Abstract

Teacher performance appraisal is an analytical process in order to produce good teaching The process of assessing teacher performance at SMP Kartika Pematangsiantar is not so detailed (detailed). With the non-detailed assessment, it is feared that there will be a subjective assessment (based on personal interests), which can cause social jealousy for teachers who do not accept achievement. In the assessment of teacher teaching, data on student satisfaction with the teacher is needed. In collecting data using a questionnaire and the variables used in this research there are 4, namely discipline, teaching quality, behavior, and social relations. This study aims to assist the school in improving the performance of teachers, especially in the way of teaching teachers based on student satisfaction by using the C4.5 . method.

Abstract

Hotel is a type of accommodation or a provider of facilities and services for lodging, food, beverages and Convention Hall. Where in a hotel will have a lot of inventory and stock of goods needed for the operation of the hotel. Information systems are very important and much needed in hospitality. One of these information systems is the inventory system. With the inventory system, the hotel can manage, control and track all required inventory and stock of goods. The inventory system can simplify the analysis of stock requirements that must be met by the hotel, control the location of stock storage and find out the stock that has been used. A case study in designing inventory tracing is PT. Sapadia Wisata Medan which is engaged in the hotel/lodging sector in the city of Medan. Where the company has 5 lodging properties and of course has a lot of inventory mutation transactions and transactions in and out of stock goods. The obstacle faced by the company is the absence of an information system for inventory. So that many problems occur because of the absence of an information system. The design uses UML (Unified Modeling Language) diagrams, namely use-case diagrams, class diagrams and activity diagrams).

Abstract

The development of information technology at this time, bringing updates to everyone both in the means of communication and to buying and selling methods that are not left behind by their impact, the rapid development of information technology makes it easier for people to sell and buy goods online, both via the web and on mobile devices. now often referred to as Android. Android makes it very easy for people to sell and buy goods, because Android uses information technology, namely web and mobile-based applications that are connected to the internet network, so people no longer need to come to the store first to sell and buy goods. In this final project, it will discuss the design of a mobile application-based Davinci Acoustic Medan store sales and inventory application by facilitating customer registration, ordering information, payment confirmation and stock checking.

Abstract

Application is an indispensable necessity at this time. A company or agency requires the role of information technology in terms of data management, one of which is the management of records. Archive is a recording of activities or events in various forms and media in accordance with the development of information and communication technology created and received by state institutions, regional governments, educational institutions, companies, political organizations and others that support the smooth operation of a company or agency. Information technology systems are needed to speed up the work process, reduce material waste, facilitate management so that archived data is well and regularly maintained in a system, and when data is needed can be found easily and quickly. With the development of increasingly sophisticated technology in the current era of globalization, we need a system that can facilitate all problems. The archiving problem can be overcome by having an application that can be used by the case administrator. Application for archiving that can be reached anywhere while being needed by the case administrator. The application can also make it easier to find data that is needed. At this writing will also explain the stages of research, starting from the analysis process, planning and implementing.

Abstract

The pandemic, which is happening all over the world, forces higher education institutions to conduct their learning process online. Lecturers are required to be ready to use technology nowadays and able to use e-learning as interesting effectively as possible, in order to increase the motivation and learning outcomes of students. There are several e-learning systems available on the internet that could be used for teaching. Unfortunately, those systems are not suitable for some reasons. The main reason is that each higher education institution has its own unique learning process. There is an e-learning system called “MyClassRoom” which is designed based on the context of the user. The results were made using a Likert scale. From the measurement results it can be concluded that the application which is used as e-learning in the study program has usability value and is very good.

Abstract

Humans are able to carry out face recognition in everyday of life, where faces are a unique identity, are a complex problem in machine learning. Face recognition technology is also very useful in various fields today, such as access control, attendance and security systems. This study aims to obtain a level of accuracy in classifying image data with a combination of algorithm haar-like feature with convolutional neural network, where haar-like feature is used to detect faces in image data, while convolutional neural network is used for face recognition. Image data using in this study, Japanes Female Facial Expression (JAFFE), the experimental results give the best accuracy results at the 500 epoch of 95.14% and a running time of 1.52 seconds.

Abstract

One technique to improve connection stability in a network is to use more than one Internet Service Provider (ISP). To make this possible, a load balancer is needed. Examples of load balancers are Per Connection Classifier (PCC) and Equal Cost Multi-Path (ECMP). However, both load balancers have drawbacks, where if there is an overload in one ISP line resulting in an imbalance in bandwidth usage, the two load balancers divert all traffic to another ISP. This study analyzes the performance of several load balancing techniques when applied to Mikrotik to maximize traffic flow with dual lanes. The experiment was carried out by applying the PCC, ECMP load balancer on the internet network. The independent parameters observed were throughput, jitter, and delay. The Fuzzy method will choose the ISP that will forward the data with the optimum bandwidth, because this method takes into account the amount of data that will be sent to the gateway through the ISP. The results of the measurement of Quality Of Service (QoS) network performance parameters such as throughput, jitter and delay with PCC and ECMP methods between ISP1 and ISP2 are throughput 22113.58 Kbps, Jitter 63.79 ms, delay 0.000578 ms. While in Utami's research (2017) with the PCC method, measuring Throughput is 2.9 Kbps, Delay is 135.25 ms and Jitter is 65.25 ms.

Abstract

ISPA disease is one of the most common types of disease suffered in Aceh. The method used in this research is fuzzy c means algorithm to cluster the spread of ISPA disease areas in Aceh Utara. The data used is the data on patients with ISPA in 2021 obtained from Cut Meutia General Hospital and Arun Hospital. The attributes used consist of the patient's age, patient's address, patient's gender and the type of ISPA the patient suffered. In this research only focused on 3 types of ISPA, namely Pneumonia, Bronchitis and ISPA. The existing data will then be grouped into 3 clusters, namely low cluster, medium cluster and high cluster. The results of clustering the spread of ISPA in Aceh Utara show that the highest case is in Dewantara District, the medium cluster are Muara Batu, Nisam, Nisam Antara, Sawang, and Tanah Jambo Aye Districts, and the low cluster is Baktiya, Baktiya Barat, Banda Baro, Cot Girek, Geureudong Pase, Kuta Makmur, Langkahan, Lapang, Lhoksukon, Matang Kuli, Meurah Mulia, Nibong, Paya Bakong, Pirak Timu, Samudera, Seunudon, Simpang Keramat, Syamtalira Aron, Syamtalira Bayu, Tanah Luas and Tanah Pasir Districts. With the results of this clustering, it is expected that the provision of drug stocks for ISPA will be prioritized in cluster areas with the highest spread rates.

Abstract

To improve company performance, employees are one of the important elements in this regard, especially in the placement of new employees. The procedure for placing new employees in this case is carried out with Fuzzy Logic. The input parameters used are IQ Test, Psychological Test and Academic Test. To express the preferences of decision makers on the most desirable alternatives, it can be done by transforming the preference format of Utility Vectors to Fuzzy Preference Relation. Furthermore, choosing the SAW method to determine the weight value for each attribute, which is continued with the ranking process to select the best alternative, in this case it is a suitable alternative to determine the employee's work position in accordance with predetermined criteria. With this method, it is hoped that the assessment will be more precise and accurate because it is based on predetermined criteria and weights.

Abstract

The learning and teaching process is an important activity to achieve learning objectives. However, in practice it often happens that the process does not run as it should. One important component in the learning and teaching process is attendance. The discipline of student attendance shows that they have a good interest in their studies and needs to be recorded so that attendance data is stored and presented properly. Manual attendance recording is a problem of effectiveness and efficiency. This research proposes a system for monitoring student attendance using mobile applications. The results of the study show that it is easier and faster for students to take attendance and easier for teachers to recap student attendance and also become the basis for decision making when giving final grades.
