Abstract

Background: The impact of free sex on adolescents is physical danger, such as being exposed to venereal diseases (sexually transmitted diseases/STDs) and HIV/AIDS as well as the dangers of unwanted early pregnancy. In 2020, Central Sulawesi Province reported as many as 367 cases of HIV Positive, Unwanted Pregnancy (KTD) in adolescents as many as 24 people. Objective: to determine the effect of counseling on adolescent knowledge about the impact of free sex at Middle School 6 Palu. Methods: Pre-experiment with one group pretest-posttest design. using the Lemeshow formula. The population of all class x students at SMAN 6 Palu is 185 people, and the sample is 126 by proportional random sampling. The analysis consisted of univariate and bivariate with Wilcoxon test. Results: Before being given counseling, it showed that there was a lack of knowledge of adolescents about the impact of free sex, but after being given counseling, adolescent knowledge increased, with a p-value of 0.000 p-value <0.05, meaning that there was an effect of counseling on the impact of free sex in SMA Negeri 6 Hammers. Conclusion: Counseling can increase adolescent knowledge about the impact of free sex in SMA Negeri 6 Palu. Suggestions can be carried out periodically to prevent free sex behavior in adolescents.

Abstract

Background: Dysmenorrhea is a disorder that occurs during menstruation and often occurs in adolescent girls, causing feelings of anxiety and negative beliefs about menstrual pain, the incidence of dysmenorrhea in adolescents with a prevalence of 43% to 93%. Purpose: Effect of counseling on knowledge and attitudes of adolescents daughter about dysmenorrhea at MTsN model Palu. Methods: This type of analytic research with a pre-experimental design the one group pretest-posttest design. The total population of this study were all students of class VII and VIII of MTSN Palu Model as many as 309, the sample size used the slovin formula, the sample size was 76 respondents, and the sampling technique used proportional stratified random sampling. The sample was taken by lottery technique. The analysis used the Wilcoxon test through a computerized system. Results: There was an increase in knowledge of 69.7% and an increase in attitude of 63.5% after being given counseling. Statistical test has the effect of counseling on increasing knowledge and attitudes of young women about dysmenorrhea (r = 0.000 < α =0.05). Conclusion: Counseling affects the knowledge and attitudes of young women about dysmenorrhea at MTsN Model Palu. Suggestions need to do research with different variables.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Anemia is a condition where the level of hemoglobin (HB) in the blood is lower than normal. Blood women suffer from anemia from 37.1% in 2013 to 39.1% in 2018. Menstruation is one of the factors that cause anemia at this time women lose a lot. SMP 19 Palu has never received education about preventing anemia during menstruation which affects the knowledge of adolescent girls in an effort to prevent anemia. This study aims to analyze the effect of education using leaflets about preventing anemia during menstruation on the knowledge of adolescent girls at SMP 19 Palu. This research method is Pre Experiment with One Group Pretest Posttest Design, the research population is all students of class VII, VIII, IX, totaling 125 students. The sample in this study were 35 female students. Sampling was done by Simple Random Sampling. The results of the pre-test were only one person with good knowledge and 24 people with sufficient knowledge. In the post test 31 people with good knowledge and 4 people with sufficient knowledge got a score of 17.50 and a p-value of 0.000. can: education using leaflets can improve adolescent girls about preventing anemia during menstruation. It is recommended that the school provide education using leaflet media to increase knowledge of preventing anemia during menstruation.

Abstract

Background: The incidence of premature rupture of membranes (PROM) ranges from 3-18% in preterm pregnancies, while in term pregnancies it is around 8-10%. PROM case data at the Poso Regional General Hospital (RSUD) from 2017 to 2020 has fluctuated. In 2017 there were 534 cases, in 2018 there were 452 cases and in 2019 there were 773 cases.Objective: This study was to describe the characteristics of mothers giving birth with PROM at Poso Hospital. Methods: Descriptive by using secondary data. The sample size was 142 pregnant women who experienced premature rupture of membranes in 2020 at Poso Hospital using the total sampling technique. Data were analyzed by univariate test. Results: The highest distribution of PROM incidence was in mothers aged 20-35 years, based on parity, the highest were multiparas, and the highest was based on work, namely mothers who did not work suggestions for the Poso Hospital, especially for medical record officers to complete patient data thoroughly.

Abstract

Background: Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women, is a malignant tumor that grows in breast tissue. Data from the Health Office of Central Sulawesi, the percentage of tumors/lumps in 2018 was 0.18%. in 2019 0.2%. in 2020 increased 0.4%. One of the efforts to detect breast cancer early is BSE. Purpose To know the effect of health education on the level of knowledge and attitudes of young women about early detection of breast cancer through Breast Self Examination in the Huntap Tondo area. Methods The type of research is quasi-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample was young women aged 14-19 years totaling 55 respondents taken by purposive sampling. The research instrument used a standardized questionnaire with a total of 20 knowledge questions and 10 attitudes. The research was conducted on 2-5 July in Huntap Tondo. The analysis used the Wilcoxon signed rank test. Results showed that the knowledge of young women with a mean pretest value of 9.6 and a mean posttest value of 17.3 (p = 0.000 <0.05). The attitude of young women with a mean pretest value of 20.8 and a mean posttest value of 35.7 (p = 0.000 <0.05). Conclusion There is an effect of health education on the knowledge and attitudes of young women about early detection of breast cancer through Breast Self-Examination. It is expected that young women in the Huntap Tondo area will continue to improve their knowledge and attitudes toward preventing breast cancer by participating in counseling and being active in youth Posyandu activities.

Abstract

The way parents educate and raise children is influenced by several factors including culture, religion, habits and personality of parents. An active role in child development is needed, especially when a child is 1 year old. This study aims to determine the relationship between parenting style and the development of children aged 1 year. This type of research is analytic correlation with a cross sectional approach. From the results of the study, it was found that the majority (52.5%) of respondents who implemented autorative parenting styles fully (100%) experienced appropriate developments and nearly half (37.5%) of the total respondents adopted deviant parenting patterns, almost half experienced developments. appropriate and most (67%) experienced the development of deviations. From this study it can be seen that most of the respondents applying authorative parenting experienced appropriate developments. Parents need to know and understand in applying parenting styles that are appropriate to the child's developmental stage.

Abstract

Background The Central Sulawesi Provincial Health Office noted that until April 7 2021 the number of Covid-19 patients was 11,424. Palu City occupies the maximum number of patients with 3,042 people. One of the groups at risk of exposure to Covid-19 is pregnant women. During the pandemic, pregnant women felt more comfortable doing examinations at the Independent Midwife Practice Place (TPMB) for fear of contracting Covid-19. Purpose This research is to find out the relationship between knowledge and attitudes in pregnant women's behavior toward the prevention of Covid-19 at the Mandiri Midwife Amanah Practice. Methods This quantitative research uses a cross-sectional design using 53 samples of pregnant women who visited TPMB Amanah from June to July 2021. Samples were taken accidentally using a questionnaire instrument. Univariate (frequency distribution) and bivariate data analysis using the kai square test reported in tabular and. Results The research found that most of the respondents had good knowledge, namely 22 respondents (41.5%), had a positive attitude 35 respondents (66%), and behaved not doing 3M totaling 30 respondents (56.6%) with a p-value ≤ 0, 05, which is 0.000. Conclusion There is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes regarding the behavior of pregnant women in preventing Covid-19. It is recommended to actively seek reliable information regarding the prevention of transmission of Covid-19 and get used to carrying out the stages of preventing

Abstract

Child marriage is a marriage performed by youth under the age of 19. There were 27 cases of child marriage in 2019 in Sigi Biromaru District and in 2020 there has been an increase of 46 cases. Purpose This study aims to examine the impact caused by child marriage in Kalukubula Village Method This type of research uses a qualitative phenomenological approach. The population in this study were all women who had child marriages in the village of Kalukubula. Informant collection techniques in this study using Snowball Sampling. Data were collected by in-depth interview techniques using interview guidelines. The informants in this study were 10 informants, 5 main informants, namely women who had child marriages, 4 parents as key informants, and the head of KUA as additional informants. Results obtained are that the impact of child marriage is Psychological Impact, stress due to unpreparedness in managing the household and in taking care of children, Biological Impact, is an impact that occurs on health, economic impact, due to difficulties in finding work due to low educational status, Impact Education is one of the impacts of child marriage due to dropping out of school so that when married it is difficult to find jobs. Conclusion Child marriage in Kalukubula Village has psychological, biological, economic and educational impacts. It is recommended that local government parents prevent child marriage from occurring.

Abstract

Background: Anemia is a problem that occurs in young women which results in decreased productivity, mental development, and intelligence. Based on the Indonesian Basic Health Research, the prevalence of anemia in young women has increased from 2013 (22.7%) to 2018 (32%). Objective: to determine the relationship between diet and menstrual cycle with anemia in young women at State Senior High School (SMAN) 7 Palu City. Methods: observational analytic, using a cross-sectional approach. The number of samples is 45 young women with random sampling technique. Data were analyzed by univariate test and bivariate test. Bivariate test analysis using the Chi-Square test. Results: Analysis of the relationship between eating patterns and anemia in female adolescents OR 3.238 (p=0.058). Analysis of the relationship between the menstrual cycle and anemia in young women OR 5.950 (= 0.007). Conclusion: There is an effect of health education with leaflet media on women's knowledge about cervical cancer screening. It is expected that health workers will regularly provide health education

Abstract

Background Data in the working area of the Ongka Health Center UPTD Based on Toddlers aged 24-59 months totaled 826 toddlers with 77 stunted toddlers (9.3%). The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the risk of stunting in toddlers aged 24-59 months in the UPTD Work Area of the Ongka Health Center. Methods Case-control method, the population of all mothers who have toddlers at the Ongka Health Center is 826 toddlers. Sample with a ratio of 1:2, the case group is 77 toddlers who are stunted and the control group is 154 toddlers who are not stunted, the sample size is 77+154 = 231, toddlers. The instrument used is secondary data on the history of exclusive breastfeeding for toddlers. Univariate data analysis using frequency distribution and bivariate with Chi-Square test. The result of the statistical test for the p-value is 0.003 with a significant value of ≤0.05. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the risk of stunting in toddlers aged 24-59 months in the working area of the UPTD Puskesmas Ongka. Health workers are expected to increase the provision of information and attention to the risk factors for exclusive breastfeeding with the incidence of stunting and increase the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in the work area of the Service Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) of the Ongka Health Center.
