Abstract

The strategy of sea transportation in an effort to reduce logistics costs from the tugboat side so as to produce logistics costs that are able to create an increase in the competitiveness of national products. One of a series of services at the port, the implementation of pilotage services is one that is important to get attention because it is the first and last service provided to ships that will visit and depart from the port. Good management of tugboat services will help speed up ship services, maintain order, safety and security in the port environment, because when we talk about waiting time, we are talking about excess costs that will be incurred. This research is expected to see and learn about the loading and unloading system at PT. Putra Segara Abadi which focuses on what factors affect Waiting time which results in additional costs. The results showed that there was a positive and significant effect between Demurrage on Waiting Time (t count value of 2,013 > t table value of 1,98472), The results of the multiple linear regression equation showed that there was a positive and significant influence between Dwelling Time on Waiting Time (value t count of 2.289 > t table value of 1.98472), The results of the multiple linear regression equation indicate that there is a positive and significant influence between Human Resources on Waiting Time (t count value of 5.373 > t table value of 1.98472)

Abstract

Coal mining activities cannot be separated from the distribution of mining products. The distribution of coal in Kalimantan is currently still dominated by sea routes. Transportation of coal by sea using ships can maximize transportation because the amount transported is more and is considered to be cheaper and more effective. Integrated Tug Barge (ITB) is a barge propelled by specially configured tugboats. When the tug and barge are connected, they form a unit that functions as a ship. Integrated Tug Barge (ITB) can be an alternative choice compared to conventional ships of the same size. There are various variables that can affect the effectiveness of using ITB as an alternative to coal loading. In this study, three research variables will be analyzed, namely costs, transportation capacity and speed/cycle as independent variables and the potential for implementing ITB as the dependent variable. The purpose of this study was to analyze whether the positive influence individually between the independent variables cost, transport capacity and speed/cycle on the dependent variable, namely the potential for implementing ITB. In this study, the object taken was the employee of PT Bra Jaya Bersama.

Abstract

This design aims to design a smoke-less combustion device in a charcoal stove with a smoke concentration system which is expected to minimize the smoke generated from burning coconut shell charcoal. The design implementation was carried out in the workshop of the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, Maintenance and Repair of the Tanjungbalai Polytechnic. This tool has two tubes, the inner tube is in the form of a cylinder, the overall height is 930 mm, and the diameter is 480 mm with a reactor tube capacity of 17 liters, the coconut shell is 25 kg. The outer tube is cylindrical in shape, has a height of 1200 mm and a diameter of 560 mm. This heat conducting pipe is made of stainless which is inside the 2nd tube or inner tube, this pipe has a height of 380 mm and a width of 60 mm in diameter. This pipe also has 12 holes and 1 hole at the top.

Abstract

Dalam proyek konstruksi di Indonesia sebagian besar mengalami deviasi. Deviasi muncul karena adanya ketidaksesuaian antara pekerjaan yang ada dilapangan dengan kontrak yang telah tertuang. Dengan adanya permasalahan yang ada dilapangan oleh penyedia jasa yang tidak sesuai dengan kontrak awal menimbulkan kerugian. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data data Lembaga yang memiliki kewenangan terhadap permasalahan ini yaitu : PPK, BPK, dan Inspektorat daerah. Data didapatkan juga melalui kuisioner yang telah diisi oleh responden mengenai jenis deviasi, dampak deviasi, penyebab deviasi, dan pelaku deviasi. Pengolahan data dilakukan menggunakan metode Delphi untuk melakukan kuisioner dan metode Multiple Deviasi Analysis untuk pengolahan dan penggolongan data proyek yang mengalami deviasi. Hasil pengolahan data diperoleh hasil urutan jenis deviasi tertinggi hingga terendah, yaitu aspek teknis sebesar 85%, aspek hukum sebesar 10%, dan aspek administrasi sebesar 5%. Untuk dampak dari terjadinya deviasi diperoleh hasil urutan dari tertinggi hingga terendah , yaitu dari Scope sebesar 34%, Cost sebesar 31%, Time sebesar 22%, Quality sebesar 13% dan Safety sebesar 0%. Besaran proyek konstruksi terjadi deviasi menurut hasil pengolahan yaitu sebesar 5,51%. Untuk penyebab terjadinya deviasi berasal dari ketidaksesuaian pekerjaan volume yang dikerjakan dilapangan dengan kontrak yang telah tertuang. Pelaku utama dalam terjadinya deviasi adalah dari pihak kontraktor.

Abstract

Optical Transfer Network (OTN), one of the network topologies that can be taken is switching. Researchers on this occasion tried to plan a simulation on the Cisco Packet Tracer 8.2.1 application. This study aims to connect 1 router, 2 PCs and 2 laptops with optical fiber using optical Transfer Network (OTN). The method used is qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of literature studies and making a simulation on the Cisco Packet Tracer 8.2.1 application.

Abstract

In the construction of a building, it is necessary to install a good electrical installation and calculate the required electrical power to be used because this is the initial foundation for building operation so that it can be used by building users. used is still within normal limits or not. The method used by researchers is qualitative with data collection techniques from literature studies and observations. In the findings of the researchers' observations, the results obtained that the electricity demand for the CC FKIP UNTIRTA building is still within normal limits because its use is in accordance with the needs of each room.

Abstract

The welding business can be one of the business opportunities that can be developed in a business because the profits from the welding business are also very promising. The partners in this PKM activity are the students of the As Saadah Puri Serpong Islamic Boarding School as an alternative business opportunity to run a welding business. The welding business needs to be carried out with adequate knowledge and planning. This is so that the welding business can develop properly and experience an increase in terms of turnover and profit. Based on the results of observations and discussions with the two partners, there were several problems encountered both in the process of selecting locations, equipment, business design, execution processes and marketing. There is no adequate knowledge of welding technology and important things that must be considered in running a welding business, so it is considered necessary to provide training so that the welding business can be carried out with good planning and supervision. The solutions proposed or offered in this PKM activity are as follows: 1. Aspects of production: In accordance with the problems faced by the two partners, solutions for business aspects include: a. creating a guiding model regarding quality management both in the process of selecting tools and materials as well as in the welding process. B. By applying painting technology with paint that dries faster than ordinary paint. 2. Management aspect: The solution offered to partners is to provide business/business management training covering planning to control both in production and management aspects. 3. Aspects of customer convenience and satisfaction: The solution offered to partners is to provide a strategy for making customers comfortable and satisfied when performing welding services, so that customers do not only make fences and trellis once, but will come back and come back again because they feel comfortable and satisfied with service. They will become loyal customers, even customers who will attract other potential customers.

Abstract

Water for humans is of course a very important thing, moreover around 55-60 percent of the adult body weight consists of water. Therefore, we really need water for survival so that the body works optimally. Even though the earth has an abundant water content, in fact there is only about 0.3 percent that can be used by humans. the need for clean water is becoming scarce, therefore water purification becomes indispensable and becomes an alternative to the scarcity of clean water. PKM partners use well water as water for bathing, washing, watering and other purposes. Well water is pumped into the reservoir. Sometimes the well water is cloudy, so it's not comfortable when you want to use it. In simple terms, water purification functions to reduce turbidity, slightly eliminate or reduce odors, but has not been able to reduce the levels of pollutants in it to make it suitable for its final use, for example for consumption purposes such as drinking, cooking and others. The end result of using this simple water filter is water that looks clearer, making it suitable for use for bathing, washing, watering plants and other purposes.

This canal transport system in the wavelength domain provides high flexibility for network operators in meeting current and future needs.

Abstract

The electrical installation system is a process of distributing electrical power generated from an electric power source to electrical devices or loads. The main purpose of lighting electrical installations is to provide comfort in situations that require accuracy, lighting that has a high intensity is needed, while for jobs that require accuracy, there is no need to use lights that have a large brightness. The installation is divided into two parts, namely electrical power installation and lighting installation. Indoor installations are electrical installations inside buildings (including for lighting, terraces and others) while installations outside buildings are installations used to run electrical machines including here installations to service electric motors in factories, water pumps, etc., on machines.
