Abstract

Salah satu kegiatan pada Program UPSUS PAJALE, yaitu pemberian bantuan benih jagung yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah Dinas Pertanian Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Bantuan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pendapatan petani jagung. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian yaitu menganalisis perbedaan produktivitas jagung, perbedaan pendapatan petani jagung sebelum dan sesudah adanya Program UPSUS PAJALE di Desa Suka Makmur Kecamatan Kutalimbaru Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Lokasi penelitian di Desa Suka Makmur, Kecamatan Kutalimbaru, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Metode penentuan sampel yaitu Simple Porposive Sampling sebanyak 30 responden. Metode analisis data yaitu dengan rumus produktivitas, pendapatan dan menggunakan uji beda rata-rata sepihak. Hasil penelitian yaitu ada perbedaan nyata antara produktivitas jagung sebelum dan sesudah adanya Program UPSUS PAJALE, dan ada perbedaan nyata antara pendapatan petani jagung sebelum dan sesudah adanya Program UPSUS PAJALE.

Abstract

The research background is due to the robusta coffee bean price fluctuation in Dairi District is affect by the oversupply, famine, and selling prices from outside traders. Therefore, a research was conducted to achieve several objectives which are : 1. to identify marketing channel, 2. to analyze total marketing cost, marketing margin and farmer’s share, and 3. to analyze efficiency of the marketing channel robusta coffee bean in Dairi District. The method of determining the area was purposive because Dairi Regency was a production center of robusta coffee bean in North Sumatera Province. The sampling method for farmers used purposive sampling as many as 45 farmers spread in three districts, namely Pegagan Hilir, Sumbul, and Sidikalang subdistricts. The sampling method for middleman used the snowball sampling as many as 22 persons. Based on the research conducted, we can conclude: 1) There are 3 marketing channels in robusta coffee bean in Dairi District; 2) As for total marketing cost, marketing margin and farmer’s share in Dairi District respectively are: Channel I, Rp 2.812,79/kg; Rp 5.775/kg, and 81,07%. Channel II, Rp 2.608,02/kg; Rp 4.453,78/kg, and 90,18%. Channel III, Rp 1.174,79/kg; Rp 0, and 100%. 3) The robusta coffee bean marketing channel in Dairi District for channel I - III are efficient (Ep < 50%).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the commodity of any fruits that become the base of each subdistrict in Karo Regency, what commodities have fast and competitive growth in each regency in Karo Regency, the commodity of fruits of any base become a priority to be developed in each sub-district in Karo Regency. The results showed that fruits commodity which became base in Karo Regency were avocado, orange, mango, sawo, durian, guava, papaya, banana, pineapple, passion fruit, rambutan, salak; Fruit commodities have rapid growth in Karo regency are: avocado, durian, banana, pineapple, papaya, passion fruit; Commodities of fruits that have competitiveness in Karo Regency are: bananas, avocados, pineapples, passion fruit, oranges; Fruit commodity base that become the main priority in Karo Regency based on a combination of the Location Quotient (LQ) approach, the Proportional Growth (PP) component and the Regional Share Growth (PPW) that is banana , avocado, pineapple, passion fruit. Abstract

Program kegiatan pembangunan desa melalui pembangunan irigasi yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah tingkat desa diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani. Tujuan dari penelitian yaitu: menguraikan perbedaan produktivitas gabah, perbedaan biaya produksi, serta perbedaan pendapatan sebelum dan sesudah pembangunan irigasi. Metode penentuan daerah yaitu purposive (sengaja) pada Desa Bakarang Batu berada di Kecamatan Sei Bamban, pada Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Metode penentuan sampel yaitu Simple Porposive Sampling sebanyak 30 responden. Metode analisis data yaitu dengan rumus produktivitas, total biaya dan pendapatan kemudian dianalisis dengan uji Paired sample t-tes. Hasil dari penelitian yaitu: Terdapat perbedaan signifikan dari produktivitas gabah sebelum dan setelah adanya program pembangunan irigasi, adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara biaya produksi sebelum dan sesudah adanya program pembangunan irigasi dan terdapat perbedaan signifikan dari pendapatan petani padi sawah sebelum dan setelah adanya program pembangunan pada irigasi.

Abstract

Kangkung hidroponik menjadi kangkung rendang merupakan kegiatan yang dapat meningkatkan nilai tambah, menghasilkan produk yang dapat dikonsumsi, serta menambah pendapatan dan keuntungan produsen.Tujuan penelitian untuk menguraikan apa saja tahapan pengolahan kangkung hidroponik menjadi kangukung rendang, menganalisis biaya produksi, penerimaan, dan pendapatan, menganalisis nilai tambah pengolahan kangkung hidroponik menjadi kangkung rendang, menganalisis apakah usaha pengolahan kangkung hidroponik menjadi kangkung rendang layak diusahakan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Jalan Bromo lorong Amal Medan Denai Kota Medan. Penentuan daerah penelitian dilakukan secara purposive, Metode pengambilan sampel secara sensus yaitu usaha Syifa Hidroponik dengan pengambilan data ulangan selama 2,5 bualan sebanyak 10 kali ulangan. Hasil penelitian: 1) Tahapan pengolahan kangkung hidroponik menjadi kangkung rendang yaitu: Penyediaan bahan baku kangkung hidroponik, kangkung dihaluskan, pengadonan kangkung, telur ayam, tepung beras dan garam, kangkung dikukus, kangkung didinginkan, dipotong-potong, digoreng, pemasakan bumbu rendang, pencampuran kangkung yang digoreng dengan bumbu rendang dan pemasaran. Total biaya pengolahan kangkung hidroponik menjadi kangkung rendang untuk sekali produksi sebesar Rp 545.291,83, penerimaan sebesar Rp 1.500.000,00, per sekali produksi dan pendapatan sebesar Rp 954.708,17 per sekali produksi. Nilai tambah yang dihasilkan dari pengolahan kangkung hidroponik menjadi kangkung rendang tergolong tinggi dengan rasio nilai tambah 75,31% > 50%.Usaha pengolahan kangkung hidroponik menjadi kangkung rending layak untuk diusahakan dengan nilai R/C rasio 2,75 > 1

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the performance of cabbage marketing in the Subdistrict of Merdeka with the Subdistrict of Tigapanah, Karo District, North Sumatra Province. Determination of the study area was done purposively (intentionally), where the two regions were centers of cabbage production in Karo District, North Sumatra Province. The method for determining producer samples is quota sampling and traders are accidental sampling. Data analysis methods are tabulated according to the type, namely descriptive, marketing margins, farmer's share. The research was conducted in February-March 2018. The results showed: The cabbage marketing channels in Merdeka Subdistrict consisted of two channels while the Tigapanah Subdistrict consisted of three channels; cabbage marketing margins in Tigapanah Subdistrict are more efficient than Merdeka Subdistrict; the portion obtained by cabbage farmers (farmer’s share) in the Tigapanah Subdistrict is higher than Merdeka Subdistrict even though both are inefficient.

Abstract

Village development activities through irrigation development carried out by the government, at the village level, are expected to increase the income of lowland rice farmers. The purpuse this research are analyzes productivity, cost differences, and differences in income before and after irrigation development. The method of determining the area is purposive, namely in Bakarang Batu Village, Sei Bamban District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, North Sumatra. The method of determining the sample is Simple Porposive Sampling as many as 30 respondents. Methods of data analysis, namely the formula for productivity, total costs and income then analyzed using the Paired sample t-test. The results of the study were: there was a significant difference between grain productivity before and after the irrigation development program, a significant difference between production costs before and after the irrigation development program and a significant difference between the income of paddy rice farmers before and after the irrigation development program.
