Abstract

This study aims to find out the Effect of Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction at Galang Post Office. The samples used in this study were customers of Galang Post Office, aged 16 years to 69 years, had used the services of Galang Post Office. The number of samples used based on the size of the population, then the number of samples can be as many as 55 people. The results of this study showed that free variables, namely Service Quality (X), affect Customer Satisfaction (Y) thatuses n Galang Post Office services. The results of this study showed that Quality of Service has an influence of 68.2%on Customer Satisfaction of Galang Post Office.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the Factors That Affect the Sales Volume of Traders in Tanjung Morawa Market. The samples used in this study were Tanjung Morawa Market Traders, aged 17 years or older, and were traders who owned businesses in tanjung morawa market. The number of samples is calculated using the formula slovin then obtained the number of samples as many as 244 people. The results of this study showed that free variables, namely Business Location, have a positive and significant effect on the Sales Volume of Tanjung Morawa market traders.

Abstract

Satisfaction in work will affect productivity which is expected by the leadership of STMIK Pelita Nusantara. For that, institutional leaders need to understand what must be done to create employee job satisfaction. STMIK Pelita Nusantara is engaged in education. From a preliminary study conducted at STMIK Pelita Nusantara, it shows that most employees generally feel dissatisfied with their work. This is shown from the attitude and behavior of employees at work, for example, the frequent absences of employees from work, often procrastinating on work that should be completed immediately, and more conversations among colleagues at work. The formulation of the problems in this study are: 1) How is the influence of work culture and incentives on job satisfaction of employees at STMIK Pelita Nusantara, 2) What factors influence the incentives for employees at STMIK Pelita Nusantara? While the hypotheses put forward in the study are: 1) Work culture and incentives have an effect on employee job satisfaction at STMIK Pelita Nusantara, 2) Company ability and willingness, work productivity, position positions, and education and work experience affect the incentives for employees in STMIK Pelita Nusantara.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work culture and leadership style on employee performance of Yanks & Brits. The research model uses a quantitative research model. The sample in this study were all employees of Yank & Brits Medan with a total of 21 employees. Data analysis using multiple linear regression test. The results showed that work culture (X1) has a significant value of 0.004 <0.05, which means that there is an influence between work culture on employee performance at the Yanks & Brits English Institute, and the results of the T test for the leadership style variable (X2) that the significant value is 0.000 <0.05. which means that there is an influence between work culture on employee performance at Yanks & Brits English Institute. Based on the results of the F test, it is known that the Sig value is 0.000 <0.05, so work culture and leadership style simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance at the Yanks & Brits English Institute. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion that has been presented, it can be concluded that all independent variables, namely work culture and leadership style simultaneously affect the employee performance variable by 51.0% while the remaining 49.0% is influenced by other variables not included in the model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) Does the quality of service affect patient satisfaction at Sari Mutiara Lubuk Pakam General Hospital? (2) Does the facility affect patient satisfaction at Sari Mutiara Lubuk Pakam General Hospital? (3) Does location affect patient satisfaction at Sari Mutiara Lubuk Pakam General Hospital? (4) Does the quality of service, facilities and location simultaneously affect patient satisfaction at Sari Mutiara Lubuk Pakam General Hospital?. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method. Meanwhile, data collection using questionnaires and documentation. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling technique. This study used a sample of 100 respondents. The instrument testing technique in this study is validity and reliability testing and hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression and classical assumption testing with SPSS version 20 software. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Service quality affects patient satisfaction at Sari Mutiara Lubuk Pakam Hospital, (2) facilities affect patient satisfaction at Sari Mutiara Lubuk Pakam Hospital, (3) location affects patient satisfaction at Sari Mutiara Lubuk Hospital Pakam, (4) service quality, facilities and location simultaneously influence patient satisfaction at Sari Mutiara Lubuk Pakam Hospital. And the results of this study also indicate that the variable that most influences patient satisfaction is the variable of service quality (X1).

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the influence of training and occupational health and safety (OHS) to work productivity of employees at PT. PP. London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk Branch office Medan. Type of this research is a quantitative research that was analyzed with multiple linear regression with SPSS Statistics 22. The data source is primary and secondary collected by using some techniques: observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation. The populations in this research is 115 person, while the samples amounted 54 correspondents which is obtained with the Slovin formula. The result of this research, based on partially and simultaneous test, proved that the training and occupational health and safety (OHS) have significant influence on work productivity of employees at PT. PP. London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk Branch Office Medan. Between the two, occupational health and safety (OHS) is the most dominant influence on work productivity of employees.

Abstract

Quantitative research is a process of finding knowledge using data in the form of numbers as a tool to analyze information about what you want to know. This study aims to determine how the influence of the work discipline of the Pagar Merbau I village office employees on the quality of service to the community in the village of Pagar Merbau I. This research is a descriptive study that relies on a questionnaire distributed to local residents who experience daily administrative services from employees. Pagar Merbau I Village Office, Pagar Merbau District. In processing the data, this research uses SPSS software to simplify calculations in order to obtain accurate and precise calculation results. This research is a research that does a simple regression test because there is only one independent variable and one dependent variable. This study took a sample of 100 local residents and were given a questionnaire of 10 statements. The results of this study reveal that there is a significant and positive influence of work discipline variables on service quality variables. The percentage of influence is 52%. This means that with the existing instruments, work discipline variables can explain the level or quality of public services that occur at the Pagar Merbau I village office, while 48% of the effect is generated by other factors.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the role of credit and promotion on the purchase of electronic furniture in the Metro Lubuk Pakam and to determine the dominant variable on the decision to purchase electronic furniture in the Metro Lubuk Pakam. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method while data collection uses the method of observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The sample used in this study were employees of the Metro Lubuk Pakam with a total sample of 60 people. The results of this study indicate that the independent variables, namely the Role of Credit and Promotion (X1), the Electronic and Furniture (Y1) factors, have a positive and significant effect on the decision to purchase electronic furniture in Metro Lubuk Pakam.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much the effect of discounting and service quality on sales of PT. Midi Utama Indonesia TBK Alfamidi branch Sm Raja 4 Medan. The data analysis technique used in this research is qualitative and quantitative analysis. The sample in this research, amounting to 50 people, namely the Consumer Alfamidi Sm Raja 4 Medan. The results of this study obtained the Multiple Regression equation Y = (2.535) + 0.166 X1 + 0.105 X2, where the constant coefficient (a) is 2.535, the regression coefficient value (X1) is 0.166 and the regression coefficient value (X2) is 0.105. The results of the validity test with a sample size of 50 and a value of rtabel 0.279., Of the 26 items, the lowest r table value was 0.285 but it was still declared valid because r table> rcount. And based on the results of the t hypothesis test on the effect of giving discounts on sales variables, the tcount value is obtained (10.553). And based on the results of the t hypothesis test on the effect of service quality on sales variables, it is obtained value_count (2.104). Because the value of t is greater than t table, the hypothesis is accepted. And based on the determination coefficient test (KD) or R Square (R2), it is known that the R Square value is 0.861 or 86.1%, while the remaining 13.9% is influenced by other variables not examined by this study. And based on the coefficient of determination test (KD) or Adjusted R Square (R2), it is known that the value of R Square is 0.854 or 85.4%, while the remaining 14.6% is influenced by other variables not examined by this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of village head leadership on community participation in village development in Keramat Gajah village. Leadership is a set of abilities and personality traits that can influence followers or subordinates to invite or obey their orders with self-awareness to achieve organizational goals. This type of research is quantitative research. The sample used in this study were residents of the Keramat Gajah Village. Number of Samples Using the Slovin formula quoted by Savilla in his book Sadarmayanti and Syarifudin Hidayat, the total sample size is 97 people from a population of 2,978 Kk. The technique used for data collection using a questionnaire (questionnaire). The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that the independent variable of Village Head Leadership has a positive and significant effect on community participation in Keramat Gajah Village. The contribution of the village head's leadership influence on community participation can be seen from the t value> t table with a calculated value of 2.083> 1.985 and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05.
