JURNAL PENELITIAN is a peer-reviewed journal published by LP2M UIN K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan with print-ISSN: 1829-9903 and online-ISSN: 2541-6944 Focus and Scope Jurnal Penelitian provides the materials for the readers to understand more about Islamic studies and their correlation to Indonesians. Islam is a religion that came from outside of Indonesia but is professed by the majority of Indonesian. On the other hand, Indonesia has a variety of local cultures. The dynamic between Islam and Indonesians is the focus of Jurnal Penelitian. The dynamic between Islam and Indonesians might produce a variety of writing. Therefore, the scope of Jurnal Penelitian is to see the dynamics between Islam and Indonesians. Including Islamism in Indonesia, the Relation between Islam and culture, Local wisdom, Indonesian History, Islamic education in Indonesia, and Islamic boarding school (Pesantren) studies.

<![CDATA[The principal problem in this research includes two things; how does the understanding and implementation of the flood victims Pasirsari villages toward the concept of patience?; What is the process of understanding to the formation and implementation of such forbearance in the context of socio-cultural and religious in Pasirsari? This research is a field research using qualitative methods. Qualitative methods are used to describe the understanding of the flood and how the formation process. The analysis used is descriptive-evaluative analysis, followed by explanatory analysis, critical analysis and comparative analysis. Among the results of this study are among the flood victims identified three aspects of patience, namely ahwal, aqwal, and af'al. So, the internal act aspect of people only covers ahwal residents only. While the act covering external aspects of speech (aqwal) and action (af'al).]]>

<![CDATA[Literacy on Islamic social ecology is the human interaction with the natural environment, technology, and social which is based on the basic principles of Islam. Reconstruction of literacy on Islamic social ecology that can be reconstructed is a basic tenet of Islam that affirms the human position as a "leader" by "mandate" to manage "Earth" or "natural environment and natural resources" as well as possible. Reconstruction of ecological literacy is then to be actualized in society. The process of actualization is actual activity in instilling awareness of the social ecology of Islam in the society which is done in the social space of families, communities, and schools organized by the state through policies and regulations. With the process of reconstruction and actualization, then the state will actively build social-ecological awareness of Islam in order to realize a base of awareness, knowledge, and values of Islamic social ecology in society.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper describes the concept of khalifah fil’ardi as representatives of God in conserving nature. This study aims to instill awareness of energy derived from natural resources. This type of research is the research library (Library Research) and this research is a qualitative descriptive study. Based on the analysis and the data that I researched, the author concludes that a comprehensive knowledge about energy awareness is the basis of the khalifah fil’ardi. Realizing energy awareness in society becomes the latest concept of khalifah fil’ardi.]]>

<![CDATA[Problems of the environment now show an alarming rate. Various facts environmental destruction on Earth has made its inhabitants disturbed. This paper seeks patterned library research and browse for Islamic contribution in solving this problem. As a result, Islam gives a great attention to the various problems of human life, including the environment. This formulation is different from Western modernist views of scientists who tend to use a technical approach only, without looking at other aspects. In fact, using a technical approach alone is not sufficient, but it also requires other approaches, including the transcendent and profane.]]>

<![CDATA[This study examines Marx's theory which says that in the process of capitalization, small land farmers will be displaced by large land farmers. This study uses a qualitative approach with the method of Participatory Action Research (PAR). Using the techniques of participatory observation in the field, the study conducted in-depth interviews on farmers. Analysis of the data used is inductive. This study led to the conclusion that Marx's theory does not happen in Aman malar. The cause of the decline of agriculture due to declining soil nutrients, the high cost of production, land use and climate change. While the strategies of small land farmers to sustain life is to do the planting patterns of intercropping, do extra work, and manage finances.]]>

<![CDATA[This article determines the the attitude of society in Pekalongan batik industry with regard to predictors of confidence in their perceptions of the pillars of faith and religious activities. By using the quantitative research approach, the result of research: first, the belief in the pillars of faith affect only 10.8%, so the result was not significant; second, the perception of religious activity affects at 18.5%, so the results are significant; and third, the belief on the pillars of faith and perception of the religious activities collectively contributed 23.6%. So the latest result is significant.]]>

<![CDATA[Hisab and rukyat is a way to know the turn of the month. This study shows several findings. First is the correlation between Kuraib traditions and differences in the determination of the beginning of Ramadan, Shawwal, and Dhul-Hijjah in Indonesia. Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia has stated that Indonesia as a whole into a single jurisdiction (wilayatul hukmi). Second, on the success rukyat al-hilal in one area that applied to other regions of earth. Important to know that the first visibility of the new moon does not cover the entire face of the earth on the same day, but splitting it into two parts: (1) part of the West to see the new moon, and (2) part of the East were not able to see the new moon.]]>

<![CDATA[Pesantren is a basic for the development of human values. Education in pesantren pay attention to aspects of human potential as well as religious social beings, as well as individuals who have the potential to unleash capacities. This study sought to uncover implementation education in Pesantren Sya'fii Akrom Pekalongan whose perspective is religious humanism. The field research revealed that the process of learning between teachers and students occurs with intense interaction patterns that uphold human values and religion, so that education in pesantren Shafii Akrom is called religious humanism education. This can be seen in the well-built humanitarian values. The mutual respect, patience, diligence, discipline and values ​​of tolerance developed become the main indicators of education based on the values ​​of religious humanism.]]>
