Abstract

This research was conducted to design a Decision Support System as a tool for decision-makers in distributing Bidik Misi Scholarships at the Indonesian Business Polytechnic. The selection of students who volunteered to become recipients of the Bidik Misi Scholarship required the Decision Support System (DSS) approach which implemented the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method by weighting the criteria and sub-criteria of each alternative for all attributes. The criteria used in the SAW method in this study consisted of 2 (two) criteria and each of these criteria had sub-criteria. The first criterion is Parents with sub-criteria consisting of the education level, incomes, parents’ coverage. The second criterion is students with sub-criteria consisting of age, academic potential, ownership of the Indonesia Smart Card (KIP). The output obtained from the 5 data analyzed in this study, the final value of the highest alternative preference is 0.9 and the lowest alternative preference value is 0.55. The output obtained by using the Electre method is that the Student_Mari004 alternative eliminates other alternatives.

Abstract

A web application is a type of application that uses browser technology to run an application accessed via a mobile network. In this case, the web application can also assist in collecting customer data, especially those carried out by Unilever companies, where the system is quite efficient and accurate in collecting customer data. This system also makes it easier for companies engaged in data collection. In this case, the employees can easily record every customer and see the number of products used and selling well in the market. This is where the Unilever company will know how many products will continue to be produced and marketed. Furthermore. This paper discusses the development plan for this W.E.B. application towards Smartphone mode and development towards the Internet of Things for flexibility when accessing and getting data in real-time.

Abstract

Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) used in data processing is OMRON Corp's CP1E type. In this research, a prototype was produced using a solenoid valve amounting to 24 which will be used as output for sequential water based on timer and presser given on parameters. Five experiments are basic patterns: chessboard triangle, zebra cross, off shift, and on shift. The experiment used fuzzy logic parameters to obtain accuracy in the waterfall; the timer is on the ladder diagram to provide the value of the combination of falling water that varies on each pattern. The accuracy value in the range 0-1 on one experiment is off-shifted. At the value of 0.206 bar presser, the water accuracy level is 0.811. At the 0.41 bar presser level, the accuracy level is 0.532; the conclusion produced by the presser is very influential on the water accuracy level at the waterfall. This research applies a PLC approach to the Internet of Things (IoT) for flexibility control and monitoring needs.

Abstract

The process of controlling the flow of waste in irrigation canals is one form of effort to support the sustainability of plant growth on garden beds. Farmers use many strategies or efforts to maintain fertility and plant growth to obtain more increased and productive yields. Based on research, clean water from rivers in irrigation canals that pass through residential areas to produce wastewater before it reaches plants. Moreover, a process, less healthy for plant growth than clean water irrigation channels with normal pH (Potential Hydrogen) required by plants. Setting pH and soil moisture according to plant needs, i.e., 6.5-7 for water pH and 50%-70% for soil moisture. This value is the best step in plant growth care; an irrigation canal is made that can measure water pH using sensor pH and soil moisture by using a soil moisture sensor and can normalize water pH and soil moisture according to plant needs. The pH down pump automatically pours acidic pH when the pH reading is alkaline and vice versa; the up pump automatically pours acid when the pH reading is acidic. To measure the water level in the reservoir, use an ultrasonic sensor to not seep out of the reservoir because it is full. This tool is equipped with a pump to channel water from the wastewater reservoir to the water pH measurement reservoir and proceed to the plants, where fuzzy logic works to regulate the speed of the plant watering pump with input obtained from soil moisture sensor readings and temperature sensors. Finally, control using the Esp32 MCU Node by being monitored using the Blynk application displayed on the android.

Abstract

Spraying appropriately and regularly will help develop rice plants' growth and development to produce superior rice. These pesticides' spraying is sometimes uneven because of the vast land, limited human labor, and several other factors. that appropriate technology is needed that helps in the process of spraying rice pesticides using drones. Drones are deemed appropriate in spraying its advantages, among others, more effective, reducing the involvement of humans in work. Drones help track consistently and in detail the part of agricultural land that will be sprayed with pesticides, unlike humans. It is more automatic in monitoring, with the camera used on the drone can see the growth of rice plants directly and do recording or real-time connecting to the application server or IoT. Besides spraying pesticides, regular monitoring of plants can be done with drones. This study uses a UAV simulation for mapping the location of pesticide spraying, the results of contributions to large areas, and analysis of drone power consumption, which means allocating Drones to the area of land being managed.

Abstract

Presence is one of the inherent aspects of the students. The presence system conducted in kindergarten Nurul Huda Kotapinang still uses a conventional system in the form of absent notes or books. This is considered less efficient because the data written by the teacher on the students still use the Presence book that is vulnerable to damage due to exposure to water and destructive things. Based on the background of the problems faced by teachers in kindergarten Nurul Huda Kotapinang, the authors designed the information system for students. This system is designed using Visual Basic .Net. In contrast, the programming language used is VBsrift and MySQL database. This system is designed and built to facilitate the delivery of information. The primary purpose of this system is to make it easier for teachers to attend to their students. It can be concluded Development Information System Presence can replace the confessional way previously used in kindergarten Nurul Huda Kotapinang into Student Presence Information Systems Based Visual Basic. As a development, this present system was modified in its programming language to produce a platform that is compatible with the Internet of Things Technology.

Abstract

Along with the development of the internet era which is very fast today, the network security system becomes a very urgent matter and needs attention. The number of criminal activities and cyber attacks that attack servers through the network makes a server administrator need to make extra efforts in maintaining and monitoring data traffic that enters or leaves the server system. One of the efforts often made by server admins is to monitor server activity and then immediately secure the server from attacks that they identify from the monitoring results. data packets. Here an algorithm is built where the output of the Wireshark application is an analysis result that will distinguish the presence of a malicious accessing IP and then notify the server admin to set the firewall and block the IP that is considered dangerous, or analyze the port that is temporarily under attack and then notify the admin to close the port. . From the results of this algorithm research by simulating attacks using Synflood Attack on the server, it can be seen that the level of effectiveness of the algorithm in dealing with attacks can make RAM and CPU lighter so that it does not burden the hardware when compared to without using the algorithm and also makes system network traffic more efficient.

Abstract

E-mail is a medium of long-distance communication via the internet, which is currently often used for message exchange needs. But the use of e-mail has security problems, especially regarding data leakage when sending messages via e-mail. One of the efforts to improve the security of data and information is the application of cryptographic techniques and methods, namely end-to-end encryption. Cryptography is the science of reducing the risk of security threats by encrypting and decrypting data and information. In the implementation of the e-mail system, at least 2 (two) suitable encryption techniques are needed, namely symmetric encryption techniques to encrypt messages and data to be sent via e-mail effectively and efficiently, and asymmetric encryption techniques used to distribute keys used by symmetric encryption. Therefore, in this study, we use the El-Gamal encryption model to distribute the symmetric key, and the AES encryption model is a fairly secure algorithm to protect message data or confidential information.

Abstract

Images Recognition and Face Recognition are a form of artificial intelligence developed on Robots and Smart CCTV, such as technology currently developing, such as YOLO Real-time Object Detection and Images Recognition using Python language. In this research, the tool trying to be used is the ESP32 camera and his approach to several types of study, such as smart door locks. To activate this ESP32 camera, use the ATmega 328 mini Microcontroller, Arduino board, and FTDI Programmer. The thing that can be analyzed is the delay or inference time (ms) on the ESP32 camera. Face recognition technology in this research is devoted to using the ES32 camera, which is expected to be an inexpensive image recognition solution. This research using the ESP32 camera was made as easy as possible to be applied by everyone, but by not leaving the analysis side, one of which is on the time side of the camera's detection of the object in front of it, how far and fast (ms), this object can be explicitly detected. Speed is seen from the resolution specifications used for face recognition and image recognition, such as CIF and QVGA, and throughput (bytes) analysis of ESP32-Cam and Server using Wireshark.

Abstract

Recruitment is an important aspect of human resource management at a university, particularly at Makassar State University. Selection is a step in the recruitment process that determines whether prospective students who apply are a good fit for the program of study. The advancement of information systems facilitates the recruitment registration process. The decision support system is present to assist decision-makers in receiving appropriate recommendations for prospective teacher students who have been selected. This study employs the MAUT method's development, which is carried out in stages, hence the Multi-Level MAUT. Because assessment metrics are classified, we combine several MAUT methods to reach a final decision. The algorithm used produces good results, namely the ability to rank correctly based on stakeholder preferences.
