Abstract

Drug rehabilitation in Bukit Doa Tuntung is one place for drug addicts to be rehabilitated and cured. The lack of delivery of health information and the process of healing time for addicts is still manual where family members must come to see and report is still in the form of paper in conveying the patient's health and the time process of the addict. The concept of CRM that is built is the notification of the patient's condition to the patient's family through the admin contact by using chat as well as the submission of complaints or questionnaires about patient services and can also be via sms notification for the family in the rehabilitation of Bukit Doa Tuntung. For this reason it is hoped that mobile technology that will be used in drug rehabilitation patient information services can later help users get health information easily and quickly.

Abstract

Plasmodium falciparum cause febrile illness and severe disease with multiple organ failure and death when treatment is delayed. Antipyretic treatment is standard, and inducing hypothermia has been proposed to protect the brain in cerebral malaria. Here, Singhaboot, et al. investigated the temperature dependence of asexual-stage parasite development and parasite multiplication in vitro. Plasmodium falciparum strain TM267 was incubated for 2 hours (short exposure) or 48 hours (long exposure) at different temperatures (32OC, 34OC, 35OC, 38OC, 39OC, and 40OC). The starting parasite developmental stage (ring, trophozoite, or schizont) varied between experiments. The parasite multiplication rate (PMR) was reduced under hyper- and hypothermic conditions; after continuous exposure, the mean PMR ± SD was 9.1 ± 1.2 at 37OC compared with 2.4 ± 1.8 at 32OC, 2.3 ± 0.4 at 34OC, and 0.4 ± 0.1 at 40OC (P < 0.01). Changes in PMR were not significant after 2-hour exposure at temperatures ranging from 32OC to 40OC. Morphological changes in parasite cytoplasm and nucleus could be observed after long exposure to low or high temperature. After 48-hour incubation, rosette formation (≥ 2 uninfected red blood cells bound to infected red blood cells) was decreased at 34OC or 39OC compared with that at 37OC. In conclusion, both hyper- and hypothermia reduce PMR and delay erythrocytic stage development of P. falciparum, subsequently reducing rosette formation.

Abstract

Shaheen Global Production is a company that sells computers. Based on the results of the study, researchers revealed several problems in the implementation of their business activities, namely, not achieving sales targets and a decline in profits in two periods, namely 2017 and 2018. These problems are caused, lack of willingness or desire in employees to find new subscriptions, employees pay less attention to follow up in terms of contacting customers.The purpose of the research is to find out the implementation of personal selling, to find out the condition of computer sales, to find out how much influence personal selling has on the achievement of computer sales, to find out the obstacles faced in the implementation of personal selling and what efforts are being made in overcoming these obstacles. The research method used is descriptive analysis. Data collection techniques carried out by library research and field research in the form of interviews, non- participant observation and questionnaire distribution. For data analysis used validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression, Sperman rank correlation coefficient, hypothesis test, and the coefficient of determination. Based on the data obtained from the results of the study through the calculation of the spearman rank correlation coefficient showed a relationship with a strong category, the correlation results obtained with a value of 0.621, as for the hypothesis testing conducted by researchers obtained for tcount> ttable ie 3,8006> 2,069 means Hi accepted and Ho is rejected, besides that the coefficient of determination is 38.56% and the remaining 61.44% is obtained.Barriers experienced by CV. Shaheen Global Production, which is an understanding of the products offered by employees is still very weak because almost most of the education status of employees is only limited to high school, while the products offered by many companies use IT terms like a technology company, regarding time management, where employees other than doing process prospecting or finding new customers to achieve sales targets on the other hand employees must make contact with customers to ensure customer satisfaction. Suggestions that researchers can point out are, companies should recruit employees who play an important role in personal selling activities, at least those who have experience in product marketing, especially experience in technology, so that communication skills have been mastered and companies only provide direction, companies must expand the area sales, in addition the company must increase the number of personnel so that profitability can increase every year.

Abstract

Teknologi informasi telah menjadi fasilitas utama bagi kegiatan-kegiatan suatu instansi, termasuk salah satunya pada Perusahaan Air Minum (PDAM) Tirta Malem Kabanjahe. Pada perusahaan ini harus memiliki perencanaan yang matang dan pengendalian yang efektif terhadap biaya yang akan dikeluarkan dalam kegiatan operasionalnya. Pengendalian biaya yang efektif membantu perusahaan dalam merencanakan biaya operasional sehingga realisasi biaya tidak melebihi dari anggaran yang di rencanakan. Pada perusahaan PDAM ini sudah memiliki banyak perencanaan biaya operasional dan sistem pengolahan biaya operasional. Namun, sistem yang sudah ada tersebut kurang optimal untuk meningkatkan biaya operasional PDAM kedepannya. Sistem pengolahan biaya operasional pada perusahaan ini sudah menggunakan sistem komputer yaitu Microsoft Office Excel dengan desain biasa. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan suatu aplikasi perencanaan biaya operasional yang dirancang untuk mempermudah dan dapat memberikan informasi laporan data dengan mudah. Pembuatan Aplikasi Perencanaan Biaya Operasional pada PDAM ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Visual Basic.Net, Microsoft Office Access. Hasil pembuatan aplikasi ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini dapat mempermudah kinerja yang dilakukan oleh pihak instansi.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find and analyze information system accounting sales to increase internal control sales in PT. Gunung Selamat Lestari Labuhanbatu Selatan in 2017-2018. The kind of data used in this research was secondary data. The data source of the document PT. Gunung Selamat Lestari Labuhanbatu Selatan of history that company, the structure of the organization picture and accounting sales information system. Technique analysis of the data used is the method descriptive. Based on the discussion of the results research known parts involved in sales in PT. Gunung Selamat Lestari Labuhanbatu Selatan is buyers, sales division, part KTU or administration, a part of the barn, part bookkeeping. Function related in accounting sales information system is a function sales, function the warehouse and function bookkeeping. Inform system Accounting information system sales to increase sales in PT. Gunung Selamat Lestari Labuhanbatu Selatan has not materialized effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the performance of cabbage marketing in the Subdistrict of Merdeka with the Subdistrict of Tigapanah, Karo District, North Sumatra Province. Determination of the study area was done purposively (intentionally), where the two regions were centers of cabbage production in Karo District, North Sumatra Province. The method for determining producer samples is quota sampling and traders are accidental sampling. Data analysis methods are tabulated according to the type, namely descriptive, marketing margins, farmer's share. The research was conducted in February-March 2018. The results showed: The cabbage marketing channels in Merdeka Subdistrict consisted of two channels while the Tigapanah Subdistrict consisted of three channels; cabbage marketing margins in Tigapanah Subdistrict are more efficient than Merdeka Subdistrict; the portion obtained by cabbage farmers (farmer’s share) in the Tigapanah Subdistrict is higher than Merdeka Subdistrict even though both are inefficient.

Abstract

Isolasi senyawa terpenoida yang terkandung di dalam daun tumbuhan Merambung (Vernonia arborea Buch-Ham.) telah dilakukan dengan cara ekstraksi maserasi dengan menggunakan pelarut metanol. Ekstrak metanol yang diperoleh dipekatkan dan diekstraksi partisi dengan n-heksan. Fraksi n-heksana dipekatkan dan dikromatografi kolom menggunakan fasa gerak CHCl3 :MeOH (80 : 20)v/v dan fasa diam Silika gel 40 (70-230 mesh ASTM). Senyawa yang telah dimurnikan diperoleh dalam bentuk gum berwarna cokelat 55 mg. Senyawa ini diidentifikasi dengan menggunakan spektroskopi Ultraungu-Tampak (UV-Vis, Spektroskopi Infra Merah (FT-IR), Spektrofotometer Resonansi Magnetik Inti Proton (1H-RMI) dan Spektrofotometer Resonansi Magnetik Inti Karbon (13C-RMI). Dari data hasil spektrum tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa senyawa tersebut adalah senyawa diterpenoida.
