Abstract

The problem faced is that the learning outcomes and student activity in class VII MTs N 5 Boyolali are still low. This research aims to find out that the use of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model can improve learning outcomes and student activity in learning. This type of research is descriptive qualitative which provides an overview of the application of the CTL learning model to improve learning outcomes and student activity. The design of this research is pre-experimental with a one group pretest-posttest design. The population and sampling were class VII students at MTs N 5 Boyolali, totaling 33 students. The method for collecting data on student learning outcomes is in the form of test sheets and questionnaires for student activity. The data analysis technique uses the N-gain score test to calculate the comparison of pretest and posttest scores. The research results show that the use of the CTL model is 61.38% effective in improving student learning outcomes. Apart from that, there was an increase in student activity by 84.4% of students actively participating in learning activities. It was concluded that the use of the CTL learning model can improve learning outcomes and student activity in learning

Abstract

Blended learning has become a learning adaptation in the post-COVID-19 pandemic era. This means that schools have implemented offline learning in the classroom but the essence of online learning is still available, such as using audiovisual media in learning. This research aims to determine the fifth-grade students' perceptions of the use of Doratoon-based animated videos in Civic Education learning. This research used mixed research methods which consisted of a questionnaire for fifth-grade students and in-depth interviews with 5 students among the survey respondents. The results explained that fifth-grade students tend to strongly agree with the use of animated videos as learning media in Civic Education class. This was proven by the mean score of 4,5 in the survey which showed that students strongly agree with the implementation of Doratoon-based animation videos in the aspects of students' interest in Doratoon animation videos, ease of understanding, and ease of absorbing more information. This research is expected to help teachers determine effective learning media for teaching fifth-grade students in Civic Education subjects.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in SD Negeri 3 Bumi Waras due to the fact that the educators have not provided creative and innovative learning media in the learning process, resulting in students' lack of active engagement in learning. This study aims to determine the influence of using PowerPoint media on the learning outcomes of thematic subjects among students. The research method used is quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study consists of 76 students in the fourth grade. The research sample consists of 50 students selected using purposive sampling technique. The data collection techniques employed are observation, document analysis, and tests. The data analysis involves simple linear regression. The results of this research indicates that there is an influence of PowerPoint media on the learning outcomes of students in the fourth grade thematic subjects at SD Negeri 3 Bumi Waras in the academic year 2022/2023.

Abstract

The current learning process mostly uses a blended learning system. Students can study in class and even study online using a learning management system (LMS). The purpose of this research is to evaluate a program which evaluates learning using elearning. The research method is descriptive, where the research assesses input (lecturers, staff and students), learning process (elearning readiness, learning equipment readiness and preparation of RPS) then output (satisfaction, evaluation and student grades). The results of the research found that in terms of lecturer human resources, 82.8% of lecturers had prepared learning devices for their respective elearning courses and as many as 5% of students complained about the problem of not being able to access elearning due to signal difficulties. In terms of the process, there are still lecturers who have not prepared complete learning tools. Meanwhile, in terms of output, students get good grades because the assignments are complete, the material reads well. The conclusion is that overall the use of LMS in the learning process is very helpful and can improve abilities and achieve learning outcomes easily. Although there are still obstacles from the lecturer and student side.

Abstract

Students of the Sports Education Study Program experience problems of fatigue, lack of concentration, and inmotivation during theoretical lectures and practical activities that require endurance and flexibility. These observations indicate that a lack of physical fitness may affect academic performance and active participation in physical activity. The study aims to analyze the physical fitness of students through Weight training to improve their strength, endurance, and flexibility. This study used quantitative descriptive method by applying Weight training Exercise as an intervention. Analysis of the level of physical fitness showed that the strength aspect reached the high category by 60%, the endurance aspect reached the high category by 50%, and the flexibility aspect reached the high category by 40% of the total number of students. Weight training with exercise intensity, duration, regular diet, and adequate rest can effectively increase the strength, endurance, and flexibility of Sports Education Study Program students. This is very relevant to the purpose of sports education that wants to improve the physical abilities of students, both for the benefit of sports and health in general.

Abstract

One of the problems experienced by Catholic Religious Education (PAK) teachers at SDI Pelibaler is the unsatisfactory learning achievement of students.   Overcoming these problems, audio-visual media is offered as an alternative learning media which, if managed properly in the learning process, will have a significant effect on improving the learning achievement of Class V SDI Pelibaler students. The research subjects in this study were fifth grade students of SDI Pelibaler, totaling 13 students. The data in this study were obtained from the observation of students' activities and the final test instrument of each cycle. This research data was analyzed descriptively qualitative. The results showed that the application of audio-visual media can improve students' learning achievement. In the pre-cycle, students who completed their learning reached 46.15% while those who did not complete 53.84%. In cycle 1, students who were complete were 84.61% and those who were not complete were 15.39%. In cycle 2, students who were complete reached 100%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the use of audio-visual media can improve the learning achievement of Grade V students of SDI Pelibaler, Doren District, Sikka Regency.

Abstract

This research has a background, namely teachers in making E-LKPD is still limited to the form of multiple-choice questions and essays. Electronic student worksheets (E-LKPD) are also directly components on doing questions or answering questions. E-LKPD uses this Wizer.me platform has never been used by teachers in social studies learning and also wants to develop other interesting technologies such as this Wizer.me which has a variety of question forms such as drawing, filling in clumped sentences, and so on, and this can generate student interest in social studies. The purpose of this study is to determine the validity and effectiveness of Interactive E-LKPD using Wizer.me in social studies learning Community Life Material During the Hindu-Buddhist Period grade VII SMP Negeri 1 Panti for the 2022/2023 academic year. This research uses research and development methods. The research model used is ASSURE. The data obtained is in the form of qualitative and quantitative data. Data collection techniques used include interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. This research has the following results: 1) The results of the validity test conducted by material experts obtained a percentage of 76% which means quite valid, media / design experts obtained a percentage of 87% which means very valid, and linguists obtained a percentage of 87% which means very valid. Of the three results, an average percentage of 83% was obtained with a fairly valid category. 2) The results of the effectiveness of E-LKPD tested on students get a percentage of 87% which is categorized as very effective.

Abstract

Choosing the right learning model has a big influence on student learning outcomes. In practice, at SMP Negeri 4 Mauliru they tend to still use lecture or conventional learning methods so that student learning outcomes are relatively low. Therefore, reseach was carried out by applying the Project Based Learning (PBL) model. This research aims to see the effect of the PBL model on student mathematics learning outcomes. Learning outcomes are the entire series of activities that have been completed during the learning process, both directly and indirectly, which are then used as a benchmark for determining the level of success achieved by students. This research is quantitative research with an experimental type using a one-group pre-test post-test design. The population in this study were all class VIII students at SMP Negeri 4 Mauliru and the subjects were all class VIIIC students. The instruments used in this research were a pretest and posttest consisting of 5 questions. The data analysis used in this research is descriptive and inferential analysis. The results of this research indicate that there is a significant influence on students' mathematics learning outcomes using the PBL model. This is based on the results of the hypothesis test which shows that the sig (2-tailed) value is 0.000, which means the value is less than 0.05 (< 0.05), so Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the PBL model on student mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

The selection of the right learning model is very influential on student learning outcomes. In its application at SMK negeri 5 Waingapu, it tends to still use the lecture method or conventional learning so that student learning outcomes are relatively low. Therefore, research was conducted by applying the Discovery Learning model. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Discovery Learning model in improving the mathematics learning outcomes of class XI students of SMK Negeri 5 Waingapu on matrix material. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) whose implementation is carried out in two cycles with cycle 1 occurring two meetings and cycle 2 also two meetings with each cycle consisting of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class XI TAV (Audio & Video Engineering) SMK Negeri 5 Waingapu which amounted to 17 people. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) whose implementation was carried out in two cycles with cycle 1 occurring two meetings and cycle 2 also two meetings with each cycle consisting of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class XI TAV (Audio & Video Engineering) SMK Negeri 5 Waingapu, totaling 17 people. The method of data collection is through tests (pretest and posttest questions) and documentation.  Which will be analyzed using qualitative descriptions consisting of data reduction stages, data presentation and data verification. Before being subjected to action, student learning outcomes were only 41.1% (7 students) who met the KKM and in cycle I students who met the KKM increased to 58.8% (10 students), also in cycle II students who met the KKM increased to 88.2% (15 students). So it can be concluded that the results of the study state that the application of the Discovery Learning model can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes on matrix material.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship between parental support and tolerance character among fifth-grade students at MI An Nuur Cahaya Umat. The issue at MI An Nuur Cahaya Umat indicates that the level of tolerance is still low. The subjects of this study consisted of 18 students. Data collection technique used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique employed was Pearson Product Moment with the assistance of IBM SPSS-26. The research findings indicate that the Pearson Correlation result is 0.145, which is categorized as low, with a significance result of 0.566, indicating a low correlation between parental support and tolerance character. Therefore, it can be concluded that parental support correlates lowly with the tolerance character of fifth-grade students at MI An Nuur Cahaya Umat.
