Abstract

Indonesian and Dutch cultural diplomacy through the "laying ceremony" at the port of Ratu Sukabumi. One of the characteristics of coastal communities is a strong dependence on the coastal environment. The good and bad of the environment will have a direct impact on their lives. The coastal communities discussed here are the people of Pelabuhan Ratu. The Pelabuhan Ratu community also has culture, namely traditional ceremonies that are still developing today in Palabuhanratu, which is often referred to as the Labuh Saji effort, Labuh Saji or called Fisherman's Day, this is a form of tradition, this tradition is carried out from generation to generation because it is believed to be an expression the gratitude of the Palabuhanratu community for the prosperity and abundant marine products and aims to honor Nyi Putri Mayangsagara or what we often hear as Nyai Ratu Kidul, of course these customs and traditions are quite interesting for the surrounding community. the coastal community of Pelabuhan Ratu in Sukabumi. The research method used is the literature review method which contains a description of the literature review that underlies the idea to solve the problem and support the theory search process. The results of the study indicate that it is true that there is a traditional culture in the Pelabuhan Ratu Sukabumi area, namely the Labuh Saji Ceremony. This tradition is carried out once a year to be exact on April 6 (Fishermen's Day).Keywords: Culture Diplomacy, Coastal Community, Pelabuhan Ratu, Labuh Saji

Abstract

Along with the industrial revolution (IR) 4.0, digital diplomacy or e-diplomacy is a necessity. However, these studies are still not widely developed. This article attempts to explain it – albeit with a very limited scope – from a public policy perspective. By using descriptive-qualitative method, the data source of this study was obtained from literature study. The results of the study show that e-diplomacy 4.0 is one part of the discipline of international relations, especially soft power diplomacy. After entering the early phase of society 5.0, diplomacy study actors have the opportunity to be more open to combining the two. Thus, a new paradigm is needed as the development of a conceptual framework for the study of international relations that develops in a multidisciplinary manner. The contribution of this article is the Paradigm Conceptual Framework of E-Diplomacy 4.0 and Society 5.0 as an effort towards e-diplomacy policy formulation. Through this paradigm, it is hoped that it will have implications for policy formulation efforts – by the government as a public policy actor – so that the participation and innovation of public soft power diplomacy in the digital field is more developed.Keywords: e-diplomacy paradigm – policy formulation – soft diplomacy

Abstract

Radicalism is currently a popular issue in Indonesia after the rule of the Taliban in Afghanistan, the potential for intolerance and radicalism is increasingly becoming a very hot issue. The Indonesian government continues to take preventive measures to counter the potential phenomenon of the development of acts of intolerance and radicalism in Indonesian society after the Taliban group came to power. This has shown a condition where it is vulnerable and has the potential to return to terrorism. The Taliban created turmoil in Afghanistan. This study will explore and describe Indonesia's efforts to counter the potential for intolerance and radicalism after the Taliban came to power. The data collection method used in this study is a literature study that the author has prepared that is relevant to the title that the author is researching. Where the author will take data from news, research reports, scientific journals, and books related to the theme of this research. Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) dianggap sebagai mesin pertumbuhan ekonomi di seluruh dunia, hal ini disebabkan karena UMKM memiliki peluang dalam bisnis di era globalisasi dan mendapat banyak peluang untuk bekerjasama secara terintegrasi dengan organisasi skala besar. Selama pandemi, Indonesia mengalami penurunan nilai ekspor, terutama UMKM di Provinsi Jawa Barat yang merupakan UMKM terbanyak di Indonesia. Untuk meningkatkan Kembali nilai ekspor perlu keterlibatan semua pihak, termasuk pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Barat karena UMKM merupakan salah satu motor penggerak perekonomian daerah, oleh karena itu perlu adanya dukungan dari pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Barat untuk mendorong UMKM memasuki pasar global dan berdampak pada nilai ekspor di wilayah Jawa Barat.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analisis. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi atau studi kepustakaan dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan logika deduktif, dengan membandingkan teori di balik masalah.Dari data yang dikumpulkan, bahwa strategi Jawa Barat dalam meningkatkan ekspor UMKM didukung oleh kegiatan para-diplomasi Jawa Barat melalui kegiatan diplomasi perdagangan yaitu berupa paradiplomasi dengan Kementerian/Lembaga terkait, kelompok sipil, dan kelompok usaha sehingga mampu meningkatkan ekspor UMKM Jawa Barat.Kata kunci : Paradiplomasi, Diplomasi Perdagangan, UMKM

Abstract

Praktik diplomasi budaya yang dilakukan oleh aktor-aktor negara dengan tujuan mencapai kepentingan nasional merupakan pemahaman konvensional yang berkembang dari waktu ke waktu akibat fenomena globalisasi. Kini aktor non-negara turut serta melakukan diplomasi budaya melalui pendekatan people-to-people relation. Peran aktor non-negara penting untuk mendukung diplomasi atau tujuan negara. Peran The Japan Foundation sebagai aktor diplomasi budaya Indonesia melalui program-program yang dilaksanakan dan JF juga mendukung pemerintah dalam mengimplementasikan tiga pilar diplomasi budaya yang digagas oleh pemerintah Jepang. Tiga prinsip itu adalah transmisi, penerimaan, dan koeksistensi. Prinsip ini menjadi pendorong untuk meningkatkan pengakuan diplomasi budaya dan memajukan diplomasi budaya di Jepang. The Japan Foundation terus membangun fondasi pertukaran budaya internasional dan memperluas jangkauannya melalui program-program yang diselenggarakan oleh The Japan Foundation di Indonesia.
