Abstract

This research aims to (1) describe agricultural modernization in farming communities in Arokke Hamlet, Lili Riattang Village, Lappariaja District, Bone Regency. (2) to describe the impact of agricultural modernization on social changes in farming communities in Arokke Hamlet, Lili Riattang Village, Lappariaja District, Bone Regency. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The data collection process carried out was (1) Observation (2) Interview (3) Documentation. To more easily understand the events being studied, the author uses Talcot Parsons' Functionalism theory approach. The research results show that (1) The development of agricultural modernization in the farming community in Arokke Hamlet, Liliriattang Village is a change in agricultural procedures from traditional to more advanced or modern. Agricultural modernization itself is considered more practical, faster, and makes it easier for farmers to cultivate agricultural land from the process of cultivating rice fields to the harvesting stage. The modernization of agricultural farming in the farming community in Arokke Hamlet, Liliriattang Village is: (a) the values of modernization are the attitude of openness of the farming community towards the changes that occur. (b) agricultural organizations, namely the formation of farmer groups. (c) agricultural technology, based on research results, a form of modernization in agricultural technology is the use of agricultural tools with advanced technology. (d) community knowledge in the use of agricultural technology, agricultural modernization has good potential and opportunities for progress in the agricultural sector, but this potential must be accompanied by knowledge about agricultural modernization so that people are able to manage their agriculture well so that it has an impact on maximum final results. (2) The impact of agricultural modernization on social changes in the farming community in Arokke Hamlet, Liliriattang Village. This research shows that agricultural modernization has brought significant changes to farmers. Changes in the agricultural sector include: (a) an increase in agricultural production. (b) changes in social structure. (c) agricultural modernization also has an impact on the environment. (d) agricultural modernization causes changes in culture and values in society. (e) agricultural modernization has a positive impact on improving the community's economy.

Abstract

This research study was conducted to reveal the role of character education in creating or giving birth to a good generation of Indonesians, especially in formal educational institutions. The research method used in this study is to use literature research by using some scientific literature as reference material and also using self-reflection methods according to the knowledge and experience of researchers who are used as sources for this research study. The results of this study illustrate that character education is very important in shaping and making a better generation of Indonesians

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze how and what Indonesian education was like in ancient times, Japanese colonial, Dutch colonial, movement, development and reform. The results of this research are that the history of education in Indonesia does not only occur in one period, but as the development of the era of education in Indonesia has changed from time to time. Abstract

The Javanese people or more precisely the Javanese people, in cultural anthropology, are people who in their simple lives use the Javanese language with various dialects for generations. The Javanese people are those who live in the areas of Central Java and East Java, and they come from both regions. This dynamism is the belief that what they have built is the result of adaptation to struggle with nature. This Javanese culture is continuously maintained by the nobility and the nobility or Javanese intellectuals. The two cultures have their own characteristics. The peasant culture living in the countryside is a small tradition that is still dominated by the oral tradition, while the aristocratic culture has developed a tradition of writing by utilizing Hindu Buddhist religious literature. Java is Sufi Islam, namely Islam which is easily accepted and absorbed into Javanese syncreticism. And of course To me, the Sufi Islam that Peacpck meant was none other than Islam spread by walisogo figures. Islam is the source and values ​​of shari'a law. Prior to Hinduism and Buddhism, prehistoric Javanese society had embraced beliefs that matched animism and dynamism. People's view of life is directed towards the formation of a numinous unity between the real world, society and the supernatural realm which is considered sacred. Hindu-Buddhist influences in Javanese society are expansive. alone had an effect on the religious system. Scholars who understood Sanskrit were finally able to process Hindu-Buddhist letters to write Javanese.

Abstract

This article discusses Turkey which has developed rapidly for hundreds of years. Although the majority of the population is Muslim, Turkey has developed into a republic with a secular democracy. The history of the development of Islam in Turkey has made a country that constructs Islam as a rational religion. The first period begins with the establishment of the Ottoman empire, the second period is marked by the restoration of the empire, the third period is the ability of the Ottomans to defend their territory, the fourth period the empire subsides then progresses, the fifth period is the rise of Turkish culture and becomes a republic not based on empire, caliphate and dynasty.

Abstract

This paper aims to find out the history or background of the Oslo agreement, the direction of policies and the efforts made in the peace of both parties and the results of the Oslo agreement. The results obtained by the author regarding the Oslo agreement are that the Oslo agreement occurred in 1993 against the background of land disputes in the West Bank and the Gaza Peninsula. Where the Israeli side asked Palestine to be officially recognized as the state of Israel. Meanwhile, Palestine asked to establish authority/self-government (occupied territory) in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, but the relationship between the two sides continued to be damaged by the prolonged conflict, which resulted in losses for the surrounding population. So there was a negotiation for peace called the Oslo agreement. The Oslo Agreement is one of the important peace processes between Israel and Palestine that aims to resolve the prevailing conflict.

Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to discuss Islamic education in the modernization era of Egypt. This paper concludes that modernization in Egypt began with the arrival of Napoleon Bonaparte in Alexandria in Egypt on July 2, 1798 M. Napoleon's expedition to Egypt besides bringing a strong army also brought scientists with a set of scientific equipment to conduct research, see progress in science and technology In France, this provided inspiration for Egyptian figures to make changes, one of the popular figures as Islamic renewal in Egypt was Muhammad Ali Pasha and Jamaludin Al-Afghani. The strategy for reforming Islamic education carried out by a number of reformers in Egypt is as follows: Establishing the ministry of education and school education institutions, Sending Egyptian students to study in the West, Expanding access to education, Organizing the system and structure of educational institutions, Integrating the educational curriculum, Creating new innovations in educational methods.

Abstract

This paper aims to examine the Arab Spring phenomenon in the Middle East and explain the triggering factors of conflict with the impact of the Arab Spring phenomenon that occurred in the Middle East, namely in the political crisis. Democracy is a freedom for the people to express opinions and directly elect government leaders. People in Arab and Middle Eastern countries believe that democracy is a way to prevent the appearance of authoritarian power in Middle Eastern countries.

Abstract

The study wants to assess the factors that affect depression and suicidal tendencies among the students of Shahjalal University of science and technology and MC College, Sylhet. For collecting data and questionnaire method was followed. The researcher selected 50 samples from both of these institutions. In this study, a mixed research approach has been followed. The study disclosed that among the respondents, 90% had an idea about depression, and 90% got depression once in their lifetime. They suffered from major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, and premenstrual dysphoric disorder, etc. and suffered from bipolar disorder. Depression has an adverse effect on student's academic life. Besides, 72% said that they need more consciousness about their depression. The study also revealed that 8% are also addicted to different drugs and alcohol. The study further revealed that 64% thought that the severity of depression could lead someone to commit suicide and 28% said that they thought about suicide during their depression period. The study also recommended that one should pass their time doing activities that can help reduce stress. In their leisure time, they can gossip with their friends, and sharing their feeling with good friends can be another solution to anxiety. The study further added that if they failed, they might commit suicide at a severe level of their depression.

Abstract

The relationship between fiscal policy and economic growth has attracted a great deal of attention in recent years. The growth experience of several countries during the last decades has generated a growing strand of theoretical and empirical literature trying to explain these events. Although one could argue that economic growth and fiscal policy influence each other. The aim of this paper is to review the research work conducted on fiscal policies and economic growth, noting that there are three tools of fiscal policy; the first type is government expenditure, the second type is taxation, and the third type is debts. In addition, according to previous research, the relationship between fiscal policy and economic growth is not clear and consistent, where in some cases a positive relationship, while in others it may be a negative relationship. In this paper, we will discuss the concept of fiscal policies, economic growth, and the relationship between those two variables through some of the previous research.
