Abstract

ABSTRACT The one indicator of employee is if the employer has a good performance or not wheres the employee has a good discipline level of work, the influence of labor discipline can affect the quality of employee performance. Department of Transportation, Communications and Information Technology is one of the government of Serang city who gives service for citizen, so if an employee's performance is not good, then would gives affect for the service. This study the researcher tried to do in-depth study of whether there was an effect on the performance of labor discipline of employees in the Department of Transportation, Communication and Information of Serang City. The method used is descriptive and associative. This study uses literature and field research such as interviews, observation and questionnaires for 46 employerBased on Hypothesis Testing showed that the value of t count> t table (4.374> 1.6802), then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. Means a significant difference between the performance of employees working diciplinje at the Department of Communication and Information Kota Serang.

Abstract

One measure that is used as an indicator for the employee if he has a good performance or not are those who have a good level of work discipline, the influence of labor discipline can affect the quality of employee performance. Department of Transportation, Communications and Information Technology is one of the government agencies Serang most can get an assessment, it is because the agency directly in contact with the public in order to provide services, so that if an employee's performance is not good, then the influence of the ministry. The method used is descriptive and associative. This study uses literature and field research such as interviews, observation and questionnaires. With 46 employees in the transportation department of communication and informatics Kota Serang attack as respondents. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires to 46 respondents with measurement Likert scale, to use the analysis analasis partial correlation coefficient, correlation and regression with. The help of SPSS. From the results of analysis correlation value (R) is equal to 0,500. This shows that the work disipline (X) have a relationship that influence employee performance (Y). While the value of R Square coefficient of determination (KD) is approximately 0,303 work means the contribution of environmental influences (X) simultaneously to fluctuations in employee performance variable (Y) by 30.3% while the remaining 69.7% is influenced by other factors not examined in this research. Based on Hypothesis Testing showed that the value of t count> t table (4.374> 1.6802), then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. Means a significant difference between the performance of employees working diciplinje at the Department of Communication and Information Kota Serang. The regression equation Y = 19,516+0,500X
