Abstract

This community service activity is motivated by the lack of clean water in the East Sumba district, NTT Province. The need for clean water is one of the basic needs that must be met, it will have an impact on the level of public health if their needs are not fulfilled. There are problems including: (a) the stunting rate of the East Simba community is quite high, which is around 30% of the number of population; (b) the level of public health that is susceptible to disease; (c) community immunity is low. The purpose of this activity is to discuss efforts to overcome the difficulty of clean water which has been the main problem in East Sumba. This service uses a training approach to hydram pump installation, while the target of implementation is the community around East Sumba district who are in areas where clean water is difficult. The results of the implementation of this service are as follows: (1) overcoming a number of 5,040 people who have had problems with clean water; (2) the decline in stunting rates to 29%; (3) water can also be used for farming with a drip pattern for vegetable crops.

Abstract

The Integration Training of Taruna Wreda Nusantara is a form of Community Service (PkM) as an implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education which is an academic activity that must be carried out by all universities including the Military Academy in accordance with the National Higher Education Standards. The purpose of the Taruna Wreda Nusantara Integration Exercise is to utilize science and technology to improve people's welfare and educate the nation's life and increase the nation's competitiveness. Thus the implementation of the Taruna Wreda Nusantara Integration Exercise is expected to be carried out continuously. This service uses a community social activity approach by building public facilities, providing socialization of national insight for the community where the service is held and counseling on the cultivation of the value of struggle. The method used is Karya bhakti and socialization to the community around Lombok, NTB for 35 days. With this service activity, community difficulties can be overcome and the economy can increase

Abstract

One of the assets of the nation or state is children who are physically and mentally healthy, because it is in their hands that the fate of this nation will be determined. Likewise with the social environment which is a community environment, this community environment has individual interactions with other individuals. So that the state of society will have a certain influence on individual development. Bendo Village, Nogosari District, Boyolali Regency with a population of 60,745. people, where most of their livelihoods are farmers, then the number of toddlers is 82 people and mothers of toddlers are 68 people. Thus, the community really needs an understanding of Posyandu activities and psychological counseling for mothers and toddlers about the importance of understanding children's behavior. This is the background in community service activities in Bendo village, Nogosari sub-district, Boyolali district, Central Java. Results that have been felt by the community; understand child behavior. Children under five years old (toddlers) are a period of formation of the basic human personality, sensing abilities, thinking, language and speaking skills, social behavior and so on. Parents can understand that the most prominent development is motor skills, because motor development is closely related to physical activities.

Problems that arise on a number of regions in Indonesia, still many found area included _ category left behind in well- being , left behind in development knowledge knowledge and technology as well as left behind in empower source power natural nor source power the human . This thing will impact on level well-being as well as progress something area . Source power man said quality when have knowledge , skills and ability . Growong is wrong one area or the area in the district Combat districts Magelang which has contour mountains with eye livelihood farmer and partially laborer farmer . Besides that , there is a number of plantation plant hard like sengon , teak , and pine . Source power people in the village Growong not yet fully said quality , thing this showed with still a lot land left blank _ abandoned as well as a lot waste unfinished rice _ utilized with good . See a number of problem that , Lecturer Akmil choose village Growong as area Devotion to Public as form implementation of the Tri Dharma College high . Service Team to Public this aim for increase quality source power man and increase well-being house ladder with holding hands a number of agency government related , such as District Plantation Office Magelang , and government local as owner region . Efforts made _ team Devotion to Public use method counseling and demonstration next practice by straight away . Method counseling conducted as supplies theory and practice direct through activity utilization plant empon-empon / herbal rhizome ( ginger , lemongrass , turmeric ) through system intercropping and _ making fertilizer compost made from base husk rice. From result Devotion to Public by direct could seen from big enthusiastic inhabitant in follow counseling nor practice . Realization a number of demolot ( pilot model plot plant empon-empon ) and realization Skills inhabitant utilise waste paddy Becomes useful stuff _ as well as produce through making fertilizer compost . Hope from team Devotion to Public activity this will Keep going sustainable with professionally through _ a number of group that has there is like Group farmer and Bumdes ( Badan Usaha Milik Desa ) which on moment implementation devotion the building new built .

Abstract

The Integration Training of Taruna Wreda (Latsitarda) is a momentum to build synergy between the TNI, Polri and the community. Latsitarda Nusantara is a means to foster a spirit of struggle, love for the homeland and the spirit of integration of cadets and students to build synergy and solidity of the TNI, Polri and the community. Activities carried out in this Latsitarda include physical and non-physical activities. These non-physical activities include promotion, training, counseling provided to the community and school children. The existence of moral degradation which is mostly carried out by millennials, students are marked by the erosion of polite ethics, hedonistic lifestyles, not understanding the nation's history, not knowing the nation's warrior heroes, and others. Therefore, national insight is a perspective that is surrounded by a sense of nationality, nationalism, and the spirit of nationalism in an effort to realize national ideals. The main understanding of the national insight is the awareness to unite as a nation, the existence of a common history and future interests as the glue that unites as well as provides the basis for national identity. Responding to this problem, it is necessary to rebuild the spirit of nationalism, be willing to sacrifice, awareness, unity and integrity as well as a sense of love for the homeland so that togetherness and shared responsibility grow in anticipating every form of threat. Through community service activities with the target of this school, it is hoped that the younger generation at SMA Negeri 1 Bayan Lombok Utara will cultivate an attitude of "Aku Cinta Tanah Air"

Abstract

In line with the increasingly complex challenges and problems faced by our Nation, the role of the Military Academy will be increasingly important in the context of supporting National integration. The initiative to initiate, discuss, and design programs that are commensurate and in line with these expectations, the Military Academy implements the Praja Bhakti program in Mangli, Kaliangkrik District, Magelang Regency, which is based on community service and based on the application of knowledge to refresh and increase social responsibility. This service aims to see community participation in Praja Bhakti activities in strengthening the integration of the nation. Community participation is quite high in an integrated manner through conventional information systems and communication infrastructure in Mangli Village. Praja Bhakti activities have a positive impact on people's understanding of the Indonesia’s Army and the Military Academy. The tangible form is strengthening the integration of the Indonesia’s Army and the Mangli Village People as an embryo of strengthening national integration which leads to strengthening national resilience and defense in the context of rural areas

Abstract

The number of pre-prosperous families in Kalisari subdistrict Tempuran, Magelang regency is still many, there is a strong fact that unemployment is the main factor.Akmil, especially the Defense Mechanical Engineering Study Program, wants to take part in overcoming these problems by providing special skills training to the people of the village,so that they can provide skills that allow them to obtain jobs that are in accordance with the skills obtained from the training.Laboratory TeknikMesin Akmil defense has a fairly complete welding equipment, supported by experienced technicians and instructors can be used to support training programs especially in the field of basic level welding. The basic level welding training Program has been successfully carried out in 2017, 2018,2019, and 2020 with a very positive response from the participants who directly benefited from this training. The skill level obtained in basic welding training includes, arc ignition, 1G and 1F horizontal position welding, security, equipment/clothing and eye protection. The training in 2020 was attended by 11 participants. So that in total from the first batch of 2017 to 2020 there were 41 trainees who had participated.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to provide state defense counseling to SMPN 11 and 13 Magelang students, with the hope of increasing a sense of nationalism among students. Counseling is carried out using lecture, discussion, and simulation methods. The results of this activity show that students gain a better understanding of the importance of defending the country and a sense of nationalism, and are also able to apply these values in everyday life.

Abstract

Research on people's perceptions is needed as a way that can be used to control and evaluate the performance of village officials. The method used in this study is qualitative with data sources through interviews conducted with village heads, village officials, community leaders, religious leaders and the people of Ngadirejo Village. The results of this study are first, the perception of the Ngadirejo village community towards apparatus performance is more influenced by the characteristics of people who respond to stimuli and experiences from the community when services are provided from village apparatus. details of the problems that exist in the community from the old village apparatus, lack of work ethic of village government officials/equipment, not yet available good computers and printers are not available, lack of office transportation, low human resources lack of irrigation that functions properly, finance village which is still very lacking. Meanwhile, what comes from the opinion of the community is that there is an internal conflict between village officials, not being on time in carrying out their duties, village officials lack discipline in carrying out their duties, lack of responsibility and sincerity in carrying out their duties. Third, the driving factor for the performance of village officials is young people. and productive people in Ngadirejo village, fertile land, there is training from the government to the community

Abstract

In this OJS management mentoring and training activity at the Akademi Militer Magelang (Akmil) as a collaborative service activity between the Politeknik Pariwisata Batam and the Akmil. The target achievement of this activity is able to create a means of publishing scientific papers from the results of OJS-based research and service. This journal uses the V.3.3 type of PKP. So far the Military Academy itself has had a journal to publish the results of research and dedication of lecturers and students in printed form since 2011. Where the means of publication from 2011 to mid-2022 are Jurnal Teknik Sipil Pertahanan, Elektrosista, Mekanikasista, Mahatvavirya, Tidar Bakti, Adhitakarya Akademi Militer, Dwija Kusuma, Bunga Rampai Akademi Militer and Prosiding Seminar Nasional Akademi Militer. All of these journals which are means of publication are the objects of community service activities through mentoring and training. In this activity, the servant collaborated between the Akmil institution and the Batam Tourism Polytechnic, the method of service activities was carried out online as supported by the use of a live meeting-based information system to accelerate finding solutions and the priority scale of OJS-based publication journals was at Akmil. The method approach used is lectures, role play and demonstrative as well as direct practice in live meetings using zoom meetings that have been scheduled regularly and in a structured manner. The results obtained are participants are able to register at OJS as writers, can submit articles, then become part of the editorial board and can play a role in the regular and measurable OJS management process before the articles are published until the articles will be published by OJS. The limitations of long distances, time and instruments used during mentoring activities for community service activities can be minimized with the support of internet access technology that is quite good, the enthusiasm of the activity participants and a family atmosphere to jointly advance the Akmil in the consistency of research publications and community service using journals based OJS at Akmil. In the end all OJS in Akmil will be accredited in the National Journal Level, even indexed at the international level.
