Abstract

This research is a quantitative research with a correlational type which aims to look at the relationship between teacher readiness and thematic learning outcomes for Class V elementary schools in Cluster 2, Tamalate District, Makassar City. This research instrument uses a questionnaire and documentation. Based on the descriptive statistics table, teacher readiness has low (50%), medium (17%), and high (33%) categories. Class V student learning outcomes), 37% in the score category 61-80 (high) and 26% in the score category 41-60 (moderate). This study used the Kolmogrov-Smirnov test with a sig value of 0.200 > 0.05 so it can be concluded that the variable data on teacher readiness and learning achievement are normally distributed. In terms of testing with a significance level of 5% based on the calculation results it is known that the significance value is 0.877 > 0.05 so that there is a linear relationship between the variables. Based on the results of the product moment correlation analysis, the relationship between teacher readiness and learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students in Cluster 2 Tamalate District, Makassar City, obtained a value of -0.204 while it was 2.77645 at a significant level of 5 % and N = 6. From the results of this analysis it can be seen that the value < (-0.204 < 2.77645 ). Based on this analysis, it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between teacher readiness and learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students in Cluster 2, Tamalate District, Makassar City. Keywords: teacher readiness, learning outcomes, relationships

Abstract

This research is a research that uses a quantitative approach with the type ofexperimental research which aims to find out (1) The description of the use of audio-visualmediaonthespeakingskillsofthirdgradestudentsofSDNegeri11Leang-Leang,Bantimurung District, Maros Regency, (2) The description of students' speaking skills afterusing audio-visual media in class III SD Negeri 11 Leang-Leang, Bantimurung District,MarosRegency,(3)Theeffectofthe useofaudio-visual media on the speaking skills of grade III students of SD Negeri 11 Leang-Leang, Bantimurung District, Maros Regency. Theindependent variable in this study is the use of audio-visual media, while the dependentvariable is the result of students' speaking skills. This study uses the type of research OneGroup Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study were 23 students of class III SDNegeri 11 Leang-Leang, Bantimurung District, Maros Regency in the academic year 2020-2021. Determination of the sample in this study using non-probability sampling, purposive sampling. Data collection techniques in research are tests, observation and documentation. Data were collected from giving speaking skills test and the analyzed by descriptive statistics and inferential statistics using the paired sample T-Test with the help of SPSS22.0calculations.The results of the research that have been carried out, it can becon cluded that: (1) The description of the use of audio-visual media on students' speaking skills is seen basedon the observation sheet, from the learning stages observed at each meeting the learningprocess seems to increase through the activities of students and teachers, (2) The descriptionof the results of students' speaking skills after using audio-visual media is more improved.Thisis evidenced by the posttest averages core of students in the very good category whilethe pretest scores are in the poor category, (3) There is a significant effect of the use of audio-visual media on students' speaking skills. This is because the probability value oftcount > ttable(55.631> 2.074), with a significance value of 0.000 is smaller than the significance level of0.05 (0.000 <0.05).

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research with the type of correlational research which aims to determine 1) Description of students' perceptions of mathematics subjects, 2) Description of mathematics learning outcomes, 3) The relationship between students' perceptions of mathematics subjects and mathematics learning outcomes. The independent variable in this study is the students' perception of mathematics, while the dependent variable is the result of learning mathematics. The population in this study were all students of class V UPT SDN 11 Pangkajene Sidrap Regency as many as 3 classes with a total of 93 students, while the sample was 47 people with sampling using a systematic sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this research are questionnaires in the form of questionnaires and documentation. Data was collected from the distribution of questionnaires on student perceptions of mathematics subjects and documentation of UAS scores for even semester students for the 2020/2021 academic year. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and inferential analysis using the product moment correlation test. The results of the research that have been carried out can be concluded that: (1) The description of students' perceptions of students' mathematics subjects is in the low category, it is obtained from the value of the average analysis results and the percentage of the results of filling out students' perception questionnaires on mathematics subjects, (2) The description of students' mathematics learning outcomes is in the good category, it is obtained from the value of the average analysis results and the percentage of students' mathematics learning outcomes, (3) Based on the results of inferential statistical analysis and decision making that refers to the criteria used to test the significant product moment correlation, it is obtained that the significance value does not meet the criteria or the significance value is greater than the alpha value, so the hypothesis in this study is rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is no relationship between students' perceptions of mathematics subjects and the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students of UPT SDN 11 Pangkajene, Sidrap Regency.

Abstract

This research is an experimental research type with a quantitative approach. This study aims to describe the application of the project-based learning model to the thematic learning for class V at SDN 24 Batangase Maros, and to describe student learning outcomes in thematic learning for class V students at SDN 24 Batangase Maros. The population of this study were fifth grade students at SDN 24 Batangase Maros with a total population of 92 students consisting of 3 classes. The sample in this study were students of class VB AND VC with a total of 59 students. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, test and documentation. After the data is collected then the processing is carried out by statistical analysis and inferential statistics with the help of IBM SPSS version 26. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the average value of learning outcomes in the experimental class before using project based learning (pre-test) is 35.83, which means it is at poor category, while the average score of students after implementing the project based learning strategy (post-test) was 69.17 which was in the good category. Furthermore, the average value of student learning outcomes in the control class that was not treated without applying the project based learning model (pre-test) was 35.69 which was in the less category while the average value was not treated without applying project based learning (post-test). ) is 53.28 which is in the sufficient category. Based on the results of these studies, there is a positive effect of the application of the project based learning model on learning outcomes in the thematic learning of fifth grade students at SDN 24 Batangase Maros.

Abstract

This research is an experimental research. This research is motivated by the lack of application of the VCT model in Civics learning which is able to attract students' attention resulting in low critical thinking skills. Research Objectives (1) To find out the application of Civics lessons using the VCT class V model at SDN 047 Inpres Baurung (2) To find out the critical thinking skills of class V students at SDN 047 Inpres Baurung (3) To find out the effect of the VCT learning model on critical thinking skills class V students at SDN 047 inpres baurung. The independent variable in this study is the use of the VCT learning model while the dependent variable is the ability to think critically. The research design was a Quasi Experimental Design using the Nonequivalent Control Group type. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation sheets of learning process activities, tests that were carried out twice, namely pretest and posttest tests and supporting learning tools for conducting research and research documentation. Research data analysis techniques using descriptive and inferential analysis. The results of the research that has been done can be concluded that: (1) the application of the VCT learning model to the critical thinking skills of Civics students of class V SDN 047 Inpres Baurung Kec. Campalagian District. Polewali Mandar. went well and effectively, this is evidenced by the results of observations of presentations in the very good category. (2) The ability to think critically shows an increase after giving the VCT learning model in learning activities. This is evidenced by the comparison of the average pretest scores for Civics learning outcomes in the experimental class as a whole and the posttest between the experimental class and the control class. (3) The use of the VCT learning model on students' Civics learning outcomes is said to have an effect, by proving based on the results of hypothesis testing, namely the probability value or the difference in test results obtained after learning using the VCT learning model.
