Abstract

The vegetarian diet has become increasingly popular in the 21st century due to its potential to reduce the risk of chronic and degenerative diseases. Vegetarians are individuals who do not consume animal products, either for religious or health reasons. However, it can be difficult to determine whether a particular food is vegetarian or non-vegetarian based on visual inspection alone. Therefore, this study successfully developed an SVM & RBF model in RStudio that can accurately differentiate between vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods based on image data. The model achieved an accuracy rate of 95%, specificity of 100%, sensitivity of 88.89%, and an AUC value of 94.44%. It can be concluded that the SVM & RBF model is capable of predicting data with high accuracy and effectively distinguishing between vegetarian and non-vegetarian classes.

Abstract

Dengue fever is an arbovirus disease caused by dengue virus infection through the bite of the Aedes mosquito, Aedes aegypti. Signs or symptoms of dengue usually resemble ordinary viral infections, but can become more severe and cause other symptoms that can paralyze the activities of the patient who suffers from it. The initial symptoms of someone who is infected with the dengue virus will experience a fever within 4–6 days after being infected. Therefore, early diagnosis is needed whether a person is infected or not with dengue fever. Because if someone is late getting treatment by medical personnel, then this can lead to death. Prevention can be done by making the right predictions. Dengue fever disease prediction research is needed to assist medical personnel in making a diagnosis. To get a good level of accuracy, research collected data and used the Radial Basis Function (RBF) approach method. The results of the RBF prediction evaluation obtained are that the RBF model gets 100% accuracy, 100% sensitivity, 100% specificity, and 100% AUC value.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to maximize the use of e-learning applications by students for easier access to academic knowledge. The method used is Design Thinking. This method applies a solution-based approach that is used to solve problems, understand application users to define existing problems, then make solutions to solve existing problems. starting from looking for respondents to know the problems faced and followed by determining the problem and the results from the respondents will be processed and will become a new design that can solve user problems.

Abstract

Learning media is anything that is used to channel messages or information to the recipient with the aim of stimulating the mind, attention, and interest of learning during the learning process. Therefore, with the development of technology, the world has also developed to follow the changes that occur, especially in the world of education. In the world of education, technology can influence learning media that can support learning activities to be more effective and easier to do. The existence of this learning media application aims to facilitate the learning process and increase efficiency during the learning process, because students only need to access the application to start learning the material that has been provided.

Abstract

A company certainly has human resources that must be managed. The process of managing human resources has been computerized, but most of it is still manual and because of that the Human Resources Department (HRD) find it difficult to manage. The problem that is often encountered in managing employee data is the difficulty of recording, storing, and managing employee data due to the large number of employees. The purpose of this research is to build a Human Resources (HR) applications that makes it easier for HR to record employee data. The design of this applications uses the Design Thinking method which consists of empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test stages. The aim of the design is for researchers to have a deep interest in developing understanding from users. This helps researchers to observe and develop empathy with the target users. The result of this research is the applications of Human Resources which can make it easier to overcome difficulties in recording, storing, and managing employee data.

Abstract

The nglowongi process is one part of the batik process, which is making patterns on mori. As technology develops, this process is replaced by machines that apply CNC technology, namely the CNC rotary bed. In its implementation, obstacles were found such as failure to form motifs that have perfect angles on the fabric. There are many possible factors that cause the failure, but the authors focus on the limiting factors on the speed and acceleration of the stepper motor movement and the design angle of the motif. The purpose of this research is to optimize the input setup (speed and acceleration) on GRBL during the process of making angular motifs on batik cloth. The method used is the Taguchi method and two way-ANOVA. The results of this study indicate that the optimal combination of motif design angle, speed and acceleration is 91°-180°, 833.33 mm/s or 500 mm/min respectively and the input acceleration is 4000 mm/s2
