Abstract

Entrepreneurship can be done by all people, including students. Cultivating an entrepreneurial spirit in students in tertiary institutions can be started by fostering a desire and interest in entrepreneurship in students. This study aims to see the interest in entrepreneurship of students who have taken Entrepreneurship courses. The research design used a cross sectional study. Respondents in this study were students in several study programs at the University of Muhammadiyah Papua and the Physics study program at Cenderawasih University. The sampling technique used was proportionate random sampling with a total of 63 people. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis. The results showed that as many as (87%) of respondents stated that they had the desire to run a business in the future. The business interests were grouped based on the distribution of the most desirable including businesses in the Culinary sector (33%), livestock sector (22%), livestock sector (22%) agriculture (16%), tourism (6%), trade (6%), property (4%), services (4%), fisheries (3%), agribusiness (3%) ), and in digital business ventures (1%). Future research is expected to be more aimed at observing behavior and studying more about other aspects related to individual characteristics that are considered to shape student entrepreneurial behavior. Studies of the factors that influence student entrepreneurship interest found in this study need to be studied more deeply, so that a more comprehensive understanding of entrepreneurship can be obtained in students, especially in the field of business they are interested in.

Abstract

In complex business world, fraud is a serious threat that can damage a company's reputation, affect financial performance, and harm stakeholders. Therefore, it is important to implement an effective whistleblowing system mechanism as a means of prevention and early detection of fraud at PT XYZ Lombok. The whistleblowing system is a system that manages the reporting of all activities that are contrary to laws, rules and ethical standards that are reported confidentially, anonymously and independently. The purpose of this study is to describe how the whistleblowing system is implemented at PT XYZ Lombok. This research was conducted using a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection by researchers is by way of observation, interviews and documentation. The informants in this study were general managers, marketing department managers, production department managers, accounting department managers and tax department managers. The results of the study show that PT XYZ Lombok has taken positive steps by implementing a whistleblowing system to prevent fraud. The implementation of the whistleblowing system has implemented almost all indicators in accordance with the violation reporting guidelines issued by the National Committee on Governance Policy and has a significant impact on preventing fraud. Although there are still obstacles in reporting fraud, measures in each department such as the use of confidants, the role of managers, anonymous reporting, and incentives for whistleblowers have provided effective solutions. This can be proven by the absence of fraud cases or indications of fraud cases that occurred at PT XYZ Lombok.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the wife in helping the family economy in Timika City. The data collected in this study is qualitative data using a questionnaire. Data analysis in this study was carried out using Chi-Square K-Sample analysis. From the results of the analysis that has been carried out, it is found that the wife plays a significant role in helping the family economy in Timika City because if the wife also works, the family income increases

Abstract

This research aims to find out how big the prospects for salted fish processing businesses are in Mimika Regency using aspects of SWOT analysis and Return Cost Ratio analysis, using descriptive methods which aim to find out strategies and determine the level of profit obtained by salted fish processing entrepreneurs. Data collection techniques are observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The analytical tools used are SWOT analysis to determine business prospect strategies and Return Cost Ratio analysis to determine the profits from production in the salted fish processing business in Mimika Regency. Based on the research results, the prospects for the salted fish processing business are in the supporting strategy quadrant, namely mobilizing all forces to take advantage of all existing opportunities. Meanwhile, cost efficiency has more than one value, which means that the salted fish processing business in Mimika Regency is efficient or profitable to run.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the determining factors in people's decisions to invest in precious metals at PT Pegadaian. The research method used is descriptive research method. In this research, the data collection techniques used were observation and questionnaires. To find out the determining factors in people's decisions to invest in precious metals at PT Pegadaian in Timika City, the data analysis instrument used is confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). The results of this research show that of the four factors confirmed as determining factors in people's decisions to invest in precious metals at PT Pegadaian in the city of Timika and the dominant factor is psychological factors.

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems in employee performance, including lack of accuracy, lack of understanding of work, and the problem of employee delays when entering work. The purpose of conducting this research is to find out what kind of employee performance management of the Hajj and Umrah organizing section in Pasaman Barat district. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, because here the author decribes the performance of employess while working by collecting data obtained from interviews. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that performance management of employess in the hajj and umrah organizing section is good. Starting from work experience and knowledge possessed by employees obtained while studying so that the results obtained are in accordance with expectations, the organization of activities made by the organization went well because the employees had extensive knowledge and made neat strategies, the appreciation given also determines that the employee can do their job well, and the honest and fair attitude that exists in employees when they work makes the company run well.

Abstract

Speculation is a profit-making technique by only playing with risks. Speculators only use intuition and do not really use information in making decisions about buying or selling shares. This article explains and details how Islam views and reduces speculation in the Islamic capital market. The large amount of speculation is a result of margin trading expectations for the shares they own. In an effort to minimize these actions, of course a Minimum Holding Period (MHP) mechanism must be created, meaning that shares cannot easily be bought and sold on the spot. The rolling system of settlement is only justified when the shares being traded are actually owned by the seller.

Abstract

Revenue from the Food and Beverage Sub Sector decreased by 16.3% (a condition of a declining economic cycle). Seeing this situation, business companies have the opportunity to take drastic tax measures to reduce the tax costs to be paid through tax planning and tax debt adjustments. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of capital intensity, inventory intensity, profitability and leverage on tax aggressiveness in food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020-2022 period. This research method is a quantitative approach and validation method. This research method is a quantitative approach and validation method. The result of this study is capital intensity, laverage has no influence on tax aggressiveness either partially or simultaneously. While Inventory Intensity, Profitability has an influence on Tax Aggressiveness.

Abstract

The deed drawn up . Investment decision is one of the decisions made by the company to maximize shareholder wealth. A number of factors are worth analyzing to identify the main factors influencing investment decisions. The determinants of investment are Price Earning Ratio (PER), Price To Book Value (PBV), and Return On Equity (ROE). This study aims to determine the effect of PER, PBV and ROE values on stock investment decisions in the banking sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2017 to 2021. This research uses statistical quantitative methods and uses secondary data from the financial reports of related companies. The results of this study is escpected to be able to indicate that the Price Earning Ratio (PER), Price to Book Value (PBV), and Return On Equity (ROE) partially and simultaneously have a significant effect on the Average Return in making stock investment decisions.

Abstract

The phenomenon of employee performance, safety and motivation in Social Care organizations not meeting expectations. Low performance may be caused by a lack of training, skills development, this can include physical and non-physical problems such as workload stress, harassment, violence or discrimination. The purpose of this research is to identify the influence of organizational culture in Social Care organizations on employee performance, safety and motivation in the workplace. This research method is a convenience sampling technique and data analysis is carried out using descriptive statistical techniques. By involving 115 employees in the Social Care organization. From the results of this research data analysis, it shows that the influence of performance, safety and employee motivation has a significant impact on organizational culture in Social Care.
