Abstract

In the era of digital disruption, the development of science and technology is very rapidly increasingly encouraging reforms in various fields, especially in the field of education in utilizing the results of technology itself in the learning process. Religious education is a compulsory subject that is applied at every level of education. One of them is the learning subject of Hindu religious education. Revitalization of Hindu religious education learning in the era of digital disruption must continue to be encouraged so that superior Hiindu human resources are realized. Educators are currently required to be able to master various technologies so that they are able to use the various learning facilities provided in schools. Educators are required to develop skills by making interactive learning media by utilizing available educational technology. Effective learning requires good planning before the learning process is carried out. Every educator is required to be able to create interactive learning media. Currently, teachers are also required to have various soft skills that can be used to support the learning process. The complex problems in learning Hindu religious education include the system of learners, educators and students. So that innovation and progress in learning Hindu religious education can be realized. Revitalization of Hindu religious education learning is expected to be able to face the challenges of Hindus in the realm of education easily. So that various elements ranging from the younger generation to the elderly can work together to build a better Hindu religious education and create superior Hindu human resources (HR) so that the goals of national education can be achieved.

Abstract

Sanskrit is the language of Veda or the language used to describe the holy word of God, so it is very important for Hindus to know about the language of Sanskrit before studying Veda. In addition, all the concepts contained in Hinduism are derived from Sanskrit. Thus, Sanskrit is the earliest and basic language that Hindus must master in order to deepen Vedic teachings. The Sanskrit learning method really determines the success of learning, so the learning method needs to be adapted to the character and needs of learning.

Abstract

Upanisad is the essence of Vedas teachings which contain teachings on divinity, ritual, cosmos and ethics. Ethics is a teaching that teaches people to have good character. The teachings of ethics contained in this Upanishad can be used as a guide in living life in this era of globalization. At present, the era of globalization turns out to have a variety of impacts on life, one of which is social deviations that occur among the younger generation. This lack of understanding of ethical teachings is indeed a factor in the causes of declining morality. Some of the ethical teachings contained in this upanisad are about satya, tat twam asi, and also self-control. If these teachings are truly realized, they are expected to increase religious knowledge and instill good behavior for the younger generation and can be applied in a family, school and community environment.

Abstract

Globalization is caused by technological developments, economic progress and the sophistication of information facilities. The aforementioned conditions have had a positive impact as well as a negative impact on the Indonesian nation. The reality is that this is the biggest challenge for the world of education today. In fact culture cannot be separated from education, even culture is the basis or basis of education. This formula reaches far into the future, because it is said that education is not only based on an aspect of culture, namely the intellectual aspect, but also on culture as a whole. The culture on which this education is based must be national in nature. Thus the culture in question is real culture, namely the culture that lives in the Indonesian national society. Abstract

The Coronavirus (Covid -19) has been declared a Pandemic by the World Health Organization or what is called the World Health Organizer (WHO), because it has spread to almost all countries in the world. Efforts to contain the spread of this virus are continuously being carried out, but in implementation it is inevitable that new impacts or problems will arise in the adjustment. For this reason, further research is needed in order to reveal the impacts arising from the adjustment of people's lives to the epidemic disaster management efforts. In this study, the research location was carried out in Bali. The approach in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach, which will explain the picture of the socio-cultural life of the Balinese Hindu community in the midst of the Covid -19 Pandemic. This study aims to determine the effects of the Covid-19 Pandemic so that it can be used as learning in the future to face similar disasters. The effects of this Pandemic are also studied from the perspective of Hindu religious education. As a result of the arrival of the Coronavirus (Covid -19), many significant changes have occurred in Bali. The results showed that the socio-cultural life of the Balinese people followed new adjustments or adaptations to anticipate the development of the Corona virus disease (Covid -19) outbreak. These adjustments include regulations, religious activities (regarding traditions) and social activities

Abstract

Learning that is carried out in elementary schools is very important in providing multicultural education for students. Primary school is the starting place for students to study. In the learning process in schools that is followed by students from various backgrounds, it is felt that multicultural education is very important. Multicultural education in learning requires an introduction to the various cultures possessed by humans from various ethnic groups, races or ethnicities, and religions. With the existence of differences in ethnicity, race, and religion in learning in elementary schools, a learning process is needed to be able to teach multicultural education with shared values. The value of togetherness in learning in elementary schools such as learning to live in diversity, building mutual trust between students, maintaining mutual understanding, and upholding mutual respect.

Abstract

Religious life in the practice of religious teachings is shaped by the cultural characteristics of each region. Religious teachings occupy a very important place in their lives and motivate the formation of a spirit of spiritual harmony in order to achieve the goals of Hinduism itself. The Nedeh ceremony is a series of religious activities where rice planting is carried out once every 50 days. Performing this ritual is a tribute to Dewi Sri for physical and mental well-being. The values ​​of Hindu religious education discussed in this study are: divine values, social values, aesthetic values, ethical or moral values ​​and the value of increasing morality and awareness, parallel. The existence of religious customs is supported by customs and religious customs. Pedagogical values ​​can shape and instill noble attitudes, personalities, and personalities so that humans can carry out their work in the future.

Abstract

The Wayang Gedog performance at the Atma Wedana ceremony in Pekraman Beringkit Village plays the play Bima Swarga which tells the story of Bima's journey full of obstacles in order to save Atma from his parents (Dewi Madri and Pandu). the implementation of the Pitra Yadnya ceremony is carried out in groups (mass), in this Wayang Gedog performance also facilities such as offerings and equipment are used to support the course of the performance. The stages carried out by Mangku Dalang in the Wayang Gedog performance are, performing prayers at Mangku Dalang's house to be protected during the performance, eating a meal, matur piuning which aims to ask permission to perform the performance, performing a performance which is divided into three acts, and making Tirta Sudamala on end of the show. The implementation of this ceremony aims to increase Pitara's status to Pitara God. The problems that will be discussed include: (1) What is the form of the Wayang Gedog performance at the Atma Wedana ceremony in Pakraman Beringkit Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency?, (2) What is the function of the Wayang Gedog performance at the Atma Wedana ceremony in Pakraman Beringkit Village, sub-district Mengwi Badung Regency?, (3) What Hindu religious education values ​​are contained in the Wayang Gedog Performance at the Atma Wedana ceremony in Pakraman Beringkit Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency?. The theory used to analyze the problem is the theory: Structural Functional Theory and Value Theory. The object of this research is the Wayang Gedog performance at the Atma Wedana ceremony in Pakraman Beringkit Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency, while the subjects of this research are Mangku Dalang, Community Leaders, and the general public who know about the Wayang Gedong Performance at the Atma Weda Ceremony in Pakraman Beringkit Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency. The data collection methods used in this study were the observation method, the library method, the interview method and the documentation method. The analytical strategy used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results showed (1) the form of the Wayang Gedog performance, (2) the function of the Wayang Gedog performance, (3) the values ​​of Hindu religious education in the Wayang Gedog performance. The value of Hindu religious education contained in the Wayang Gedog performance at the Atma Wedana ceremony, namely: 1). Tattwa education, Tattwa education contained is about the nature of God's omnipotence as creator, preserver and fuse (Tri Kona) which is symbolized in Mangku Dalang. 2) Moral Education, the moral education contained is teaching to be able to be respectful towards parents, which can be done by doing and saying things that do not hurt parents' hearts. 3) Ceremonial education, the ceremonial education contained is to provide an understanding of the virtues of carrying out the Atma Wedana ceremony, so that in carrying out the ceremony, it can be done seriously as an effort to help the Atma from the ancestors so that later they can occupy a better place.

Abstract

Konsep asli ajaran Catur Marga adalah jalan spiritualitas berdasarkan empat tingkatan untuk mendekatkan diri pada Tuhan, yakni; 1) Bhakti Marga, 2) Karma Marga, 3) Jnana Marga, dan 4) Raja Marga. Esensi dari Bhakti Marga adalah jalan ketaatan dan loyalitas pengabdian pada Tuhan, Karma Marga adalah jalan perbuatan untuk memupuk karma baik, Jnana Marga adalah jalan pengetahuan, dan Raja Marga adalah jalan pengendalian diri dan pengekangan hawa nafsu. Namun sesungguhnya ajaran Catur Marga juga dapat diadaptasi menjadi sebuah pola konstruksi karakter dan penguasaan profesionalisme berbagai perspektif keilmuan. Salah satunya mengkonstruksi profesionalisme bidang industri perhotelan. Studi yang dilakukan pada mahasiswa Institut Pariwisata dan Bisnis Internasional (IPBI) yang melaksanakan On the Job Training (OJT) menemukan bahwa pada hakikatnya pola Catur Marga telah diimplementasikan secara hakiki dalam membentuk profesionalisme di bidang industri perhotelan. Implementasi tersebut meliputi; 1) Bhakti Marga, yaitu membentuk ketaatan, rasa hormat dan disiplin serta loyalitas terhadap swadharma dan industri tempat bekerja atau magang, 2) Karma Marga, yaitu melatih inisiatif dalam berbuat dan pelayanan tanpa pamrih, 3) Jnana Marga, yaitu melatih skill dan knowledge, dan 4) Raja Marga, yaitu melatih kendali diri untuk menjadi wise person dan low profile. Abstract

Children who have just reached the age of teenagers have emotions that are still unstable in determining attitudes and are still easily influenced. And each child develops with its own characteristics. But in life and in relationships, emotions are needed as an activating energy for ethical values such as trust, integrity, empathy, tenacity and credibility, as well as for social capital, which is able to build and maintain mutually beneficial and trusting relationships.This study aims to determine the results of Hindu religious education, the level of emotional intelligence, and the correlation between Hindu religious education and the emotional intelligence of students in Junior High School. The subject studied 197 students, which were determined based on the Krejcie table, Warwick and Lininger formulas with proportional random sampling technique. The measurement of Hindu religious education uses the method of recording student learning outcomes. The instrument of emotional intelligence level is a closed category questionnaire with a vulnerable score of 1 to 5. The analytical technique used in this study is descriptive analysis, moment correlation with a rough number formula. This study found (1) the learning outcomes of students' Hindu religious education were in the medium category with an average of 75.40 from the ideal maximum value of 100; (2) the level of emotional intelligence of students is in the neutral category with an average of 124.66 from the ideal maximum score of 175; and (3) a positive and significant relationship between Hindu religious education and the level of emotional intelligence of students.After going through the research, namely the process of preparing instruments, testing instruments, collecting data and analyzing data, it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of Hindu Religious Education students are in the medium category with an average of 75.40. The emotional intelligence level of the students was in the neutral category with an average of 124.66. And it is clear that there is a positive and significant relationship between the learning outcomes of Hindu religious education on the level of emotional intelligence of students with the results of rcount = 0.159, meaning that increasing the learning outcomes of Hindu religious education will also increase the level of emotional intelligence of students.
