Abstract

During pregnancy, women experience significant changes in physiological and psychological functions. The research data shows that the process of pregnancy becomes a source of anxiety. This study aimed to examine the effect of Al-Qur'an Tadabbur therapy to reduce anxiety on the first delivery. Subjects are two groups of pregnant women. Measuring instruments used in this study is the Maternal Anxiety Scale were given before and after treatment and during follow-up. The first group received Al-Qur'an Tadabbur therapy, while the second group was the control group (waiting list). The difference (gain score) of pre-test, post-test and follow-up were compared by using Mann-Whitney analysis to determine whether there are significant differences in anxiety gain score. The result is the group who followed the Al-Qur'an Tadabbur therapy has lower anxiety score, p = 0.032 (p<0.05) compared with the control group. This study shows that Al Quran Tadabbur therapy can be used as one of the way to reduce anxiety before delivery. Key Words : Anxiety, Al-Qur'an Tadabbur Therapy, Pregnancy

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness Training of Rational Emotive Behavioral to deriving arrange minithesis anxiety of college student in faculty of sciences and technology X University. The methode of group training REB require to deriving arrange minithesis anxiety. Sample in this research is college student in faculty of science and technology X University that arrange ministhesis. Total of subject in this research is sixteenth college student, that divide into two group 12 subject in control group and 4 subject in experimental group. This research is true experimental and the design used is pretest-posttest control group design. The methods of data analysis techniques which used is Mann Whitney U and Wilcoxon. The results of the data analysis between posttest control group and posttest experimental group showed a significance level of p = 0.274, it means there are not differences of arrange minithesis anxiety between control group and experimental group. The results of differences score pretest and posttest which used Wilcoxon showed a significance level of p = 0.068. It means there are not differences arrange minithesis anxiety between before and after training. So the conclusion is Training of Rational Emotive Behavioral not effective to deriving arrange minithesis anxiety. Keywords : REBT, arrange minithesis anxiety

Abstract

Various reasons for a person doing early marriage, one of which is a condition where a person who has a strong desire to be married at a young age or who can be called with the intention. Intentions early marriage is the tendency of a marriage that has the desire to get married at the age of adolescence or under the age of 20 years. Increased intentions early marriage can be resolved, either by providing psychoeducation. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of psychoeducation early marriage in reducing early marriage intentions in adolescents in South Borneo. The research subjects were followed psychoeducation by category amounted to 55 people. This study is a quasi experimental study (quasi) also called quasi-experiment which is resembling (similar). This research uses a method of pre-experimental design with a kind of pre-test and post-test one group design. This method is given to one group without a comparison group. The results showed there were significant differences in scores on treatment without psychoeducation and with the treatment given psychoeducation t (-39,305; p = 0.000 <0.05). Thus, we can conclude that psychoeducation may be used to reduce early marriage intentions. Keywords: Psychoeducation, intentions early marriage, teenage

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of support group therapy on improving resilience among adolescents in prisons. The hypothesis tested was based on the asumption that support group therapy influenced to improving resilience of adolescents in prison. The sample include 12 convicts adolescents, consist of male, they were between 16 and 18 years old, and classified into two groups, the two groups are experiment and control group. Data were collected by resilience scale (38-aitem) which refers to resilient aspects from Connor and Davidson (2003). The effectiveness of intervention was evaluated by using a quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttes and follow-up analysis. Analysis of this study consisted of quantitative and qualitative analysis. Quantitative analysis using parametric analysis of Anova Repeated Measures to determine differences in resilience to experimental group and control group after the subjects are given therapy. The qualitative analysis was done based on observations and interviews. The result of research showed there were differences in resilience between experimental group and control group after the therapy given, with value of p = 0.019 (p<0.05) when pretest-posttest and p = 0.013 (p<0.05) when pretest-follow up. The conclusion of this study was support group therapy can enhance resilience of adolescents in prisons.Key words: Support group therapy, Resilience, Adolescents.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand the effect of self-regulation group counseling for subjects with Compulsive Buying Disorder. The research method was Quasi-experimental, One-group pretest-posttest design. Analysis technique used is descriptive statistics. Subjects consist of three, with the criteria are students in college, women, have compulsive buying disorder, and in medium category for self-regulation. The results of this research after 5 group-counseling sessions are: the counselee 1 (AP) and counselee 3 (MM) show that they get self-regulation increased scores, but the criteria still exist in the medium category. Counselee 2 (ABF) show that her self-regulation increased scores, with increased category of the category of medium to high category. Key words: self-regulation, compulsive buying, group-counseling.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to empirically examine the effect of assertiveness training on the students interpersonal communication skills. The research design was pretes postest control group design. The subject determination into experimental group and control group. Interpersonal communication skills is measured by using scale interpersonal communication skills based on interpersonal communication aspects of DeVito (2011). Data analysis on this research was mixed design anova. The result of this research revealed the existance of interaction between time (pretest and posttest) and group (experimental and control) that was stated by F = 41,786; P = 0,000. The result showed that control group and experimental group was different. In this research, the asertiveness training treatment contribution toward the increasing of interpersonal communication skills is 79,1%. Key words: Asertiveness training, Interpersonal communication skill, Vocational high school.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of psychological well-being in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus using group positive psychotherapy. Subjects in this study were 12 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (men and women) between the ages of 47-64 years, and divided into two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. This study uses a scale of psychological well-being (22-item), which refers to the dimensions of psychological well-being by Ryff (1989). Quantitative data analysis using parametric analysis techniques one-way repeated measures anova to see the differences in psychological well-being of the experimental group after the subject therapy. The results show that there are differences in psychological well-being in the experimental group after therapy, with a value of Wilks' Lambda = 0.153, p = 0.00 (p <0.01). The conclusion from this study that the group positive psychotherapy can improve psychological well-being of people with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Key words: Group Positive Psychotherapy, Psychological Well Being, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
