Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan model pembelajaran Auditory, Intellectually, and Repetition (AIR) dengan Media Pembelajaran Interaktif Articulate Storyline dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif metode true experimental dengan desain penelitian the randomized post-test only control design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X SMA Ma’arif NU 1 Kemranjen dengan sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas X MIPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X MIPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode tes untuk mengetahui kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa model pembelajaran Auditory, Intellectually, and Repetition (AIR) dengan media pembelajaran interaktif Articulate Storyline efektif terhadap kemampuan komunikasi peserta didik. Pemberian perlakuan tersebut memberikan ruang yang lebih luas kepada peserta didik selama proses belajar mengajar sehingga mereka mampu mengembangkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis secara maksimal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the e-LKPD assisted ethnomathematics PBL model on problem-solving skills and analyze the increase in students’ love of local culture after the implementation of the e-LKPD assisted ethnomathematics PBL model. Quantitative approach is used with the type of experimental research. The population of this study were class VII students of SMP Negeri 12 Semarang for the 2022/2023 academic year. By using cluster random sampling technique, class VII A and VII B were selected as the experimental and control classes. Methods of data collection is done by the method of tests, questionnaires, and documentation. Data were analyzed using one-group proportion test, one-group average test, twoproportion difference test, two-mean difference test, and paired t-test. The results showed that: (1) the problem-solving abilities of students who received an ethnomathematics nuanced PBL model assisted by e-LKPD achieved classical learning mastery and fulfilled the average achievement, the proportion of students' problem solving abilities with an ethnomathematics nuanced PBL model assisted by e-LKPD was more than the proportion problem-solving abilities of students with the PBL model, and the average problem-solving ability of students with the ethnomathematics nuanced PBL model assisted by e-LKPD is more than the average problem-solving ability of students with the PBL model, so it can be concluded that the e-LKPD assisted ethnomathematics PBL model is effective against students' problem solving abilities; (2) there is an increase in students' love for local culture after the implementation of the PBL model with an ethnomathematics assisted by e-LKPD.

Abstract

This research aims to determine students' mathematical problem solving abilities in learning using a generative learning model (Generative Learning) with puzzle props using Pythagorean theorem material in class VIII MTsN 11 Tabalong. This type of field research with experimental methods and a quantitative descriptive research approach is used to collect data using tests, namely problem-solving ability tests which have been tested for validity by expert validators. The sampling technique is purposive sampling, namely classes VIII B and VIII C. Data collection techniques include: test methods, documentation and interviews. The research results show: (1) The mathematical problem solving abilities of students in the experimental class with a class average score of 73.38 are in the good category. (2) The students' mathematical problem solving abilities in the control class with a class average score of 63.19 are in the sufficient category (3) There is a significant difference between students' mathematical problem solving abilities in learning with and without using generative learning models. ) with puzzle teaching aids on Pythagorean theorem material in class VIII MTsN 11 Tabalong.

Abstract

Ethnomatematics is the application of mathematical concepts in the culture that exists in society. This research was conducted at the Joglo Kudus Carving Art Industry Center located in Garung Lor Village, Kaliwungu District, Kudus Regency, Central Java. The purpose of this research is to explore the concept of geometry in the pattern of the Kudus carving art which is applied to the manufacture of Javanese Traditional Houses. The type of research used is qualitative research using an ethnographic approach. The data collection method was carried out by interviewing 3 carving workers, observation and documentation. The object of this study is the carving motifs that exist in several parts of the Javanese traditional house, including ceilings, tumpang, sunduk, katek, blandar, and umpak. The results obtained from the research show that there is a geometric concept of the art pattern of Kudus carvings found in Javanese traditional houses in the form of straight lines, curved lines, sharp angles, squares, rectangles, trapezoids, parallelograms, rhombuses, circles, semicircles, octagons, pyramids. rectangles, blocks and cubes. This research is expected to make it earsier for students to understand the implementation of mathematics in the surrounding culture.

Abstract

Research objectives ((1) To describe the mathematical reasoning of students with an auditory learning style in solving the problem of a system of two-variable linear equations (SPLDV) class VIII A of SMP Negeri 5 Tulungagung. (2) To describe the mathematical reasoning of students with a visual learning style in solving problems of a system of two-variable linear equations (SPLDV) class VIII A of SMP Negeri 5 Tulungagung. (3) To describe the mathematical reasoning of students with kinesthetic learning styles in solving problems of a system of two-variable linear equations (SPLDV) class VIII A of SMP Negeri 5 Tulungagung. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. Data collection was carried out using observation, questionnaires, tests and interviews. The analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The research subjects taken were six students in class VIII A of SMP Negeri 5 Tulungagung, namely two students with an auditory learning style, two students with a visual learning style and two students with a kinesthetic learning style. The results showed (1) Students with an auditory learning style were able to predict what method to use to solve the questions, but were unable to solve the SPLDV questions well. (2) Students with a visual learning style are able to guess what method is used to solve the problem, understand the steps or methods that can be used in solving this problem. Able to solve mathematical problems in a way or method to draw conclusions from the solutions that have been done and be able to check the validity of an argument. (3) Students with a kinesthetic learning style are able to predict what method to use to solve the problem, but do not write it down on the answer sheet. Understand the steps or methods that can be used in solving SPLDV questions. Able to justify the answers obtained by way of substitution.

Abstract

This research aims 1) to determine the differences in the mathematical communication abilities of students who are given contextual problem-based learning with scaffolding techniques and conventional learning, 2) to determine the differences in the mathematical communication abilities of students with high, medium and low self-efficacy. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental type of research with a pretest posttest control group research design. Data analysis techniques are descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of data analysis show that 1) there are differences in the mathematical communication abilities of high school students who are taught with scaffolding and students without scaffolding. 2) there are differences in mathematical communication abilities between students who have high, medium and low self-efficacy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the advance organizer learning model and learning style on students’ ability to understand mathematical concepts on the subject matter of Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel (SPLDV). This study uses a quantitative method with a quasy experiment design type of research. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kotagajah, sampling using cluster random sampling technique, then obtained class VIII A as the control class dan VIII B as the experimental class. The result of the study that there is an influence of the advance organizer learning model on the ability to understand mathematical concepts, there is an influence of learning styles on the ability to understand mathematical concepts, and there is no interaction between thw advande organizer learning model and learning styles on the ability to understand mathematical concepts

Abstract

Mathematics learning in every era always provides the latest changes and revisions. This is done so that students are more interested in learning mathematics and it is hoped that this interest can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics. Computational Thinking is a method or concept of problem solving through the concept of computational thinking. Problem solving is an important asset that Indonesian children must have for creative and innovative competition in the future. While Bebras Task has an important role for students to encourage creativity and innovation in computational thinking. This study aims to improve math problem solving skills through computational thinking. Data collection techniques were carried out with tests, questionnaires, observation, documentation, and interviews. This research method is quantitative research, with quantitative data analysis techniques using the t test. the results of this study are an increase in creativity and thinking skills in problem solving skills through computational concepts.
