JURNAL PENELITIAN is a peer-reviewed journal published by LP2M UIN K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan with print-ISSN: 1829-9903 and online-ISSN: 2541-6944 Focus and Scope Jurnal Penelitian provides the materials for the readers to understand more about Islamic studies and their correlation to Indonesians. Islam is a religion that came from outside of Indonesia but is professed by the majority of Indonesian. On the other hand, Indonesia has a variety of local cultures. The dynamic between Islam and Indonesians is the focus of Jurnal Penelitian. The dynamic between Islam and Indonesians might produce a variety of writing. Therefore, the scope of Jurnal Penelitian is to see the dynamics between Islam and Indonesians. Including Islamism in Indonesia, the Relation between Islam and culture, Local wisdom, Indonesian History, Islamic education in Indonesia, and Islamic boarding school (Pesantren) studies.

<![CDATA[Water is a long-life necessity that must be maintained for its sustainability. However, at present, various water resources problems have occurred in various countries. This study aims to find the concept of water resources management in Islam. This research type is library research with constant comparative method for data analysis. From the analysis, it can be understood that, Islam as a complete religion can be a source of water resource management concept to be implemented in life. For the sake of good water resources, water management must be holistic. An ethical-religious, social and economic approach that involving all human components is really essential.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to find out whether there is a positive and significant relationship between learning habits with matematics learning achievement, there is a positive and significant relationship or not between peers association with matematics learning achievement and there is a positive and significant relationship among learning habits and association of peers with matematics learning habits. The population and sampel in this research is all students of class VIII MTs Sembada Kebumen. Data accumulation technique used questionnaire and test. Data analysis used correlation analysis and regression analysis. The results show: (1) There is a positive and significant relationship between learning habits with mathematics learning achievement with correlation coefficient of 0.863; (2) There is a positive and significant relationship between peers association with mathematics learning achievement with correlation coefficient of 0.663; (3) There is a positive and significant relationship among learning habits and peers association with mathematics learning achievement with correlation coefficient of 0.874. The relative contribution of X1 is 84.39% and X2 is 15.61%. The amount of effective contribution of X1 is 64,417% and X2 is 11,91%.]]>

<![CDATA[In Surah al-Isra (17) verse 1 al-Qur'an mentions clearly that around al-Aqsa has been blessed by Allah SWT. But historically it has been proven that in Jerusalem, the palce where al-Aqsa is exist became a cause of conflict between divine religions that led to the death of thousands innocent, so where were the blessing of al-Aqsa?To answer this question researchers used a hermeneutic approach of Schleiermacher namely grammatical and psychological interpretations that are considered able to observe and photograph the Surah al-Isra (17) verse 1 with the empirical reality today in Jerusalem. The result of this study as follows: the blessing in Surah al-Isra verse 1 which is the characteristic of al-Aqsa Mosque is a depiction of holiness the transfer through a procession of Isra Mi'raj of Prophet Muhammad in the form of journey safety so that there is no interruption in his journey. The existence of the blessing in surah al-Isra (17) verse 1 is more specific and personal to the prophet Muhammad when conducted night journey from al-haram mosqueto al-Aqsa mosque]]>

<![CDATA[This research was aimed to explore the economic freedom vis a vis government intervention according to Ibn Khaldun. To answer this question, researcher studied al-Muqaddimah of Ibn Khaldun. The ideas of Ibn Khaldun in his al-Muqaddimah were analized by using content analysis. Beside that, I also used Karl Mannheim’s sociology of knowledge approach to analyze his ideas. The result revealed that Ibn Khaldun emphasized the economic activities had to be free from the restrictive power of the government. The economic freedom, however, had not to be free from rule of game. It had to be under the control of the rule of game, and to do that the role of government was very necessary. Based on Karl Mannheim’s sociology of knowledge, Ibn Khaldun ideas were influenced by social knowledge determination in his life and he also used his perspective as Moslem to explore his ideas. It could be said that there was so strong relation between Ibn Khaldun ideas and the social reality in his life. Thus, his knowledge type was ideological, not utopian.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper aims to describe the implementation of proselytism of corporate social responsibility (CSR) that is conducted by the company as a business entity that manages natural resources and obligates to carry out social responsibility and environmental enterprise. CSR activities are not only philanthropic activities that have no clear direction and achievement, but those can also be expressed as the realization of proselytism programs in the form of community development with the aim to create the quality of life. The concept of proselytism is not only synonymous with tabligh but also encompassing all aspects of human life to create the change towards the best. The main principle in this proselytism activities is to foster awareness and strength in society as the object of proselytism itself with the aim of improving welfare. Proselytism activities of CSR for people who are in the agricultural area as the main commodity of society are implemented through activities; Land lending, business capital strengthening, management and agricultural development, agricultural cultivation training and marketing of agricultural products. The success of proselytism activities of CSR is supported by factors that support activities such as; Resources, communication and organizational structure that affect each other and strengthen one another.]]>

<![CDATA[This research investigates the concept of money according to al-Ghazali in IhyaUlum al-Dinas well astherelevance of the money concept of al-Ghazali with contemporary economic system.This research used qualitative approach and based on library research. The result of this research found that the concept of money cannot be separated by ethical values. While its relevance to the contemporary economic system is the return of the function of money in al-Ghazali’s view as a medium of exchange not as a commodity tool and it is possible to be applied monetary system of dinar and dirham.]]>

<![CDATA[This article examines the model of group guidance development that is effective in improving the emotional intelligence of senior high school students. This research used educational research and development method. The sample was chosen by purposive sampling to one group of 10 students. The result of this research is Islamic-based group guidance model. The Islamic group-based guidance model developed is a process of providing assistance by counselors to individual through a group atmosphere based on Islamic values in al-qur'an and hadith, enabling each member to learn to participate actively by utilizing the thought and experience of group members. The result of model implementation shows that the guidance of Islamic-based group proved effective in improving students' emotional intelligence. This increase occurs in all aspects of emotional intelligence. Wilcoxon statistical test result shows probability value below 0.05 (0.0025 <0.05), means that the guidance of Islamic-based group effective to improve students' emotional intelligence.]]>

<![CDATA[Kliwonan Tradition is a cultural ritual for Batang society which is held every Friday every Kliwon selapanan (35 days) located in the square and the Great Mosque Batang. The event was conducted as an expression of gratitude and commemorate the services of the ancestors in the opening of Batang land and fight for Islam in the Batang region. This study aims to determine the history, value and meaning of Kliwonan in socio-cultural perspectives of Batang society. This study uses a qualitative approach, with data collected through observation methods, interviews, documents and questionnaires as supporting data. Data analysis using qualitative descriptive analysis technique. The results showed the response of Batang society to the tradition of Kliwonan ritual is quite strong. The majority of the community showed a strongly agreed attitude to the Kliwonan event which is the hallmark of Batang district. The results of interviews with various people who respond differently. The clerics responded that Kliwonan was merely a tradition, the myths circulating in society were in fact created. Cultural circles actually think Kliwonan has metamorphas from the mystical ritual transformed into a show that is only economically charged.]]>
