Abstract

Cases of bullying in the world of education in Indonesia are increasingly concerning. This is shown by the results of a 2014 study by the National Consortium for Character School Development which stated that bullying cases occur in almost every school in Indonesia. This case has a negative impact on various aspects of the lives of children who receive bullying and must be minimized as early as possible. Some literature mentions bullying in several parts, namely verbal, nonverbal and psychological bullying. One method that is effective in minimizing the occurrence of bullying is instilling Tat Twam Asi values ​​from an early age. This article uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach related to instilling Tat Twam Asi values ​​in early childhood in order to minimize bullying. Tat Twam Asi as the basis for Hindu ethics is a guide for moral improvement. Tat Twam Asi teaches equality between human beings, so bullying or bullying is not allowed. On the contrary, Tat Twam Asi emphasizes the love between human beings, this can be seen from its definition that Tat Twam Asi means it is you. One should love one another as one loves oneself.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) is a level of education before basic education as well as a form of education that focuses on laying the foundation for physical growth and development, namely motor coordination and intelligence which includes thinking power, creativity, emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence. social emotional conditions (attitudes, behavior, and religion) as well as language and communication. This has a very positive impact on various aspects of early childhood. Some literature states that early childhood education is very exciting for children about the world of education with various positive activities. This article uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach related to the role of Taman Baca Ancepat. Andefini Reading Park is a learning group formed as a form of concern for education in East Nusa Tenggara, especially in Bijeli Village, Noemuti District, North Central Timor Regency.

Abstract

Early childhood is said to be in the golden age. This period is a period where children grow and develop very rapidly, both physically and psychologically. Flexibility is one of the components of physical condition that has an important role, including supporting activities of daily activities. Asana is a state of the body in a steady state, calm, relaxed, and comfortable both physically and mentally (Sarasvati, 2002). For children who are in their infancy, yoga asana is very good to do because it trains physically and mentally holistically where yoga affects the function of the nervous system, endocrine glands, all organs can be involved in it including muscles, bones, nerves, glands, roads. respiratory, exhaust and circulatory system as appropriate. Yoga movements are also believed to bring joy to children. This article uses qualitative research methods with literature studies or literature studies that examine the practice of yoga asanas to increase flexibility in early childhood. Yoga helps children build flexibility strength by training flexibility in both weak and stiff children.

Abstract

The educational process given to early childhood both education related to character development, religious education is a basic foundation in forming and building future generations of the nation. These religious and ethical values ​​can be found in various epics. In the teachings of Hinduism there are so many stories or stories that can be used as guidelines or references in developing children's character. The purpose of this study is to explain and examine epics that can be used in the development and inculcation of Hindu values ​​in early childhood. This study uses the literature study method in this case, namely data obtained by conducting studies from various sources of literature. The results of the study show that the inculcation of Hindu religious values ​​in character development in early childhood is very effective, because in Hindu epics there are many stories of heroes who are able to create an attraction for children to listen to, there are also values ​​that can foster a child's character. For example, in the epic Rāmāyaņa which provides a lot of information and learning about moral and ethical values. The inculcation of Hindu religious values ​​in early childhood through Wiracarita is very important, given the increasingly advanced technological developments so it is rare to find parents who tell stories found in Hindu literature and are more focused on using social media such as Youtube.

Abstract

Character education is an effort to develop personality values ​​based on a nation's view of life which is reflected through cultural values ​​and characters that grow in a nation. Advances in technology have had a major impact on aspects of life, especially education. The development of this technology must be accompanied by character education because it is very important to be taught from the level of early childhood education, because this is a good start to shape the future generation of a nation to grow and develop. One of the effective methods used in developing the character values ​​of Tri Hita Karana in early childhood is to use the storytelling method. This article uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach related to instilling the values ​​of Tri Hita Karana in early childhood. The application of the teachings of Tri Hita Karana from an early age is also important because in early childhood the brain experiences the fastest development phase. The brain will retain any experience or information that is most frequently repeated and discard those that take place only once and without high emotional context. To understand the analysis of character education based on Tri Hita Karana, the author describes starting from the cultivation of character education values ​​at the early childhood education level and the analysis process of Tri Hita Karana at the early childhood education level.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the pedagogic competence of teachers in the socio-emotional development of children aged 5-6 years and what causes the pedagogic competence of teachers to be not optimal in the socio-emotional development of children aged 5-6 years and the efforts that teachers can make in optimizing the pedagogic competence of teachers in developing emotional social of children aged 5-6 years. The research method uses descriptive qualitative methods. Data was collected by observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation, data verification and confidence testing using data triangulation. The results of this study are the pedagogic competence of teachers in the social emotional development of children aged 5-6 years can be said to be optimal with the help of teachers and the assistance of facilities and infrastructure as well as their cohesiveness in carrying out cooperation in making lesson plans. Although there are inhibiting factors in implementing good pedagogic competencies, namely the educational status of teachers, factors from infrastructure and school administration factors.
