Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the response of growth and yield of Basil (Ocimum Sanctum L.) to the application of organic fertilizer and husk charcoal as a planting medium. This study used a factorial Randomized Block Design (FRBD) which was designed using 2 factors and was repeated 3 times. Factor 1 is the application of organic Petroganik fertilizer with 3 levels, namely: P1 = 5 g/plant. P2= 5.5 g/plant. P3= 6 g/plant. While factor 2 is the provision of husk charcoal as a planting medium with 3 levels, namely: A1 = Soil and husk charcoal 3:1. A2= Soil and husk charcoal 2:2. A3= Soil and husk charcoal 1:3. From these two factorials, 9 treatment combinations were obtained. The treatment was repeated 3 times and obtained 27 treatment combination units. The variables observed included plant height, number of leaves, number of branches, and fresh weight. The results of the analysis of variance showed that there was a significant effect on the combination of treatment with husk charcoal as a planting medium and the addition of organic fertilizer on all observation variables (plant height, number of leaves, number of branches, and fresh weight).

Abstract

BUMDes Melati adalah BUMDes yang aktif di Desa Daramista, Kecamatan Lenteng, Kabupaten Sumenep sejak tahun 2019. Namun, BUMDes tersebut belum mampu berkontribusi terhadap Pendapatan Asli Desa (PADes) karena unit usaha yang dijalankan tidak sesuai potensi lokal desa dan kebutuhan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi lokal Desa Daramista, menentukan prioritas kriteria dan sub kriteria dalam pemilihan unit usaha BUMDes Melati, dan menentukan alternatif prioritas unit usaha BUMDes Melati. Metode analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat lima unit usaha yang dapat dikembangkan oleh BUMDes yaitu fotokopi dan ATK, produksi air kemasan, jasa pemasaran ronce melati, wisata edukasi sapi lokal, dan penggemukan sapi potong. Prioritas kriteria pemilihan unit usaha BUMDes yaitu potensi lokal desa. Sub kriteria dominan dalam pemilihan unit usaha yaitu keuntungan yang diperoleh, banyak peminat dan menjadi kebutuhan warga, infrastruktur memadai, dan keterampilan SDM. Prioritas alternatif dalam pemilihan unit usaha BUMDes Melati yaitu jasa pemasaran ronce melati.

Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti bertujuan untuk mengetahui tiga hal, yakni; (1) strategi pengembangan pelatian di P4S Alam Lestari, (2) Faktor internal dan eksternal yang dimiliki P4S Alam Lestari, (3) alternatif strategi pengembangan pelatian P4S Alam Lestari. Dalam melakukan penelitian peneliti meenggunakan metode kualitatif. Metode kualitatif digunakan untuk menjelaskan hasil penelitiian secara deskriptif. Data yang berasal dari tempat pelatihan P4S Alam Lestari diambil dengan menggunakan teknik observasi dan wawancara. Setelah dilakukan pengambilan data, maka peneliti memilih data yang tepat untuk digunakan. Metode pengolahan data yang digunalan adalah metode analisis. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan maka hasil analisis SWOTmenunjukkan bahwa faktor internal yang paling berpengaruh dari segi kekuatan yaitu keindahan dan paronama dengan skor 0,36, dari segi kelemahan yaitu kurangnya sumberdaya ahli dengan skor 0,08. Faktor eksternal yang paling berpengaruh dari segi peluang yaitu ketersediaan SDM dengan skor 0,27 dan dari segi ancaman yaitu bencana alam dengan skor 0,10. Dari faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh maka P4S Alam Lestari memakai beberapa strategi dalam perusahaannya, Strategi tersebut dapat dijabarkan sebagai berikut., : 1) Strategi SO yaitu P4S atau pelatihan pertanian luar kota, meningkatkan kualitas pelatihan untuk menjaga peserta pelatihan, permintaan konsumen yang meningkat ketika hari-hari besar, memanfaatkan media sosial dengan maksimal untuk mengetahui informasi terkini mengenai pertanian organik dan pertanian modern 2). Strategi WO yaitu melakukan promosi melalui media sosial, membuat tempat pelatihan lrbih bervariatif, bekerjasama dan memperluas jaringan pelatihan pertanian 3).Strategi ST yaitu menjaga standar mutu dan kualitas pertanian selalu memberikan pelayanan terbaik 3). Strategi WT yaitu meng-upgrade teknologi proses pertanian, meningkatkan manajemen SDM. Kata Kunci: strategi pengembangan pelatihan, P4S Alam Lestari, Analisis SWOT

Abstract

Fertilizer is a supporting component in the agricultural sector which has the most important role to improve agriculture in Indonesia, this happens because farmers realize that the role of fertilizer greatly influences agricultural yields. Farmers' dependence on fertilizers is getting bigger when the government succeeds in developing agriculture through food self-sufficiency. The need for agricultural production continues to increase along with the increasing rate of population growth, resulting in the need for fertilizer also increasing. This situation forces fertilizer producers to produce optimally in order to meet market demand. This study aims to explain the strategy for distributing subsidized fertilizers in Wonotirto District so that it can help farmers in terms of providing subsidized fertilizer according to the needs of farmers and according to what has been determined in the RDKK (Definitive Plan for Group Needs).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the interaction of NPK fertilizer and cow urine on the growth and yield of cucumber plants. To determine the best dose of NPK fertilizer on the growth and yield of mentimub plants, to determine the dosage of cow urine that is suitable for the growth and yield of cucumber plants. This research was conducted using factorial randomized block design (RBD) with 2 factors, the first factor was the dose of NPK fertilizer (N) consisting of 3 levels, namely 250 kg / ha (N1), 350 kg / ha (N2) 450 kg / ha (N3). The second factor is a cow urine dose of three systemf, namely: 300 ml / plot (U1), 400 ml / plot (U2), 500 ml / plot (U3). The observed variables include leaf area, diameter stem, fruit length, amount of fruit, and fruit weight. Data were analyzed using variance analysis (ANOVA) level of 5% and further testing with Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The results showed that: There was no real interaction between NPK doses and cow urine fertilizer on the growth and yield of cucumber plants. The treatment of NPK fertilizer dose of 250 kg / ha (N2) significantly affected the length of the fruit. The best length of fruit yield was 20,7033 cm 2 harvest age 51 HST and the best fruit yield weight was 450 kg / ha amounting to 3367.11 g. in all harvests.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan finansial dari usaha pengolahan gula aren Bapak Nazarudin. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus dan dilakukan di Desa Aer Tenang Kecamatan Karang Baru Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 1 orang. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Untuk mengetahui kelayakan usaha pengolahan gula aren Bapak Nazarudin di Desa Aer Tenang Kecamatan Karang Baru Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang dilakukan menggunakan Analisis Pendapatan dan Analisis Kelayakan Finansial yaitu Net Present Value (NPV), Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Dan Payback Period (PP). Hasil penelitian ini memperoleh total biaya produksi sebesar Rp.19.935.000/Tahun. Total pendapatan yang diperoleh sebesar Rp.11.265.000/Tahun, dengan demikian usaha pengolahan gula aren Bapak Nazarudin dinyatakan layak secara finansial. Berdasarkan nilai Net Present Value (NPV) sebesar Rp.26.163.298/Tahun dengan kriteria NPV > 0 maka usaha tersebut layak. Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C) sebesar Rp.2,63 yang artinya setiap pengeluaran untuk biaya produksi sebesar 1 maka usaha tersebut layak. Internal Rate of Return (IRR) 0,6495 atau 64,95% dengan kriteria IRR > DF 10,5% maka usaha layak untuk dijalankan. Payback period (PP) 1,42 tahun. Dilihat dari sisi kriteria kelayakan investasi PP usaha pengolahan gula aren di Desa Aer Tenang Kecamatan Karang Baru Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang layak untuk dijalankan.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the effect of differences in melon cultivation in two greenhouse construction designs which provide the best results on the growth and yield of melon plants (Cucumis melo L.). The research was conducted from July to September 2022 at the Balitar Islamic University of Blitar Greenhouse. The design used is a dependent analysis method which tests the relationship between independent variables. The analysis technique used is the parametric t-test. The t-test difference test was carried out on two category groups with the condition of two paired sample groups (paired sample t-test). The variables observed were plant height (cm), number of side shoots (strands), stem diameter (cm) and fresh fruit weight (gr). The results showed that the Greenhouse 1 (GH1) design provided an agro-climatic environment that was more in line with the environment needed by the melon plants significantly compared to the GH2 design so as to provide better melon plant growth and better yields. The average fruit fresh weight for melon plants cultivated in GH1 was 1008.52 grams of side shoots which was significantly better than in GH2 which was 968.32 grams.

Abstract

This study is intended to determine the income of farmers (Coffea arabica) in Sumbermanjing Wetan District, Malang Regency, and the level of efficiency or feasibility of arabica coffee farming (Coffea arabica) in Sumbermanjing Wetan District, Malang Regency.The analysis method used is farm income analysis and farm efficiency/feasibility analysis. The number of samples in this study was 25 people who were arabica coffee farmers (Coffea arabica) in Sumbermanjing Wetan District, Malang Regency. Data collection using questionnaire method as primary data source and literature related to research. The results of the analysis show that (1) The income of Arabica Coffee Farming (Coffea arabica) in Sumbermanjing District, Malang Regency which is the result of a reduction between the total average revenue (TR) and the total average production cost (TC) of Rp 18.136.800,-. This means that the first hypothesis in this study is true, namely arabica coffee farming (Coffea arabica) in Sumbermanjing Wetan District, Malang Regency, profitable; (2) The R/C ratio of arabica coffee farming (Coffea arabica) in Sumbermanjing Wetan District, Malang Regency is 2,82. Based on the R/C ratio criteria, if the R/C ratio value is more than 1, then the farm is eligible for farming. So, in accordance with these criteria, it can be known that arabica coffee farming (Coffea arabica) in Sumbermanjing Wetan District, Malang Regency is feasible for farming. This means that the second hypothesis in this study is correct, namely usahatani arabica coffee (Coffea arabica) in Sumbermanjing Wetan District, Malang Regency is worth farming.

Abstract

The aim of the research was to determine whether there was a real interaction effect of Azolla POC concentration and the time interval of POC administration on the yield and growth of Pakcoy plants. The research used a Randomized Group Design (RAK) arranged factorially including 2 factors which were repeated 3 times. Factor I is the nutrient dose of Azolla liquid organic fertilizer which consists of 3 levels 4 namely D1: 0 ml/1 water, D1: 2 ml/l water, D2: 4 ml/l water, D3: 6ml/l water and Factor II is Time interval for application of 3 level Azolla liquid organic fertilizer. S1: Application time interval 2 days, S2: Application time interval 4 days, S3: Application time interval 6 days. Plant height (cm) was observed at 0, 7, 14, 21, 28, 35 HST, measured using a meter. The number of leaves at 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 WAP and leaf width at 0, 7, 14, 21, 28, 35 HST were measured using a tape measure. Accumulated fruit weight per plant (grams) The wet fruit weight of Pokcoy plants is determined by weighing all parts of the plant (roots, stems, leaves). Plants were weighed one by one using an analytical balance. Observational data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) with a level of α = 0.05 and if there were significant differences between treatments then a further test was carried out using the DMRT test (Duncan's Multiple Range Test) at a level of α = 0.05. The results of research that have been carried out have concluded that there is a real interaction between the concentration of Azolla liquid organic fertilizer (D) and the time interval for POC application on the growth and yield of Pak Choy plants. The best treatment combination for plant height variables; number of leaves; leaf area is the D2S2 treatment, namely the combination treatment of azolla POC concentration of 4 ml/L and the POC application time interval of 4 days, while for plant fresh weight the best combination is D2S3, namely the combination treatment of 6 ml Azolla POC concentration and 4 day POC application time interval with weight. fresh plants amounting to 58.17 grams.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the interaction between planting media composition and dosage of Nasa liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of eggplant (Solanum melongena L) var. YuvitaF1. The research was carried out in Dukuh Jlimut, Plosokerep Village, Sananwetan District, Blitar City with an altitude of 150-200 in March – June 2023. The research used a 2 factorial Randomized Block Design. Factor I is the composition of the planting medium (M) which consists of 3 levels, namely M1: soil: Goat kohe fertilizer (5:1), M2: Soil: Rice husks: Goat kohe (3:2:1), M3: Soil: Cocopeat : Kohe Goat (3:2:1). Factor II is the dose of Nasa POC fertilizer (P) which consists of 4 levels, namely P1 = 0 ml/polybag (without POC fertilizer), P2: 3 ml/polybag, P3: 6 ml/polybag and P4: 9 ml/polybag . The experiment was repeated 3 times so there were 36 experimental units. The variables observed were plant height (cm), number of fruit and fruit weight at harvest (grams). The average observation results were analyzed using a variance test (α = 5%) and followed by a 5% Honestly Significant Difference Test (BNJ). The research results showed that there was a real interaction between the composition of the planting medium (M) and the Nasa POC dose (P) on the variables of plant height, number of fruit and fruit weight of eggplant plants. The best results were obtained in the M1 planting media composition treatment (soil: goat kohe with a ratio of 5:1) and a Nasa POC dose of 6 ml/polybag (M1P3) for these 3 variables.
