Abstract

As a nation that upholds traditional values and is internationally recognized for its etiquette and politeness, Indonesia stands out in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has significantly impacted the character of students across much of the world. The aim of this research is to understand the motivations underlying individuals' actions in shaping a child's character during the Covid-19 era through Islamic education. The current study employs a quantitative methodology utilizing a survey model and written questionnaires. The survey used for this research was conducted online. The results of this study indicate that students' self-confidence increases when teachers use dolls to engage children during the Covid-19 era in the learning process. The findings of this research clearly demonstrate that the support provided by parental parenting styles to teachers in the process of Islamic education in the classroom greatly enhances students' achievements. Therefore, the conclusion of this research is limited to examining the role of youth in the Covid-19 era within Islamic education. Thus, the researcher hopes that future researchers can investigate the role of youth in the Covid-19 era, incorporating the findings of this research into other fields of study.

Abstract

Preaching in the era of globalization has become an essential aspect of human life transformation. Humans, with their complex nature, must be capable of adapting to an increasingly dynamic era. Gender differences should ideally enable religious individuals to embrace diversity, which supports success in the preaching process. However, in its actualization within society, the presence of gender differences becomes an inevitable issue and problematic. Preaching for every steward of the Earth will only succeed if gender equality issues are not brought up.

Abstract

The significant number of divorce cases, including both divorces and widowhoods, in Indonesia, particularly in the West Sumatra region, known colloquially as 'Broken Homes,' has raised concerns among researchers regarding its potential influence on the socialization process of children. This research was conducted using a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, making it a mini research study. The data collection technique employed was online interviews conducted through Google Forms. The study subjects were children who had experienced a broken home and were residing in the West Sumatra area. The research results revealed that the concept of a Broken Home family can indeed impact the socialization process of children, encompassing primary socialization aspects such as shifts in a child's personality, education, and habits, as well as secondary socialization processes involving mass media, formal institutions, and the immediate environment. These changes were found to be influenced by both parties involved—namely, children and families—with remaining motivation, strong religious knowledge, and mutual support serving as contributing factorsAbstract:The significant number of divorce cases, including both divorces and widowhoods, in Indonesia, particularly in the West Sumatra region, known colloquially as 'Broken Homes,' has raised concerns among researchers regarding its potential influence on the socialization process of children. Abstract

The views and images of women in the media can vary greatly, depending on the context and type of media involved. However, there are several common patterns in the representation of women in the media, including:  Traditional stereotypes: The media still often portrays women in traditional stereotypes, such as domestic roles as mothers or homemakers, or as objects of sexualization conforming to narrow beauty standards. Narrow representation: Women in the media are sometimes depicted in limited roles, merely serving as embellishments to stories involving male main characters. Objectification: Media frequently treats women as objects, focusing on their physical appearance and sexuality rather than their abilities or  personalities.  Violence and injustice: Certain types of media tend to exploit portrayals of violence or injustice experienced by women, without adequately addressing these issues. Based on this background, the researcher is interested in identifying the characteristics of women in the online media Tiktok, as Tiktok is a trending social media platform in its utilization.

Abstract

AbstractIn today's rapidly advancing digital era, the ability to master technology has become crucial for everyone. Nearly all activities can be carried out using technology, especially digital technology that is accessible by anyone, anytime, and anywhere, from adults to young children. However, it's important to note that young children, who are in a crucial stage of growth and development, are highly susceptible to environmental influences, including digital technology which is now easily accessible to them, often with parental permission to use gadgets. Therefore, this is a significant concern because in the age range of 0-6 years, a child's brain development progresses rapidly, reaching up to 80%, allowing their brains to easily absorb various information, both positive and negative. This period is often referred to as the "golden age," which requires close supervision from adults regarding the use of digital technology by young children. Strict supervision is necessary because digital technology can grant unrestricted access to young children, including access to negative content such as pornography and violent games, which can adversely impact their morals and development. Conversely, with proper guidance and supervision, the use of digital technology can offer numerous benefits to young children, such as enhancing their creativity and insights, as well as helping them explore talents and interests in the digital realm.  Therefore, the author is interested in identifying and describing the digital literacy skills of young children as a long-term investment
