Abstract

The development of science and technology is increasingly rapid, as are developments in the world of electronic technology. A lot of equipment that works with electronic systems. Solar cell technology is one of the technological developments. This solar cell technology is expected to reduce dependence on the provision of resources from the government. The solar cell system, which is equipped with an electronic system as a supporting device, such as detecting the position of sunlight and controlling battery charging, can increase the efficiency of the system's work. In this supply system using a Photovoltaic (PV) module. This solar cell will convert solar energy into electrical energy. This system is equipped with a battery charging system. This system is equipped with a light position detector. This light position detector will look for the origin of the light source, in this case the light source in question is sunlight. The solar cell will rotate according to the position of the light (in this case the light source is sunlight) with a light position detection device. This light position detector will rotate the solar cell from east to west and from north to south. The direction of rotation of this solar cell depends on the light source (the light source in this case is sunlight). As for this battery charging system, it will charge 12V batteries from solar cells. This light position detector will rotate the solar cell from east to west and from north to south. Abstract

Maintenance of the generator set is very influential on the performance of an electric power supply. Especially in a vital institution such as a hospital. The existence of a generator is very necessary as an anticipation if the electricity supply from PLN experiences a trip. Limited time and energy are the main factors underlying the lack of generator maintenance, so generators often fail when needed. Starting from the limited time and energy, the idea emerged about the need for a software that is able to control the system automatically so that it can heat up the generator engine at any given time. Programmable logic controller (PLC) is a program that is used to operate an automatic generator set system. The command made in the form of an image that can be interpreted as a logic circuit command is called a ladder diagram. The command taken from the input signal is a switch and the output signal command is a load. The output signal in this machine is a motor which is analogous to a generator, based on the logic in the generator. When input 0001 is turned on, the timer 001 will count down 25 seconds. Once fulfilled it will start the motor, if for 3 seconds the motor does not start, it will activate the 004 team as a delay before the system starts trying to start again. If in 3 times the motor is started it still won't turn on, it will activate address 1004. Address 1004 itself is an alarm that will give a warning if the system cannot function normally and must get further checks. According to the results above, the use of software using CPM 1A can be said to have been successfully applied to simulations, but there will be significant shortcomings if it is applied for public use, due to the maximum time setting of only 16 minutes, while public use requires flexibility in the application of appropriate time settings. with the field of application. Based on the observations, it can be concluded that the initial purpose of the concept of making tools is fulfilled by the realization of a simulation. The use of PLC is very suitable to be applied to automating generator sets, but the simulation performance has not been maximized due to limited capabilities in developing PLC software timer applications. however, there will be significant drawbacks if applied for public use, due to the maximum time setting of only 16 minutes, while for public use requires flexibility in the application of time settings according to the field of application. Abstract

This research was conducted at the Industrial Service Unit of the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta, which is a Service Unit engaged in the machinery industry, with a Make To Order-based production system. The current state of product completion time orders are made based on estimates only. In this study, a decision support system was designed to calculate product time estimates, change manual calculations or estimates with computer calculations. The calculation refers to product specifications and cutting tools used, where these two things are used to calculate the length of a machining process. In addition, the machine load, the time to order raw materials, the availability of working drawings, and the efficiency of the machine used are also considered. Based on the results of the implementation in the case of the RAGUM-TI product, the completion time was 6331.28 minutes or 106 hours, and the product could be completed in 16.5 days with 80% machine efficiency and 8 hours of work per day. With the decision support system produced in this study, it can increase the speed and accuracy of the estimation process by the company.

Abstract

A quality product is obtained from good cutting conditions. One of the deviations caused by the cutting conditions is the cylindrical process of the process, therefore in this study the effect of the feed motion (f) and the main cutting angle (Kr) on the cylindrical results of the workpiece surface on the cylindrical lathe process was carried out. The machining process is carried out with a depth of cut of 0.5 mm by varying the feeding motion (f) and the main cutting angle (Kr) with a constant spindle rotation (n) of the ST 37 workpiece which has a diameter of 30 mm and a length of 150 mm and is turned along ± 120 cm. mm using an HSS chisel. After the workpiece is turned, the cylindrical size of the workpiece is measured using Block – V and Dial Indicator. The results of this study found that, in the use of Kr = 90° (β = 60°, = 3°, = 27°) cylindrical value = 180 – 390 m, Kr = 70° (β = 50°, = 13°, = 27°) cylindrical value = 370 - 480 m, and Kr = 60° (β = 34 °, = 24°, = 32°) the cylindrical value = 510 – 860 m. Feeding motion has a great influence on the cylindrical surface, because the greater the feeding motion, the greater the cylindrical value. This is due to the less cylindrical in the workpiece during the machining process. The main cutting angle (Kr) also has a big influence on the cylindrical surface, because the smaller Kr, the greater the cylindrical value. This is because the use of a small Kr is not profitable because it will reduce the geometric accuracy of the product, in this case it will also affect the cylindrical result and cause the workpiece to become non-cylindrical (the cylindrical size is getting bigger).

Abstract

Land cover in Indonesia's forest areas is dynamic and can change rapidly with factors including the conversion of forest areas for use in other sectors; unsustainable forest management; illegal logging; unsustainable mining activities; disturbance; and forest fires, ineffectiveness and failure to optimize reforestation and land rehabilitation have also contributed to an increase in the area of highly degraded land. Therefore, it is necessary to make significant improvements to the system and structure of forest governance to ensure that forest management is more sustainable and equitable, and not prone to corrupt practices. The aims of this paper are (a) to review the 2014 Forest Governance Index; (b) Analyzing the latest developments in Indonesia's Forest Performance; and (c) Analyze Indonesia's current e-government index and forest governance strategy. The results show that the transparency aspect is the weakest aspect in Indonesian forest governance in 2014 which indicates the need for systemic improvements to control the rate of deforestation and forest degradation related to corrupt practices. Currently, the government continues to make improvements and innovations in implementing good governance in the forestry sector. Forest management policies continue to meet new paradigms and national, regional and global strategic challenges such as meeting the demands of the SDG's and other international agreements. For Indonesia's e-government Development Index continues to experience improvement. For online service indexes, technology and service provision are the most important components to be improved. Meanwhile, for the telecommunication infrastructure index, the component of fixed broadband subscriptions is still weak. Steps to eradicate corruption through improving e-government can increase the effectiveness of regional development governance and performance.
