Abstract

In this study, weeds in oil palm plantations that produce, including Nephrolepis biserrata, have different resistance to single or combination herbicides, with a mixed herbicide of glyphosate 480 sl and paraquat is expected to control fern weeds (Nephrolepis biserrata) more effectively and efficiently than singly. carried out using a non-factorial randomized block design (RAK) with 3 treatments, namely, D0: Babat D1: glyphosate herbicide 480 sl dose 30 ml 5 liter water volume, D2: paraquat herbicide 25 ml 5 liter water volume, D3: glyphosate herbicide 480 sl + herbicide paraquat at a dose of 20 ml with a volume of 5 liters of water added with mechanical treatment repeated 4 times. Observation parameters in this study were weed mortality rate, leaf color poisoning rate and natality. The results showed that the best treatment was to use the herbicide paraquat (25 ml volume of water 5 liters) on day 13 the weeds had died, while in the herbicide treatment glyphosate 480 sl (30 ml volume of water 5 liters) suppressed weed death on day 19 in the herbicide treatment glyphosate 480 sl mixed with paraquat was able to suppress mortality on day 19 Keywords: plantation, weeds, herbicides

Abstract

Post-harvest technology for agricultural products has grown from time to time. One of the post-harvest technologies for agricultural products that is carried out is adding a coating material to the fruit to slow down evapotranspiration which increases the shelf life of papaya fruit. Papaya yields are increasing from time to time, this must be followed by handling the papaya harvest properly. This study aims to determine whether or not the effect of giving wax with oleic acid and tritenolamine solvents on the shelf life of papaya fruit and to determine the concentration of beeswax with oleic acid and tritenolamine solvents which are good for coating papaya fruit. The treatment parameters were wax coating with a concentration of 2%, 4%, 6% and control. Observations included fruit weight, fruit weight loss, fruit texture and organoleptic tests on fruit color, fruit aroma and fruit taste. The results showed that applying beeswax coating with oleic acid and tritenolamine solvent did not affect the shelf life of papaya fruit. The right concentration to coat the papaya fruit is wax coating with a concentration of 4%. Key words: Papaya fruit, wax coating, oleic acid, tritenolamine, shelf life, fruit quality

Abstract

The design used in this research is the design of random Group (RAK) Facoryl with 2 factors, thefirst factor of organic zpt (Z) with 4 levels namely: Z0 (control), Z1 (red onion extract), Z2 ( extractbamboo shoots), Z3 ( extract coconut water). Long immersion (P) with 3 levels, i.e. P1 (2 hours), p2(4 hours), p3 (6 hours). There are 12 combinations of treatments that are repeated 3 times resultingin 36 units of trial. The test result Data is analyzed by using the analysis of Variant (ANOVA) andcontinued with real difference test honestly (BNJ). The parameters observed in this study were:height buds, number of shoots, number of leaves and the length of the roots. The results showed that the administration of ZPT organic and long immersion gave a noticeable effect on all parameters. Intraction treatment gives a noticeable effect on the length of the parameters of the roots on observation 8 weeks after planting.

Abstract

Soybeans continue to increase linearly from year to year, but the realized results cannot meet the demand. This study aims to determine the effect of oil palm empty fruit bunch ash on soybean plant growth (Glycine max L.). This research was conducted in the village of Aek hitetoras, Marbau sub-district, North Labuhanbatu district, North Sumatra. This research was conducted from April to June 2021. The research design used was a non-factorial randomized block design (RAK) with 4 treatments, namely J0: (Empty bunches of ash 0 grams/plant). J1 : (Empty bunches of oil palm ash 300 grams/plant). J2 : (Empty bunches of oil palm ash 600 grams/plant). J3 : (Empty oil palm bunch ash 900 grams/plant). Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, leaf width, stem diameter. The data were analyzed using the average test with the level of ash of empty fruit bunches of oil palm. The results showed that the best treatment was using the J3 treatment (900 grams/plant of oil palm empty fruit bunch ash). Keywords: soybean, growth, jangkos ash

Abstract

The effect of the dosage of NPK Phonska 15-15-15 on the superior eggplant (Solanum Melongena L). This research was conducted at the Mangga Bawah Junction in the Desert. This research will be carried out from April to June 2020. The method used is the average height of the eggplant plants in NPK Phonska 15-15-15 fertilizer treatment. It can be seen that the highest value and the lowest value for eggplant plants aged 5 weeks is the highest value at P2 of 56 cm and the lowest value at P0 is 35 cm. The average of the number of branches of eggplant in NPK Phonska 15-15-15 treatment can be seen the highest value and the lowest value in the 5 week old eggplant plant, namely the highest value at P3 of 6 stalks and the lowest value at P0 of 1 stalk. The average weight of the eggplant plant showed that the results of the average difference test from the height of the eggplant plant in the NPK Phonska 15-15-15 treatment can be seen that the highest value and the lowest value in the eggplant plant were the highest value at P3 of 4.20 cm and the value the lowest at P0 of 1.30cm Key words: NPK Phonska 15-15-15, Solanum melongena L.

Abstract

This research was carried out in the agricultural field of the University of Harbor. The research began from March to June sky research (Cucumis Mello L) to determine the effect of giving fertilizers and goats and cultivating land on the growth and production of melon sky rocket varieties (Cucumis Mello L). This study used a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RCBD) with 2 factors examined and repeated 3 times. Goat MANURE (K) fertilizer dosing factor consists of 3 levels, namely: K0 = No treatment, K1 = 1 kg / Plot and K2 = 2 kg / Plot. The inhalation factor (G) consists of 3 levels, namely G0 = Tanpaper treatment, G1 = 1cc / L water / plot and G2 = 2cc / L water / plot. The administration of goat manure significantly affects the observation of plant height, number of branches, fruit weight, number of plots and the weight of plots. The application of ZPT has a significant effect on the observation of plant height and number of branches but has no significant effect on observing the weight of fruit per plots, the number of plots and the weight of per seed. The interaction between goat manure and ZPT did not significantly affect all observations. Keywords:Goat Manure, ZPT, Melond

Abstract

Lemongrass (Cymbopogon nardus L.) better known as lemongrass or citronella grass or citronella grass is a type of grass from the order Gramiales which is typical of tropical areas of Asia. But this citronella plant is also a plantation crop that has the potential to be developed in Indonesia. And this research has been carried out in my home plantation area in February – April 2022. This study aims to find out the effect of fertilizing goat cage and soil on the growth and results of circular plants. The application of goat manure and soil 2:1 showed the best in increasing the number of tillers, root fresh weight, crown fresh weight, leaf fresh weight, root dry weight, shoot dry weight, plant height and number of leaf blades. then the second best results were followed by goat manure and 1:1 soil which was best in increasing the number of tillers, root fresh weight, leaf fresh weight, root dry weight, crown fresh weight, canopy dry weight, number of leaves and height. plants. Abstract

This study aims to: 1. Identifying the success of the PUAP program in Lingga Tiga Village, Bilah Hulu District. 2. Identifying the constraints and obstacles encountered in the implementation of the PUAP program. 3. Analyzing the amount of farmers' income after participating in PUAP compared to the income of farmers before joining PUAP. The study population was all agribusiness farmers who received PUAP funding assistance. Samples were taken as many as 80 random farmers to answer the problem of this study used descriptive analysis as well as statistical analysis with t test with the help of the SPSS program. The results of this study indicate that the success rate of the PUAP program in Gapoktan Sejahtera Bersama is high. The success rate is immediately up to 53%, seen from the Model Summary table. This shows that the income after the data is higher than the income before. The average income of agribusiness actors after participating in PUAP is Rp. 1.572,25 per month is greater than the income of agribusiness players before joining PUAP, which amounted to Rp. 816,00 per month. And can be seen in the Paired Samples Test Table is the main table of output that shows the results of the tests carried out. This can be seen from the significance value (2-tailed) in the table. The significance value (2-tailed) in this case sample is 0,000 (p <0.05). So that the results of income  before  and  after  having  experienced  a  significant  change  (meaning).  Based  on descriptive statistics before income and after income proved  after  income is higher.  In the implementation of the PUAP program in the Gapoktan Sejahtera Bersama Lingga Tiga Village, no significant obstacles were found.

Abstract

SADINAR POHAN : The Response of Farmer’s Basimbah Organic Fertilizer to the Growth of Upland Rice of Inpago 8 Varieties, supervised by Ibu NOVILDA ELIZABETH AMUSTAMU,S.,PT.M.Si and Bapak FITRA SYAWAL HARAHAP.SP.,M.Agr. This study aims to study the Response of Farmer’s Basimbah Organic Fertilizer to the Growth of Upland Rice of Inpago 8 Varieties. This research was conducted in the village of promise, Bilahbarat district, Labuhanbatu Regency from March 2021 to June 2021. The experimental method used wan non-factorial and 3 replications. The data obtained were analyzed using a variance test and continued with the Duncan distance test. The results showed that the application of farmer basimbah organic fertilizer at a dose of 5 g/polybaeng was able to increase plants aged 5-7 wap, plat heigt, number of tillers, root vilume. The response of the application of basimbah organic fertilizer has a significant effect on all parameters.Keywords : upland rice, organic fertilizer, inpago 8

Abstract

The cocoa plant (Theobroma cacao L.) is one of the commodities that continues to be developed in Indonesia, but its production is still low due to poor fertilization, due to an increase in the use of chemical fertilizers, the purpose of this research is to determine the effect of liquid organic fertilizer from goat urine and tofu liquid waste for the growth of cocoa seedlings. The experimental design in this research is a randomized block design with two factors, the first factor is goat urine consisting of 3 levels, namely 0, 20, 40 ml / polybag the second factor is tofu liquid waste consisting of 3 levels. Ie 0, 60, 80ml / polybag, each treatment is repeated 3 times. The results of the study showed that the administration of goat urine and tofu liquid waste affected the growth of cocoa seedlings, the provision of liquid organic fertilizer from goat urine and tofu liquid waste at a dose of 40 ml / polybag and 80 ml / polybag significantly affected the number of leaves, leaf width and stem diameter. , giving liquid organic fertilizer from goat urine and tofu liquid waste did not significantly affect plant height. In the parameters of the number of leaves and stem diameter, there is an intraction between the two factors. Keywords: cocoa, seedlings, liquid organic fertilizer
