Abstract

Gunter's Quadrant is the work of Edmund Gunter in modifying the Horary Quadrant but cannot be used to accommodate the needs of Muslims in knowing prayer times. In previous research, the author has developed the Modified Gunter's Quadrant (ver.1) which can be used for calculating prayer times and has succeeded in improving the basic design of Gunter's Quadrant so that it can be made for latitudes near the equator. However, the Modified Gunter's Quadrant (ver.1) produces curves that look broken and the accuracy of the calculation results still needs to be improved because the hour curves interval is 15 minutes. The method of research used is Development Research which becomes a further development of the Modified Gunter's Quadrant (ver.1) to eliminate deficiencies in the projection concept of the hour and azimuth curves and to improve the accuracy of the calculation results of prayer times. The result of this research is the Modified Gunter's Quadrant (ver.2) which has a better curve projection method and improved accuracy with hour curve intervals of 5 minutes. The results of the accuracy test show that the Modified Gunter's Quadrant (ver.2) deserves to be used as one of the classical instruments for calculating prayer times with a maximum error of 0h 0m 53s.

Abstract

The amoi tradition is a tradition that has been carried out in the life of the rumahkay community passed down from generation to generation which refers to a culture of marriage customs and is more focused on the process of accepting the bride into the house (the groom's old house). The heritage of the ancestors that already exists needs to be built and preserved as a form of cultural wealth, this heritage cannot be extinguished because it contains an element of education in shaping the character of the community in order to still carry out the Amoi marriage custom. This research aims to find out and give an explanation related to the tradition of implementing Amoi marriage customs as one of the marriages in Rumahkay village. by using 2 indicators 1. What is the procedure for handing over property in the custom of amoi marriage (maso mata rumah) in a custom marriage in rumahkay village, amalatu subdistrict, seram regency in the west. 2. What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in the custom of amoi marriage (maso mata rumah) in the community of rumahkay village, amalatu district, seram regency in the west. The method used in this research is qualitative, and data collection techniques, observation, and interviews as well as data analysis techniques. Based on the results of the research that the Amoi marriage procedure is carried out in the life of the Rumahkay village community because the Amoi tradition is a custom that until now is still inherited in the life of the masyaratkat, in this case a consultation is held where the village head, village officials, traditional elders and both grooms and women are in a meeting together to carry out the marriage process. In the Amoi marriage procedure there are two factors, namely supporting and inhibiting factors in carrying out the process where the supporting factor such as in the implementation of the said custom must have the consent of both the bride and groom in this case the parents allow the child to build a household with people who has been chosen to be a husband or wife. However, the inhibiting factor is an action that is not agreed by one party, for example the woman's party cancels the marriage process because the man's party does not have the property that has been determined in the customary meeting.

One of the efforts made to anticipate the misuse of purposes and objectives in the process of making Travel Documents of the Republic of Indonesia (DPRI) is to select and avoid the issuance of Travel Documents of the Republic of Indonesia with the intention of family visits, tourist visits to countries receiving Indonesian Migrant Workers, in this case the provision of Travel Documents of the Republic of Indonesia for prospective migrant workers should be in accordance with the provisions of the regulations  applicable legislation. What is meant here is that the requirements in applying for a Travel Document of the Republic of Indonesia should be considered more carefully, because there are so many data forgeries carried out by prospective Migrant Workers. The Class I Immigration Office of TPI Yogyakarta can act decisively if there are suspicious things in submitting a passport application. To further improve coordination between the Class I Immigration Office of TPI Yogyakarta and the Distributor of Indonesian Migrant Worker Services related to Indonesian Migrant Workers.
