Abstract

As the population of an area increases, it will be in line with infrastructure development in order to fulfill facilities for the community which will cause the need for land to also increase, while the limited nature of the land results in the change of land functions or changes in land use. This article aims to examine land use changes and patterns of land use changes in Baki District as well as factors that influence land use changes, namely population growth, accessibility and interaction of areas bordering Baki District. This study uses a qualitative type of research that uses a spatial approach with descriptive analysis of the results of overlaying land use maps and factors of land use change. Data collection in this study was carried out through secondary data analysis. image interpretation, field observations and interviews. The results of this study indicate that there has been a change in the area of several types of land use, namely rice fields decreased by 101.36 hectares, while other land uses including settlements increased by 91.07 hectares, buildings increased by 6.39 hectares, and open land increased. area of 4.18 hectares.

Abstract

The situation and condition of the universe has a great influence on individual attitudes and environmental changes. Failure to create environmental friendliness can be seen from unstable natural conditions such as floods, earthquakes, landslides. This change is caused by a lack of awareness, low environmental care from individuals, and the surrounding community. The purpose of this study is to provide students with an understanding of the causes of natural disasters, how to respond appropriately so as not to harm the community when natural disasters occur as part of preventive measures through the provision of information services. This research uses qualitative-descriptive method. Interview data collection techniques and documentation. the main informants consisted of 4 5th semester students and 2 BKPI lecturers supporting informants. The research results obtained from interviews with BKPI students in semester 5 include their self-understanding of natural disaster situations that have not been able to be handled properly. This cause becomes a joint evaluation of the community, students, and the local government to prioritize the provision of disaster preparedness information services. Information services have an important role in increasing knowledge and self-understanding for each individual to respond to disaster situations with stable emotional conditions, minimizing anxiety levels and being able to adapt well to adaptation in the post-disaster environment.

The data analysis technique used in this study was descriptive qualitative. The results of this study are (1) The level of landslide susceptibility in the Jatiyoso District into three classes of landslide susceptibility: low, medium, and high. (2) There are two levels of community resilience to landslides, namely, a moderate level of resilience (55.56% from Jatiyoso District) and high resilience level (44.44% from Jatiyoso District). (3) The direction of disaster mitigation consists of zone II (moderate vulnerability), the need for restrictions on settlements, evaluation of the suitability of agricultural land, and the need for evaluation paths to refugee places, and zone III (high vulnerability) there needs to be a prohibition on development and this area should be specially used for conservation.

Abstract

Semarang City as the Capital of Central Java Province requires an earthquake-prone map. It is required since there are two active faults in Semarang, namely the Semarang fault (part of the Baribis - Kendeng fault) and the Ungaran fault. Moreover, Semarang City is composed of alluvial layers that can accelerate earthquake waves. This study aims to determine site class, peak ground acceleration (PGA) in bedrock, PGA at ground level and earthquake hazard index in Semarang City. In this study, the calculation of peak ground acceleration uses the method in SNI 1726: 2019, while the earthquake hazard index refers to the JICA classification. As input data in the form of the peak ground acceleration value in bedrock, the average shear wave velocity to a depth of 30 meters (Vs30) to determine the site class, as well as the value of the amplification factor. The calculation results in almost all areas of Semarang City have a high earthquake hazard index and only Genuk sub-district has a moderate hazard index. The main determinants of peak ground acceleration at the surface are the source of the earthquake and the rock type
