essential missions of getting society assessed, vaccinated, and boosted while maintaining access to healthcare in hospitals. Inequalities predating the pandemic were laid bare as historically marginalized communities bore the brunt of the pandemic's ill impacts. Many healthcare professionals are now redressing vulnerabilities and planning a more robust path against infection. To help guide them on this journey, the healthcare provider should set forth four imperatives authorities consider when developing a comprehensive strategy to live with COVID-19. As the transition from pandemic to endemic is on the way, defining the next normal, tracking progress, limiting illness and death, and slowing transmission should be performed massively. Governments have a unique role in stewarding evolution by supporting innovative technology to deal with other health issues. The ground on which this next ordinary settle determines whether the lessons during the pandemic are heeded and could create a new habit for public-healthcare systems to emerge more responsive to whatever challenges lie in the future. Finally hope, this pandemic will end soon, and people may generally live without concerns. Keywords: Pandemic; endemic; innovation in health; quality care; health technology
