Abstract

This paper was a research of the traditional fishers’ life and the poverty prison of the Natural Resources in Teluk Belitung Village, Merbau District. The researchers described the current situation of traditional fishers' households and their value orientation towards jobs as fishers with a bargaining position. The mix method was chosen as the approaching model to understand the subject matter with the data analysis phase, including categorizing, compiling labels, and concluding. The monopoly of the fisheries economy by some Chinese entrepreneurs has maintained poverty for traditional fishers who worked for them or not. Debt guarantees were ways to cover up detrimental situations and destroy fishery resources in the research area. The researchers used the Kluckhohn approach to uncover the actual value orientation of fishers in a tight situation. Fishers understood that using dencis threatened the environment, but this method was chosen to maintain their position as fishers with sufficient income. There were other alternative jobs such as gardening. However, when they did it, they required seeds, fertilizers, and other types of equipment. The poor economic conditions made it challenging to do gardening while the guarantee of life for their households was lacking, especially from the local government.

Abstract

The mechanism for determining product cost is a crucial factor because it can impact sales volume and profit. One of the control mechanisms in determining the cost of goods manufactured is to use the concept of accurate costing. Thus, this study aim to analysis the use of an accurate costing method to minimize errors in determining the cost of goods manufactured. This study uses a literature review with charting the field technique. The results show that each method of assigning costs has its accuracy according to the type of cost charged to the product. Direct costs are assigned to cost objects by direct tracing. Meanwhile, costs that require driving activities are charged using driver tracing. Meanwhile, costs that do not have a causal relationship to the cost object are charged with allocation. The result shows that Activity Based Costing (ABC) is rated as the most accurate method. However, it should be noted that the accuracy of ABC depends on the ability of resources to identify cost drivers. Failure to identify cost drivers can be a boomerang that makes ABC's effectiveness lower than conventional methods.

Abstract

The goal of this study was to see how psychographic elements from the millennial generation influenced MSMEs' purchasing decisions for traditional food products. Psychographic elements in this study were lifestyle, social class, consumer personality traits, and income. Knowing which of the four variables is the most influential is also important. The sample was taken using survey techniques, and the method employed in this study is descriptive. By purposefully selecting the sample requirements, the research location is Surakarta City. The 400-sample method of determining the sample. Residents of Surakarta aged 21 to 41 years are the sample criterion for the millennial generation. The data analysis approach, on the other hand, was SEM, which was examined with AMOS 22 software. The results of the SEM analysis suggest that the goodness of fit is generally good and may be deemed to meet the model fit, specifically CMIN/Df = 2.85; TLI= 0.97; CFI= 0.98; NFI= 0.97; IFI= 0.98; IFI= 0.98; RMSEA= 0.07; GFI = 0.95 AGFI 0.9. The model's estimation results show that lifestyle influences purchasing decisions (p= 0.00; cr= 5.463), social class influences purchasing decisions (p= 0.00; cr= 1.96) and consumer personality traits influence purchasing decisions (p= 0,00; cr= 13,019), and income influences purchasing decisions (p= 0,00; cr= 12,195). The results of earlier studies are typically supported by the relationship between the variables in this study's structural equation model. The consumer personality character variable has the biggest influence (p = 0.00; cr = 13, 019) on the decision to buy traditional food goods from MSMEs (p = 0.00; cr = 13, 019).
