<![CDATA[The industrial sector is considered as one of the biggest polluters and waste generators. Since the big industry started, pollution has increased rapidly. The result of the production process is not only in the form of finished goods that can be sold, but the remaining production waste can damage the environment. The purpose of this study is to describe the sociological impacts of the existence of the rice milling industry. This researcher used a literature study by reading, processing, and writing readings from various reference sources. The results of the study show that this industry has a positive impact on improving the welfare of the community and for the benefits of industrial owners. In addition, it has a negative impact on the environment, for workers, and for the surrounding community. So that prevention and control are needed from the workers themselves, the government through policy formation, control from the surrounding community and the creation of an industrial climate by taking into account Environmental Impact Analysis, environmentally friendly industries and the principles of eco-efficiency and zero waste.]]>

<![CDATA[The existence of an advocacy institution is crucial as an independent institution that is outside the government. Law becomes an essential entity in protecting human rights. This study aims to examine the existence of legal aid institutions in Indonesia and their implications for the legal awareness of the Indonesian people in the study of the sociology of law. This research is socio-legal research with a statutory regulation approach. This study found that the existence of legal aid institutions in Indonesia has been recognized by Law Number 16 of 2011 concerning Legal Aid and Law Number 18 of 2003 concerning Advocates. Because of this legal umbrella, it is hoped that all people can access justice through legal aid institutions to achieve justice for all levels of society without exception.]]>

<![CDATA[The Pattallassang Tombolo Pao community is the focus of this research project, which investigates the use of homonyms in the Konjo language and the differences in the meanings of terms used by that community. This study aims to explore specific terms that, despite their seemingly identical spellings and pronunciations, are understood to convey very diverse connotations in the Konjo language. In this study, a descriptive qualitative method was used to conduct research utilizing a case study approach, and a literature review was also conducted. Interviews and written documentation were the methods of data collection for this study. The findings of this study showed that there are 23 homonym words in the Konjo language, which is used by the people who live in the Pattallassang Tombolo Pao community. This research also discovered one homonym with three distinct meanings despite having the exact spelling and sound. This word is called "Tappa," and it can mean either "direct," "fall," or "believe."]]>

<![CDATA[The scope of study on semantic analysis of meaning in song lyrics will involve analyzing the words and phrases used in the lyrics to understand the deeper meaning and emotions that the singer wants to convey to the listeners. This study was conducted with the aim of finding out and describing what types of meaning are contained in the lyrics of Aespa's song "life too short" based on semantic meaning studies. This study is a descriptive qualitative research where the object of this research is in the form of the text of a song entitled "life too short" by a South Korean girl group singer, namely Aespa. The method of obtaining data in this research involved utilizing a literature review approach. The lyrics of Aespa's song "life too short" were obtained from the internet. Afterward, the writer discerns the nature of the message conveyed in different segments of the song. After being analyzed based on the theory of Prof. Dr. D. Wagiman Adisutrisno, M. A. (2008), the results of this study indicate that in Aespa's song "life too short" there are two types of meaning that emerge, namely conceptual meanings and idioms. <![CDATA[After Indonesia was hit by the monetary crisis in the past 1997, the term Bankruptcy & Suspension of Debt Payment Obligations or PKPU was familiar to business actors and to the law. How could it not be, bankruptcy and PKPU are seen as effective ways for creditors to return their collectible rights from debtors who fail to pay their debts. In the midst of global progress in the business world, not a few social problems have arisen. For example, the debt problem of an incapacitated debtor. The question is how to understand bankruptcy & postponement of payment obligations from a profit and loss perspective when compared to an ordinary lawsuit? In this paper, the author provides a general and brief description of how the procedure is for bankruptcy and PKPU applications at the Commercial Court, cassation and judicial review. Including the roles of creditors, debtors, curators, supervisory judges and advocates. Also included is the history of the Commercial Courts in Indonesia and the areas of jurisdiction of commercial courts that have been formed. Not only that, this paper also discusses the pros and cons of whether it is better to use the bankruptcy process or an ordinary lawsuit if a debtor fails to pay his debts when they are due.]]>

<![CDATA[This research seeks to analyze the selection process for the General Election Commission Selection Team and the Election Supervisory Body in Indonesia from a legal perspective. Through a normative method with a statutory and conceptual approach, the results of this research conclude that the formation of the General Election Commission (KPU) and Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) selection team as regulated in article 22 jo 118 of Law No. 7 of 2017 concerning Elections which the President formed is contrary to the duties and authority The President is regulated in the 1945 Constitution because no article or paragraph explains clearly and explicitly that the President's right to form the authority to create the selection team of KPU and Bawaslu and is not in accordance with the principle of legality or the principle of the rule of law. So, the formation of the selection team is based on article 22 jo 118 of Law No. 7 2017 concerning Elections is null and void along with legal regulations or derivative legal products. There is a legal violation by the President of Article 22E paragraph (5) of the 1945 Constitution.]]>

<![CDATA[This research scrutinizes the types of swearing words in “Miracle in Cell No.7” Indonesian Movie. The researchers revisit the types of swear words theory from Andersson & Trudgill. It aims to reveal the types of swear words found in the film Miracle in Cell no.7 based on the theory applied. The research method used is interpretive qualitative with a sociolinguistic approach because the data used is in linguistic phenomena contained in the film. The main data which is most used is the phrases and swear words uttered by the main character in the film Miracle in Cell no. 7 Indonesia Movie. The data is collected using the Listening (watching) technique and recording (notetaking) the swear words in the film. The collected data is then analysed based on the theory adapted from Andersson & Trudgill. From the results of data analysis, there were found 3 (three) types of swear words. Among the four types of swear words; Abusive types, Expletive types and Humor types.]]>

<![CDATA[Democracy and human rights issues in the ASEAN region came into the focus of attention with the emergence of the Milk Tea Alliance, a cross-border movement fighting for democratic values. This article aims to explore the role of the milk tea alliance movement as a new democratic force in ASEAN and how it can be enhanced in effectiveness through adaptation to existing ASEAN norms and institutions. Methodologically, secondary data collection often involves the use of literature research techniques and is analyzed explanatory with the framework of constructivist analysis to understand the social construction of identity, norms, and political relations in ASEAN with the movement. This research shows that this movement effectively increases public awareness of democratic principles. Nonetheless, normative and institutional challenges in the ASEAN region require the implementation of adequate adaptive measures. The study presents several tactics aimed at increasing the influence of this movement in facilitating democratic progress in the ASEAN region.]]>

<![CDATA[The research we conducted here was motivated by various problems related to the purchasing power of motor vehicle consumers regarding Value Added Tax (VAT) and Sales Tax Incentives for Luxury Goods (PPnBM). This research was designed to determine consumer purchasing power. Value Added Tax (VAT) and Sales Tax Incentives for Luxury Goods (PPnBM) on motorized vehicles. The method used in this research is quantitative with the sample determination method, namely the Probability Method. This method is a method that uses area sampling and uses a purposive sampling method. The research results we obtained show that simultaneously, Value Added Tax (VAT) and Sales Tax Incentives on Luxury Goods (PPnBM) have a significant effect on the purchasing power of motor vehicle consumers. Partially Value Added Tax (VAT) significantly effects motor vehicle consumers' purchasing power. At the same time, the Sales Tax Incentive on Luxury Goods (PPnBM) PPnBM significantly affects the purchasing power of motor vehicle consumers.]]>

<![CDATA[This research analyzes the decision of the Sumber Religious Court of Cirebon Regency in the procedure for executing the confiscation of sharia mortgage rights in the murabahah case Number 2008/Pdt.G/2020/PA.Sbr. This research pays attention to the role and actions of religious courts in handling execution cases, assessing debt collateral, and protecting the rights of debtors and creditors in sharia economic cases. The author uses a qualitative method with a normative approach. The analyzes primary data such as the judge's decision and related documents and analyzes secondary data as a source of information which includes literature study. This execution process involves the State Property and Auction Services Office and may face challenges from debtors or third parties. The case study of case Number 2008/Pdt.G/2020/PA.Sbr shows that the execution mechanism for the auction of mortgage rights was carried out outside the Sumber Religious Court, Cirebon Regency, without a court execution order. The judge considers it according to the applicable legal basis. As a result, the Plaintiff's lawsuit was rejected because of the implementation of the auction by Bank BRI Syariah.Tbk Cirebon Branch Office was deemed to be in accordance with the law. Default by the Customer is the main reason for this decision.]]>
