Abstract

Kreatinin serum memiliki banyak keterbatasan dalam mendiagnosis cedera ginjal akut (CGA) terutama dalam ruang lingkup unit perawatan intensif sehingga kurang sensitif untuk menggambarkan tingkat disfungsi ginjal pada pasien sakit kritis. Dari sekian banyak penanda biologis baru yang tersedia, terdapat 4 penanda biologis yang saat ini secara luas digunakan para klinisi di seluruh dunia untuk mendeteksi CGA, antara lain neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (NGAL), cystatin C, KIM-1, dan interleukin-18. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui sensitivitas dan spesifisitas cystatin C dan kreatinin serum dalam mendiagnosis cedera ginjal akut pada pasien sepsis yang dirawat di ruang rawat intensif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah uji diagnostik dengan jumlah sampel 24 pasien dan dikerjakan di ruang rawat intensif Rumah Sakit H. Adam Malik (RSHAM) periode Februari–Maret 2014. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua pasien dewasa dengan sepsis, sepsis berat, dan syok sepsis di ruang rawat intensif. Uji statistik dilakukan dengan metode receiving operator characteristics (ROC) melalui perangkat lunak SPSS 17. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa cystatin C serum lebih superior dibanding dengan kreatinin serum dalam mendeteksi CGA pada pasien sepsis di ruang rawat intensif. Cystatin C memiliki sensitivitas, nilai prediksi positif, nilai prediksi negatif, dan area under curve -receiving operator characteristics (AUC-ROC) yang lebih tinggi dibanding dengan kreatinin serum. Namun, dari nilai spesifisitas dijumpai nilai yang sama pada kedua penanda biologis. Cystatin C serum memiliki nilai cut-off 1,03 mg/L, sedangkan kreatinin serum mempunyai nilai cut-off 1,0 mg/dL. Simpulan, cystatin C dapat dijadikan penanda biologis alternatif untuk deteksi CGA pada pasien sepsis di RRI (Ruang Rawat Intensif) dengan nilai diagnostik yang lebih baik.Kata kunci: Cedera ginjal akut, cystatin C serum, kreatinin serumSensitivity and Specificity of Serum Cystatin C and Creatinine for Diagnosing Acute Kidney Injury in Sepsis Patients Treated in Intensive Care Unit at H. Adam Malik Hospital MedanSerum creatinine has many limitations when being used to diagnose acute kidney injury (AKI), especially in the scope of intensive care unit due to its low sensitivity to depict the kidney dysfunctional level of critically-ill patients. Out of numerous new available biological markers, four biological markers are widely used all over the world to detect AKI, e.g. neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (NGAL), cystatin C, KIM-1, and interleukin-18. The purpose of this study was to determine the sensitivity and specificity of serum cystatin C and creatinine in establishing the diagnosis of acute kidney injury in sepsis patients treated in intensive care room. This study was a diagnostic test to 24 patients and conducted in intensive care room of H. Adam Malik Hospital during the period of February–March 2014. Population in this study is all adult patients with sepsis, severe sepsis, and septic shock in the intensive care room. A statistical test was conducted using receiving operator characteristics (ROC) method using SPSS 17 software. The result of this study showed that serum cystatin C was more superior than serum creatinine in detecting acute kidney injury in sepsis patients treated in intensive care room. In this study, cystatin C had higher sensitivity, positive prediction score, negative prediction score, and area under curve -receiving operator characteristics (AUC-ROC) than serum creatinine. As of specificity, there was no significant difference between these two biological markers. Serum cystatin C had a cut-off point of 1.03 mg/dL, and serum creatinine had 1.0 mg/dL. In conclusion, cystatin C can be an alternative biological marker to detect AKI in sepsis patients treated in intensive care room with a better diagnostic value.Key words: Acute kidney injury, serum creatinine, serum cystatin C DOI: 10.15851/jap.v4n2.819

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Solving yang diintegrasikan dengan pembelajaran investigasi terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis matematis berbantuan Google Classroom. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo Semester IV. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah Cluster Random Sampling sehingga diperoleh sampel penelitian yang terdiri dari 2 kelas. Instrumen penelitian mengggunakan tes pilihan ganda, data dokumen, angket, observasi, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t dengan uji prasyarat uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas variansi. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis matematis mahasiswa yang dikenai pembelajaran problem solving dan investigasi berbantuan Google Classroom lebih baik daripada keterampilan berpikir kritis matematis mahasiswa yang dikenai pembelajaran tradisional berbantuan Google Classroom.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan pemecahan masalah pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 120 mahasiswa. Instrumen penelian menggunakan tes yang terdiri dari 4 soal essay. Analisis dilakukan dengan meihat hasil pekerjaan mahasiswa, observasi, dan wawancara. Dari hasil analisis terhadap tes tersebut menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan pemecahan masalah pada mahasiswa masih perlu untuk ditingkatkan. Peningkatan keterampilan pemecahan masalah dapat dilakukan dengan pemberian metode pembelajaran yang tepat serta membiasakan mahasiswa berhadapan dengan soal-soal yang open ended.

Abstract

Tulisan ini fokus membahas persoalan literasi anak usia dini dalam lingkungan pendidikan keluarga dan sekolah. Karena kemampuan dasar literasi anak usia dini tidak akan lepas dari pengaruh lingkungan belajar dalam keluarga dan sekolah. Bahkan, keluarga dan sekolah menjadi basis utama dalam pendidikan literasi anak-anak-anak, sehingga diperlukan suatu desain pengembangan lingkungan belajar literasi yang mampu meningkatkan kompetensi dan keterampilan literasi anak-anak usia dini. Mendesain lingkungan belajar literasi untuk anak dalam pendidikan keluarga dan sekolah merupakan usaha yang dilakukan orang tua dan guru dalam menumbuhkan kemampuan dan keterampilan literasi pada anak-anak dalam kehidupan keluarga dan sekolah. Desain lingkungan belajar literasi anak usia dini dalam pendidikan keluarga dan sekolah pada anak usia dini dapat dilakukan melalui tiga hal penting sebagai berikut; Pertama, desain yang berorientasikan pada penciptaan dan peningkatan budaya membaca pada anak. Kedua, desain yang mengkondisikan anak-anak untuk mengelaborasi segala bentuk informasi dan ilmu pengetahuan yang telah didapat dari membaca untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir anak. Ketiga, desain lingkungan belajar anak-anak untik aktif dalam menulis.

Abstract

Relasi Rekurensi merupakan salah satu masalah dalam Matematika Diskrit. Sebuah relasi rekurensi mendefinisikan suku ke-n dari sebuah barisan secara tak langsung; untuk menghitung an, pertama-tama harus dihitung a0, a1, a3..., an-1. Salah satu permasalahan yang melibatkan relasi rekurensi adalah masalah Tower of Hanoi, yang selanjutnya akan dicari bentuk umum penyelesaiannya. Relasi rekurensi jgka akan membahas penyelesaian umum yang melibatkan persamaan linier homogen dengan koefisien konstan yang  melibatkan persamaan karakteristik dengan 2 akar, yaitu (1) r1, r2 dua bilangan riil yang berbeda. (2) r1, r2 dua bilangan kompleks. (3) r1, r2 dua bilangan riil yang sama, selanjutnya r1 dan r2 akan disebut akar-akar karakteristik. Abstract

TK Masyithoh 25 Sokaraja library has an important role in developing the reading interest of their students. The activity which is developed is library literacy. Through this library literacy TK Masyithoh 25 Sokaraja is able to develop children's interest in reading. The library literacy activities which developed are the activities of borrowing and returning books, story telling activities for children, and literacy activities of reading aloud. The three activities in turn programmed are followed by students of TK Masyithoh 25 Sokaraja. Through these three activities, students of TK Masyithoh 25 Sokaraja can increase their reading interest which is characterized by: the child's needs for reading books, actions to looking for reading sources ; pleasure in reading; interest in reading; the desire to always read; and follow-up (following up on what they read).

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the algebraic thinking ability of students in SPLDV problems solving. This research was conducted by students in eighth grade with AQ climber type. The type of this study is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The technique of taking the subject is a purposive technique with two students as the subject that chosen with the AQ climber category. The instruments that used in this research are SPLDV matter solving sheets, interview guidelines, and field notes. The techniques of collecting data are tests, interviews, and field notes. The steps in analyzing data are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that climber students are able to think algebraic views from their activities, namely generational activity, transformational activity, and global meta-level activity. The indicators achieved in generational activities are students can understand the equations that contain variables namely the meaning of the equal sign and also students are able to understand the solution of equation. The indicators achieved in transformational activities are students being able to say terms, expand, substitute, solve equations, simplify expressions, and be able to change equations into equivalent equations. Whereas in global meta-level activities students are able to use algebra to predict a problem in mathematics and be able to model mathematics that related to algebra.

Abstract

Abstract

Literacy on Islamic social ecology is the human interaction with the natural environment, technology, and social which is based on the basic principles of Islam. Reconstruction of literacy on Islamic social ecology that can be reconstructed is a basic tenet of Islam that affirms the human position as a "leader" by "mandate" to manage "Earth" or "natural environment and natural resources" as well as possible. Reconstruction of ecological literacy is then to be actualized in society. The process of actualization is actual activity in instilling awareness of the social ecology of Islam in the society which is done in the social space of families, communities, and schools organized by the state through policies and regulations. With the process of reconstruction and actualization, then the state will actively build social-ecological awareness of Islam in order to realize a base of awareness, knowledge, and values of Islamic social ecology in society.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to determine the level of critical thinking of students in solving open ended mathematics problem. This type of research is qualitative. The subjects of this study were 3 students of class VIII who had been chosen purposively is students with high mathematical abilities. Data Validity Test uses triangulation techniques. Data collection techniques using critical thinking test questions. The results showed that students with high mathematical abilities reached level 3 in critical thinking.
