Abstract

This article explains how important evaluation is one of the components of education, especially in Arabic language education activities. In an education process, there are two fundamentals activities, they are learning and studying by the students and teaching by the teachers, these activities are needed to achieve the goals made in learning planning. This research’s purpose is to give an illustration about the implementation of blended learning especially when virtual learning is conducted. This research also uses qualitative measure about the method of case studying, in which the data are collected through interviews, observations and the study of documents. Based on the result of the research, the teachers prepare RPP, syllabus, face-to-face scheduling, learning resources and evaluation method in a form of a soft file during the planning process. The education process is performed by three steps which are first, main and last activity. The evaluations on the education are assignments giveaway, mid and final examinations. Unfortunately, during its implementation, teachers face some obstacles in it.

Abstract

This study aims to compare pictures in Bahasa Arab Textbook (Book A) and Ta’limullughah ‘Arabiyah Textbook (Book B). This research includes the type qualitative research. The author uses data collection instruments in the form of interviews and document studies to analyze two selected books. The data collected was analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques, and likert scale. The results of this study indicate that, first, Bahasa Arab Textbook has fewer photographic Pictures than Ta’limullughah ‘Arabiyah Textbook. Second, Ta’limullughah ‘Arabiyah Textbook has pictures in exercise and additional lessons while the Bahasa Arab Textbook does not. Bahasa Arab Textbook has Pictures on istima' while the Ta’limullughah ‘Arabiyah Textbook does not. Third, In terms of drawing attractiveness, Bahasa Arab Textbook fulfill more drawing attractiveness criteria than Ta’limullughah ‘Arabiyah Textbook.

Abstract

Abstract This research applies Generative learning methods using quantitative method research and the research model was experimental research. The researcher sets the alternative hypothesis (Ha), that there is a relationship between the application of Generative learning methods (Variable X) with the reading skills of students (Variable Y). And vice versa for the final hypothesis (Ho). With uses data collection methods as follows: Observation, Interview, Questionnaire and Test. The application of Generative learning methods is an appropriate method to be applied and effective. The effectiveness of the application of this method can be seen from the results of research data analysis that the value of T Calculate (t0) 10.72 is greater than T Table (tt) 2.861, this indicates that (Ho) is rejected and (Ha) is accepted. And the conclusion of this study is the existence of strong effectiveness with the application of Generative methods to improve the reading skills of students.

Abstract

Abstract Textbooks are a tool used by teachers or instructors in assisting the implementation of teaching and learning activities in schools. This research was conducted with the aim to find out the quality of Arabic textbooks with the title I Love Arabic for the 5th-grade madrasah by Sunaryo Putro published by the triad as a textbook used in Ibtidaiyah madrasas based on the preparation theory which includes selection, gradation, presentation and reps. This research is classified into library research using the content analysis method. Based on the results of the study showed that the book has met the criteria for the preparation theory which includes good material coverage, and supporting material, in terms of selection has met the criteria and the preparation has been in accordance with the objectives, level of expertise and duration of an Arabic language learning program.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The educational curriculum will not be separated from the basic principles or foundations. In this case, the study that will be raised is within the scope of the relevance of the social reconstruction curriculum with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in the 2013 curriculum on Arabic language learning. This research uses a type of evaluative method with a qualitative approach. The goal is to find out the relevance of the curriculum to the public model in Arabic language teaching. As for the results of the research, the relevance of the social reconstruction curriculum by using problem-based learning models can be said to be relevant, because it is in accordance with the plan of implementation of Arabic language learning with evidence that the steps in the RPP are in accordance with the stages of PBL learning.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the quality of language instruction in the class X Madrasah Aliyah Arabic textbook published by the ministry of religion in 2020 by referring to the language instruction criteria for question practice according to Rusydi Ahmad Thuaimah and the Directorate of Islamic Education. The research method is descriptive qualitative with the Miles and Huberman model. Data found 53 kinds of exercise instructions in four maharah with data results: 1) using Arabic fusha, there are 53 items, 2) the point instruction language used easily to understand there are 53 points, 3) unambiguous there are 51 points, 4) giving examples of how to do it, there are 8 points, 5) using correct and standard language rules, there are 49 points, 6) using communicative language there are 53 points. Thus, the instructions for practising questions in the book are very suitable to be used as a reference in making exercise instructions.

Abstract

Abstract A single word in the Qur’an may give many similar and sometimes different meanings. Determining the intended meaning of the verse has become a necessary matter. This research attempts to discover the different meanings of the word “Zauj” written in the texts of the Holy Qur’an and to discover the development of the meaning of “Zauj” throughout history; pre-Quranic, during the revelation, pasca-Quranic. This research uses both quantitative and qualitative methods using synchronic and diachronic analysis techniques. The primary data used is the word Zauj in the Qur’an and the secondary data use all related articles, especially the Tafsir al-Misbah. The results show that the word Zauj has six different meanings; husband, wife, couple, kind of plants, kind of animals, and kind of a group. And its meaning before Islam may refer to the mattress that protects from the weather. Its meaning in the modern period is divided into classical, medieval and modern ones.

Abstract

This research aims to know the student's proficiency in the productive Arabic language skills, the skill of speaking and writing, and how the third-year students at the Ali bin Abi Thalib Islamic Institute in Surabaya outperformed the third-grade students at the Badr Al-Saleh Purwoasri Kediri Islamic Institute. In these two skills, a lot of students at the Ali Bin Talib Islamic Institute in Surabaya came from senior high school, and the students of the Badr Al-Saleh Institute Purwoasri came from Islamic schools. One of the extrapolations that the researcher uses in this scientific research is by case study, and the approaches that the researcher used in this research are the qualitative approach and the quantitative approach. And the skill that the researcher chose in this research is productive skills, the skill of speaking and writing.

Abstract

This study attempted to analyse Mahmoud Darwish’s political ideas in his book Khilaf Ghairu Lughawi Ma’a Imri’il Qais. He wrote the poem in 1995, two years after the signing of the Oslo Agreement. It was born out of Darwish’s disappointment with the political decision of the Palestine Liberation Organization, which he considered having neglected the priorities of the struggle for independence and territorial claims to the security of Palestinian refugees abroad. This study relied on the qualitative approach to get the intended research results. This study relied on the method of analysis by semiotic analysis of Michael Riffaterre. The results of this study are many uses of Darwish’s metaphorical expressions in his poem, as an irony for policymakers and people were considered deviants from the scale of national priority. His views embodied the disappointment of a political decision of the Palestine Liberation Organization from the hands of Yasser Arafat. He believed Arafat had included Israeli requirements and advantages in that agreement to facilitate the affairs of the Palestinians and the efforts of the victims of past wars.

Abstract

Nowadays, pesantren are institutions of Islamic religious knowledge, however, students do not only learn the Qu’ran and the yellow book but they are also taught general knowledge, especially literacy. Limitations of media and internet access affect the intensity of the students writing skills so that the students' writing creativity becomes a contradiction in developing the productivity of the writing tradition in the pesantren. This research is a qualitative study using a phenomenological approach, which describes the problems and potentials of writing PP Darul Ulum Banyuanyar. Data collection was held by observation and interviews. The research findings show that the problem of students is using electronic media and internet access. However, the way students overcome limitations is by writing in diary books, Islamic boarding school mading, bulletin and magazines. The thing that supports writing creativity is the existence of a role model from the tutor and becomes a liaison for publishing works in the media.
