Abstract

This study aims at determining public opinion on village apparatus leadership communication used by the Village Apparatus in an effort to improve development in Kineppen Village, Munthe District, Kab. Karo. The research subjects were the Kineppen Village Community, Religious Leaders, Community Leaders and also the Village Apparatus themselves. The object of this research is Leadership Communication, especially Qualitarian Stlye Theory. The data processing uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the descriptive analysis show that from Public Opinion, the implementation of the leadership communication function is quite good, but weaknesses are still found in the Informative and Persuasive functions in an effort to increase development. And based on the Leadership Communication Theory, namely The Equalitarian Style which has an Indicator of Familiarity, public opinion feels quite close to the Village Apparatus who serve them at the Village Office, but the village head is considered less familiar with the residents. Indicators of Understanding/Openness, Community opinion about village apparatus is considered to be willing to pay attention to residents by accepting and responding to residents' complaints, both about the distribution of basic necessities, fertilizers for farmer groups, and others. However, the Village Head is considered to be less open and lack of two-way communication, causing obstacles in improving public services and increasing village development. Sociability indicator, in this field, the people of Kineppen Village are of the opinion that the Village Apparatus is quite flexible in fostering good relations with the village community, but their opinion about the Village Head is considered to be less sociable with the residents because they rarely want to socialize since serving as Kineppen Village Head.

Abstract

This research was conducted to see the effect of communication through Whatsapp groups to improve employee’s performance at PT. Smartphone Lenovo Medan. The approach applied in quantitative descriptive research. The sampling technique used is total sampling with a sample of 49 people. The research carried out shows that communication that occurs in the form of messages or information sent can arrive quickly without having to convey it to several people, but by notifying it in the company's whatsapp group all employees can read and find out the information provided so that they quickly get good results within the company. The existing performance of employees at PT. The Lenovo Medan smartphone is getting better because it is more helpful by using the whatsapp group. There is the influence of communication through the whatsapp group to improve the performance of employees at PT. The Lenovo Medan smartphone is 0.627, which means that the relationship is quite significant with the WhatsApp application because its use is very helpful in the process of delivering messages between employees, especially employees who have groups in it, making it easier to deliver messages.

Abstract

Public relations plays an important role in every institution because public relations is one of the strategies in shaping the company's image, both positive and negative images. In shaping the image of an institution, public relations usually has a broad relationship. This study aims at determining how the strategy of public relations communication and to find out how the barriers of public relations in the Department of Communication and Information of the Government of Simalungun Regency in shaping the image of government. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of this study indicate that the public relations communication strategy in the Department of Communication and Information of the Simalungun Regency Government is to carry out two communications, namely internal communication and external communication. Barriers to public relations in the Department of Communication and Information of the Simalungun Regency Government are inadequate resources, large costs and difficulties in creativity. To achieve the objectives of the Simalungun Regency Government's Communication and Information Office in shaping the image of the government, it requires hard work, high discipline, professional skills and expertise in the field of public relations.

Abstract

In today's modern world, the role of banking in advancing the economy of a country is very large. Almost all sectors that are associated with various financial activities always require bank services. Banking as a financial intermediary institution plays an important role in the national development process. Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection is also closely related, particularly in terms of legal protection for bank customers as consumers. 1999 concerning consumer protection, both savings agreements and credit agreements, bank customers are consumers who must obtain legal protection. Legal protection for customers should have been carried out at the pre-agreement stage until the implementation of the agreement. The issue of consumer protection is still an important issue today. Various cases of violations of consumer rights that have been going on for a long time need to be examined critically. The reason is, these violations have a very negative impact on self and consumer safety. The existence of legal protection for customers as consumers in the banking sector is urgent, because in fact the position between the parties is often unbalanced

Abstract

The development of Internet cannot be separated from the what is called new media. New media offers users to choose the appropriate information to use, control information, interactivity is the main concept of understanding new media, the emergence of virtual reality, virtual communities and virtual identities appear with the presence of new media. Currently there are games that are very addictive in society. namely Mobile Legends Game. Mobile legend players tend to be less concerned about their surroundings, sleep long, get information late and are lazy. This study uses a qualitative research method where the research method is based on the philosophy of postpositivism, which is used to examine the condition of natural objects, with the object of research being a phenomenon from playing mobile legend and how is the interpersonal communication of mobile legend players. The conclusion from the phenomenon of playing the Oline Mobile Legend game on interpersonal communication behavior of students of the Faculty of Economics, Darma Agung University. On the positive side, they get great satisfaction. While on the negative impact, they tend to lose track of time, forget assignments, forget to sleep more often and even tend not to feel sorry for sacrificing the materials they spend in order to meet their needs such as buying more packages to play games and to buy premium items in the mobile legend game. In addition, it has a negative impact in terms of communication or interpersonal communication relationships that eliminate empathy, because they like to give insults and blasphemy to fellow players and can be to non-players and with friends who do not play mobile legend even though they create intimacy with fellow mobile legend players and have a language which is understood only by the game player.

Abstract

This study aims at finding out the construction of editorial management in the world of news in managing citizen journalism and to analyze the construction process of editorial management in the world of news in managing citizen journalism. The method applied by the researcher is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, in which the researcher uses qualitative data analysis based on the results of interviews with informants or people who are directly related to this research. The findings in the field, this research states the existence of citizen journalism as a news reporter. modern journalism. It is emphasized that media journalism activities are no longer carried out by a journalist who has the profession of a journalist but a citizen or someone who wants to write news and is talented can also become a good journalist. Supported by sophisticated media and well packaged information make journalism activities more modern, citizen journalism is a reflection of society's expression in the future in the world of journalism. Currently, many people use camera applications and video recordings on their cell phones. Through this application, all the desired news can be obtained and delivered quickly without any interference from the media
