Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe errors in the use of capital letters, use of punctuation marks, and writing words in health study program student thesis. The sample of this study is 4 student thesis in 2022. Data collection is carried out using reading and note-taking techniques, while The data collection instrument uses a human instrument, namely the researcher himself. The data analysis technique used is a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. The validity of the data was obtained by means of interrater and interrater . The results of this study indicate that there are 248 spelling errors in the student thesis of the Health Study Program at Universitas Aufa Royhan, consisting of (1) 9 errors in the use of capital letters. (2) Errors in writing prepositions in and to as many as 30 errors which include errors in writing prepositions in as many as 27 errors, errors in writing prepositions to as many as 3 errors, while the affixes in -, to and prepositions from are not found errors in student thesis. (3) 208 mistakes in using punctuation, including 33 mistakes in using dot (.) punctuation, 164 mistakes in using comma (,) punctuation, 1 mistake in using dash (-), 1 mistake in using question mark (?) as many as 4 errors, and errors in the use of colon punctuation (:) as many as 8 errors.

Abstract

Parenting is the way or attitude of parents in raising and educating their children to behave in a healthy life. Parenting styles applied by parents are democratic, authoritarian, and permissive parenting styles. Learning achievement is the average value of the students' final semester exam results. The aim of the study was to identify the relationship between parenting style and student achievement at GKPS I Pematang Raya Vocational School, Simalungun Regency. This study uses a correlation descriptive research design. The population in this study were students at SMK GKPS I Pematang Raya, Simalungun Regency, class XI, namely 100 people. The number of samples obtained based on the calculation is 50 students. The sampling technique uses a simple random sampling approach. The research instrument consisted of 3 types of questionnaires: student demographic data, parenting patterns and learning achievement. To assess the strength of the relationship between parenting style and academic achievement, the Pearson correlation test was used. The results showed that 31 respondents (62%) were categorized as good parenting parents, and almost all respondents were in the moderate learning achievement category, namely 43 respondents (86%). Parenting style has a positive and adequate relationship with student achievement at SMK GKPS I Pematang Raya, Simalungun Regency, with a significant value of 0.000 (p <0.05), so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between parenting style parents with student achievement at SMK GKPS I Pematang Raya, Simalungun Regency. The research results obtained can be used as basic data and information for further research and it is recommended to pay more attention to data collection methods so that the data obtained is more accurate and representative.

Abstract

Mathematics is the science that underlies the development of modern technology. Mathematics has a role in various other disciplines, and advances human thinking. One of the learning methods that apply real learning aids is the demonstrass method. Demonstration method is a learning method that shows the object, the process of something being studied, accompanied by a brief explanation from the teacher and the participation of students in learning. The researcher formulates the problem as follows. Is there an effect of the use of demonstration methods with the media on mathematics learning outcomes in fifth grade students at SD Negeri 091546 Unong Manik? The research design used in this study was a one group pre-post test design. What is studied is the process of implementing learning, the increase that occurs from pretest to posttest, the effect of the demonstration method with the media on student learning outcomes using the demonstration method which is then compared with the two-way ANOVA test. Mathematics lessons before learning using the Demonstration method with the media reached 48, 68 were included in the almost sufficient category. Based on the t-test, the t-count results showed 1.553 with a p value of 0.129 0.05 meaning that there was an effect of the Demonstration method with the media on student learning outcomes in learning Mathematics for class V SD Negeri 091546 Unong Manik Semester 1 (even) Academic Year 2017/2018 After conducting research and data processing it can be concluded that the application of the demonstration method in learning mathematics affects student learning outcomes. Suggestions from researchers, demonstration methods can be used by teachers in learning activities to create an active learning atmosphere and to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Good citizens will not do anything that can harm the State even though it is related to personal needs. This study examines the citizenship review of illegal parking in the city of Jayapura, which is detrimental to the state because parking fees are not included in regional income but for personal interests, and this shows the low awareness of being a good citizen. With a qualitative method, this study aims to reveal the causes of rampant illegal parking, the problems that arise, and how local governments respond to them. The sample selected was ten people consisting of five illegal parking officers, three official parking officers, and two officers from the Jayapura City Regional Revenue Service. From the results of the study obtained information that illegal parking in the city of Jayapura is caused by factors: urgent needs, lack of job opportunities, and lack of human resource skills. The impact is a decrease in regional income and inconvenience in the parking area. There are no less illegal parking attendants who act arrogantly, asking for money by force in excess of the parking fee that should have been even though he did not carry out his duties to regulate vehicles that were parked properly. The Regional Government has taken several actions, including controlling parking locations, providing counseling to illegal parking officers, placing official parking officers, and inviting illegal parking officers to register themselves as official parking officers.

Abstract

Agrarian conflicts weakened the Administrative Judiciary and General Judiciary sectors in their settlement. The number of agrarian cases according to the Consortium for Agrarian Renewal for the period 2010-2019 amounted to 3,358 cases. The plantation, property, and infrastructure sectors become the largest agrarian conflicts in the last 5 years.  Normative juridical research methods, statutory approaches and case studies, primary and secondary legal materials with analysis and technical descriptive analysis. So the author analyzes the Urgency of the Establishment of Agrarian Courts. The results of the study assessed that the judicial power is free without outside intervention. The type of court chamber has not been able to solve problems in the land sector properly. An Agrarian Court is needed as an effort to resolve land problems and reduce blur in the authority to file cases. The administrative court and the general court have a jurisdiction to handle and settle agrarian conflict. The jurisdiction of administrative court is in the administrative aspect while the jurisdiction of general court is in the rights aspect. With high percentage of agrarian cases unsettled, there is a need to establish agrarian court to expedite the settlement of agrarian case comprehensively.

Abstract

The Mount Sinabung eruption in Karo Regency, North Sumatra, several years ago resulted in substantial material losses and fatalities. The Karo Regency Government through the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) had tried to deal with disaster problems, especially the Mount Sinabung eruption, by involving the Indonesian Army (Kodim 0205/Tanah Karo). The method used in this study was qualitative with a case study approach and sample Army of Indonesia. The results indicated that there was synergy, in the civilian-military relation, in efforts to overcome the Mount Sinabung eruption; especially in terms of evacuation and handling disaster assistance in a better and more systematic way. Therefore, there was a necessity for synergy between the civilians-military as a form to reduce disaster risk, emergency response, and for recovery phase for communities affected by disasters.

Abstract

Jaranan Arts Buto is an art originating from Banyuwangi and growing outside Banyuwangi and even outside Java. One of them is Jaranan Art Buto wargo Budoyo is a dance work that developed in the Sumbawa region, to be precise in the Five Residents Hamlet, Labuhan Sumbawa Village, Labuhan Badas District, Sumbawa Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. Properties used in the jaranan dance buto is a horse with the character buto . Where buto is a giant known as evil in Javanese mythology whose shape is like the shape of a horse but has a giant character. The use of horses in Jaranan art Buto wargo Budoyo has a philosophy of fighting spirit. Collecting data using interviews, observation and documentation. This study aims to determine the form of serving jaranan buto wargo budoyo such as movement, accompaniment, makeup and clothing, and things that support this art. This study analyzes the form of presentation of jaranan buto wargo budoyo in Labuhan Sumbawa using descriptive method is a qualitative research. The study used ethnographic methods from James P. Spradley's book. Ethnography consists of research techniques, ethnographic theories, and various kinds of describing culture. The approach used in this paper is choreography. The reference book that refers to the approach used is Y Sumandiyo Hadi's book with the title of content technique form . This research was able to find out the development and form of serving Jaranan Buto wargo Budoyo in the midst of the Labuhan Sumbawa community, Sumbawa district. Then so that it can be analyzed in written form by the next generation from generation to generation so that this art is still running today.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of football match rules in South Sulawesi Province referees. The main variable of this study is knowledge of the rules of football matches in South Sulawesi Province. The population in this study is all football referees under the auspices of the Provincial Association of the All Indonesia Football Association of South Sulawesi. While the sampling technique uses purposive sampling techniques with the samples used are 25 football referees in South Sulawesi Province. Based on the results of the analysis of the level of knowledge of football match rules, it can be categorized that of the 25 respondents are in the category that 2 respondents (8%) have a very less level of knowledge, 7 respondents (28%) have a less level of knowledge, 5 respondents (20%) have a moderate level of knowledge, 11 respondents (44%) have a good level of knowledge and 0 respondents (0%) have a very good level of knowledge. Knowledge of football match rules on South Sulawesi Province referees is in the "Good" category.
