Abstract

The goals of this study are to investigate and describe what kinds of transitivity processes were proposed by Halliday and how they reveal in Joe Biden’s first annual speech. The data in this study comes from the textual script of Joe Biden’s speech on a web page. The descriptive qualitative method was used in this study, as well as data-gathering strategies such as observation and documentation. The procedures of identifying, classifying, and analyzing were used to analyze the data. There are five types of transitivity processes found by the researcher, namely mental process, material process, verbal process, relational process, and existential process as the results of this study where the findings show that mental processes appear the most in the script of Joe Biden’s first annual public speech with a portion of 44.75%, amounting to 81 times the utterances appeared. It also means that Joe Biden’s leadership involves a lot of affection processes related to feelings or senses, as evidenced by the mental processes that appear the most in the annual speech.

Abstract

Violence that occurs in the household is a specific or special thing. The specificity lies in the relationship between the perpetrator and the victim, namely the relationship within the family and work relationship. The forms of domestic violence are: physical violence, psychological violence, sexual violence, economic violence. There was no correlation between the factors of occurrence of domestic violence between economic problems, number of children, extramarital affairs, axcessive jealousy and excessive emotions. The aim of this research is to find out legal protection efforts for women as victims of domestic violence in Medan city. The research method in this paper is normative with a statutory and conceptual approach. Meanwhile, the specification of this research is analytical descriptive. The data used secoundary data from primary legal materials in the from of laws and regulations such as Law Number 23 of 2004 conecerning the Elimination of Domestic violence (UU PKDRT). But in reality tharee victims are still complicated by all the existingregulations. So that there are still many criminal acts of domestic violence.

Abstract

Online gambling is a game that is carried out using money as a bet with the terms of the game and the amount of bets determined by online gamblers and using electronic media with internet access as an intermediary. One example of online gambling that is popular with today's society, namely online soccer gambling. This research method uses qualitative methods with a library approach. This study aims to examine how legal evidence is involved in criminal acts related to online soccer gambling cases. The results of this study state that online gambling law enforcement uses the instrument Article 303 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) instead of Article 27 paragraph (2) Jo. Article 45 of the Information Technology and Electronics Law (UU ITE). The threat of imprisonment under Article 303 of the Criminal Code is 10 years, heavier than Article 27 (2) Jo. Article 45 Law on Information Technology and Electronics.

Abstract

Education is a means that is very important for human survival, this is because education is a sector that can create human intelligence in carrying out their lives, the importance of education so that all necessities of life can easily be obtained. The development of information technology is currently reaching all areas of people's lives, including the field of education. Even education in the era of society 5.0, allows students or students in learning activities side by side with robots that have been designed to replace the role of educators. So what about the education system in Indonesia? This paper examines the role of education in empowering life through developing the younger generation of society 5.0.

Abstract

Sports education has an important role in strengthening the empowerment of the younger generation, especially in the context of the 5.0 Society era. The Era of Society 5.0 refers to the fusion of the physical world and the digital world, where information and communication technologies are rapidly developing and shaping the interaction between people and technology. The purpose of this study is to provide a deep understanding of the importance of sports education in strengthening the empowerment of the younger generation in the era of Society 5.0. Provide insight into the use of information and communication technology as well as innovative approaches in sports education that can increase its effectiveness in achieving the goal of empowering the younger generation. This study uses qualitative research methods that involve the following steps: literature review, research design, data collection, data analysis, and interpretation and discussion of research results. The sample in this study was second semester students, amounting to 50 students of the 2022 batch of the Physical Education and Recreation Study Program at Nahdlatul Ulama Sunan Giri University, Bojonegoro. The results showed that sports education has a positive impact on the physical and mental health of the younger generation. As many as 80% of respondents revealed that sports education has a positive effect on their physical and mental health. 70% also consider sports education to be an important contribution to their social and emotional development. A total of 65% of respondents believe that sports education can prepare them for the challenges at hand. Summary Sports Education has an important role in facilitating the learning and empowerment of young people. Active interaction between sports educators and the younger generation, diverse teaching approaches, as well as positive group dynamics are important factors in creating an effective sports education environment. sports education is an important element in preparing young people to face changes in the era of modern society.

Abstract

Education has an important role in the information and knowledge era, where rapid changes occur in many areas of life. Mind, knowledge and organization are important factors in the information and knowledge age. Society 5.0 is based on the concept of integration between humans and technology, in which technology is used as a means to improve the quality of human life. In the current era of development, especially when faced with an increasingly globalized and competitive life situation, high-quality Indonesian human resources are urgently needed. Without having high Human Resources (HR) capabilities and being able to compete with other nations in the world, it will only lead to a disadvantageous position, especially in order to achieve an improved life. Especially nowadays, the millennial generation has its own challenges facing the revolutionary era of Digital Society 5.0. Most of them grow and develop through education, so that education becomes a vehicle for the development of the millennial generation. For this reason, competent human resources are needed as assets for the process of developing the millennial generation who are ready for problems and challenges. Thus, human resources become an important part of the process of developing education for the millennial generation. Therefore, in the era of society 5.0, the tendency of society to prioritize the role of systems that are converted by the role of humans in supporting educational activities.

Abstract

Technological advances in the context of improving the standard of human life have brought major changes to the implementation of the contract for the carriage of goods between the sender and the carrier of goods. The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze the legal consequences of default on goods transport agreements. This type of research is normative with a statutory approach. The data used is secondary data consisting of primary and secondary legal materials. As a result of default in the agreement on the transportation of goods, the party who feels aggrieved can claim compensation for the loss he has suffered. Settlement can be done by way of litigation and non-litigation. For this reason, it is recommended that the parties bound by the agreement for the carriage of goods carry out the agreement in good faith so that there is no default.

Abstract

This article offers an integrated theoretical and policy-oriented framework for cross-cultural conflict resolution by exploring the relationship between conflict resolution styles and a crisis communication strategy with an emphasis on conflict and structure cross-cultural factors. Conflict Handling with BPODT crisis communication against the law of the Sigapiton indigenous people as Sigapiton land owners as a case study, the factors inherent in the conflict are mixed with respect for the characteristics of the Batak culture. The suitability of the Batak cultural context with integrative conflict management is explored. This Research is qualitative research, in this article use media reports, documents and interview in collecting data. The analysis shows that the use mediators and consideration of cultural approaches and respect for the history of the people who live on Sigapiton land are resources in interpersonal interactions among the Sigapiton indigenous peoples, tending to contribute to integrative conflict solutions.

Abstract

The regulation regarding narcotics according to Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics regulates efforts to eradicate narcotics crimes through threats of fines, imprisonment, and life imprisonment and death penalty and for this it stipulates criminal sanctions for the abuse of narcotics caught in articles 54 and 127 against abuse of illegal drugs based on Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics. So that one of the considerations that must be upheld by the authorities, especially the government and legislative institutions that make laws as a deterrent effect, frightening effect, relative effect, but also aims to protect the future of a nation. Restorative Justice is an approach model that appears in efforts to resolve criminal cases. In contrast to the approach used in the conventional justice system which focuses more on the deterrent effect for the perpetrators of crime (woman offender), this approach focuses more on the direct participation of perpetrators, victims and also the community in the process of settling criminal cases.At present, restorative justice is really needed in solving various types of crimes, especially certain crimes which if handled retributively do not provide significant benefits, but instead cause new losses for both victims and the state, including in this case, namely narcotics crimes in particular. non-dealer users.

Abstract

Destroying other people's property is very detrimental to the owner of the goods, whether the goods are damaged only partially or completely, so that the owner of the goods can no longer use his property. Factors that influence a person to commit a crime are psychological and environmental factors. Destruction is ensnared in Article 406 of the Criminal Code and those who are classified or considered as non-criminal perpetrators are at least 4 types as regulated in Article 55 of the Criminal Code. This research was made aiming to explain criminal responsibility for the destruction of light goods based on the concept of justice. This research method uses qualitative methods with a normative approach such as through laws and library approach. The data used is secondary data consisting of primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. The results of the study show that in order to achieve justice, the punishment for the perpetrators of the destruction of goods is compensation for the victim.
