Abstract

This study aims to implement the Port Knocking security method in a local network using MikroTik RouterOS. The Port Knocking method is employed to enhance system security by closing access to specific ports in the network and only allowing access to these ports when a predefined sequence of port knocks is performed. The research encompasses several stages, including the analysis of the port data to be tested, the configuration of the MikroTik router, and the security system testing. The results of this study demonstrate the successful securing of the Winbox and WWW ports on the MikroTik server using the Port Knocking method. Users are required to execute the predetermined port knocking sequence before accessing these services. Furthermore, the Port Knocking method effectively blocks ping access to the MikroTik server for users who have not completed the authentication process. These findings indicate that the implementation of the Port Knocking method significantly enhances the local network security on the MikroTik server.

Abstract

Restricting internet access at certain hours allows for more efficient allocation of network resources and bandwidth. This limitation ensures that internet usage is not excessive, preventing the network from slowing down or being burdened by unproductive activities during critical hours. The research methodology employed involves the analysis of hardware and software requirements, network topology design, and network configuration. The research findings demonstrate the effectiveness of limiting internet access at specific times, supporting remote learning, and enhancing internet usage efficiency. System testing was conducted on Windows 10 and Debian 10, demonstrating the successful implementation of the scheduled blocking system. Although successful in simulation, this study has the potential to provide further benefits in real-world network environments.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a web-based pharmacy information system to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of services in pharmacies. This web-based pharmacy information system has the potential to provide significant benefits in medication management, including accurate information about medications, improved inventory management, and enhanced patient care. The development method used in this research is the waterfall model, which includes stages such as requirements analysis, system design, coding, implementation, and testing. By using this method, the pharmacy information system was successfully designed and implemented, incorporating essential features such as medication data management, purchase and sales transactions, and reports that support efficient pharmacy management. The results of system testing show that the pharmacy information system functions well and meets expectations. This system facilitates users in managing medication data and transactions in the pharmacy. With this information system, pharmacy managers can operate their businesses more efficiently and provide better service to customers.

Abstract

This study discusses a web-based waste management transportation information system that adopts effective waste management concepts and strategies with the principle of reduce, reuse, recycle (3R) as a priority in waste management. The purpose of this research is to enhance public participation in waste management by providing relevant information, services, and resources through a website. The main features of this system include the management of community data, waste data, personnel data, and transaction data. Black box testing was conducted to ensure that the system's functionality complies with the specified requirements. The results of the testing demonstrate that the system operates effectively and is ready for comprehensive utilization. By adopting information technology in waste management, this system has the potential to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and environmental awareness, thus contributing to addressing waste management challenges sustainably.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an efficient and effective web-based Student Development Contribution (SPP) payment information system and test its performance in enhancing the speed, accuracy, and precision of SPP payment report generation. The Agile methodology is employed for system development, emphasizing flexibility and adaptability to address potential future requirements. The findings indicate successful development of the web-based SPP payment information system. The conducted tests confirm its ability to deliver optimal performance, safeguard sensitive data effectively, and function in accordance with specified requirements. The system enhances administrative efficiency in SPP payment processes at educational institutions by ensuring accurate data management, swift payment processing, and responsiveness to changing needs.
