<![CDATA[This study is a quantitative study that aims to empirically examine the influence of religion on sexual behavior, the effect of self-control on sexual behavior, and the influence of religiosity and self-control simultaneously on sexual behavior. The hypotheses proposed in this study are: first; there is an influence of religion on sexual behavior. Second; there is an effect of self-control on sexual behavior. Third; there is the influence of religiosity and self-control simultaneously on sexual behavior. The population of this study was all students of Madrasah Aliyah Manahijul Huda Ngagel, Dukuhseti District, Pati Regency, amounting to 305 students. Sampling was done by using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. Researchers took a sample of one class at random from each class spread over 3 classes, namely class X, class XI, and class XII. The results showed that there was a simultaneous influence of religiosity and self-control with the sexual behavior of the students of Madrasah Aliyah Manahijul Huda Ngagel Dukuhseti. This can be seen from the results of the F test calculation which shows a value of 19,083 with a probability level of 0.000 which is below an alpha of 0.005. Variables of religiosity and self-control were able to explain the sexual behavior variables of Madrasah Aliyah Manahijul Huda students by 50.8%, while the remaining 49.2% explained other variables not included in this model (not studied).]]>

<![CDATA[In general, when looking at the problems faced by humans, especially in facing the existence of life and efforts to achieve prosperity in this world and in the hereafter, the truth becomes an urgent thing to do. Even though in essence the truth that humans do is basically not absolute but relative in nature because indeed the human mind will not be able to obtain absolute truth, in this case the essential and absolute truth belongs only to Allah. The truth can be obtained in detail and depth based on research processes and scientific logical reasoning. The truth of science can be accepted as long as there are no facts that deny its truth. In uncovering the problem of Truth in the perspective of Islamic Philosophy and Education, qualitative research was carried out. The research was carried out using library research which is a theoretical study, references and other scientific literature related to the culture, values and norms that develop in the social situation under study.]]>

<![CDATA[The mental revolution is President Joko Widodo's statement to make Indonesian people have good character and live in security and peace. Al-Qur'an as a book of instructions and a source of knowledge explains the process of mental revolution. The mental revolution in the Qur'an is carried out by combining the potential that exists in humans, namely intellectual, emotional and spiritual potential. In QS Ali Imron verses 190-191 a human being who can combine these three potentials is called "ulul albab". Thus, how the process of mental revolution through the Al-Qur'an approach is discussed in this writing.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the pattern of Shaykh Mas'ud's thoughts about fiqh in the Masailu Syatta book and the implications of these fiqh thoughts for the development of the scientific tradition of Islamic boarding schools and the treasures of Indonesian fiqh. The theoretical framework used in this study is the theory of discourse analysis in which there are three dimensions or stages in the process of analyzing reality, namely text, discourse practice, and social practice (socio-cultural practice). This study uses qualitative research methods with social history and ushul fiqh approaches. The data source used is the primary data source, namely the book Masailu Syatta by Shaykh Mas'ud and secondary data sources in the form of observations, interviews and documentation. Data analysis through descriptive-analytical, content analysis and historical methods. The findings of this study indicate that Syaikh Mas'ud's fiqh thinking has a school style that places more emphasis on the Shafi'i school. The method used can be seen from two aspects: first, his attention and sincerity in collecting as much fiqh literature as possible, especially in the Shafi'i school and second, a careful analysis of previous opinions by applying the maqashid syari'ah concept. His thoughts not only had a positive effect as a manifestation of the Islamic scientific tradition for Islamic boarding schools but also influenced the development of Shafi'i fiqh in the archipelago.]]>

<![CDATA[Arabic is always interesting to discuss as an object. This is none other than because the Al-Quran and Hadith came down in Arabic, and also because the Prophet Muhammad was an Arab who was fluent in Arabic (afshahul lisan) and had many poems and stories in Arabic. Over time, the study of Arabic has expanded and become a separate scientific discipline that is separate from its main science. Interestingly, many are often stuck with terms in Arabic science because of the mixture that is almost impossible to distinguish, for example between fiqh al-lughah (often called philology) and al-lughah science (linguistics). The purpose of this research is to explain fiqh al-lughah in Arabic, which is different from the science of al-lughah. starting from the definition, development, method, and object of study. This research is qualitative with a library research approach and uses descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that fiqh al-lughah belongs to the realm of knowledge (ma'rifah) and is not a science such as nahw or balaghah. There are important points related to the study of fiqh al-lughah that are different from other linguistics; maybe even fiqh al-lughah only exists in Arabic. This has an impact on the development of studies related to Arabic, especially the Koran and hadith, which causes a variety of interpretations to emerge.]]>

<![CDATA[Hermeneutics as a new approach in the world of interpretation has received various responses from Muslims. However, hemeneutics is still considered not well-established enough to be used as an approach to the interpretation of the Koran because it was not originally intended for the Koran. In addition, the Koran cannot be equated with other textswhich are the result of human hands while the Koran comes from Allah SWT, according to Islamic beliefs. This paper will review the epistemology of hermeneutics by looking at the views of its figures such as Friedrich Schleiermacher, Wilhelm Dilthey, Martin Heiddegger, Paul Ricoeur, Hans-Georg Gadamer. The research method used is library research. It was found that the use of hermeneutics as an approach in interpreting the Qur'an, was responded in three forms, namely groups that support, groups that reject and groups that do not fully support nor completely reject.]]>

<![CDATA[Asy'ariyah is a theology founded by Abu Hasan Al-Asy'ari. This theology is often referred to as "Moderate Theology". He is an important figure who has a great influence nowadays. This study uses a Literature Study Methods, aiming to explain and elaborate how the history of the birth of Asy'ariyah and his thoughts, especially about Kasb and about reason and revelation. This theological formulation was utilizing textual arguments in the form of sacred texts from the Qur'an and Sunnah, such as what muhadditsin did, and also using rational arguments in the form of mantiq and logic. This approach was quite unique, he had been able to take the good things from Salafiyyah-textual approach but not as strict as Hanabilah did in their rejection of logical arguments and in the form of combination of logical-contextual approach but not as free as what Mu'tazilah did. The Asy'ariyah's theological attitude towards contemporary life is open, realistic, pragmatic, (selective, critical, and accommodating and responsive) to advances in science and technology. In sum, by looking the trajectory and how strong the foundation of Asy’ariyah paradigm is, it has been manifested in the form of Its relevance and how it maintains Ahl Al-Sunnah wa Al-Jama'ah in contemporary life.]]>

<![CDATA[Since before Islam arrived in Arab landsl until now it has spread throughout the world, gender injustice still occurs, men often marginalize women, especially in terms of leadership. Amina Wadud Muhsin feels a patriarchal feeling from the phenomenon of Muslim society that occurs. Amina resolved that the problem was contrary to the message of the Koran which brings justice to all mankind regardless of gender. This assumption stems from his concern that interpretations are carried out by men without the participation and views of women, eventually leading to interpretations that are detrimental to women. From this concern then mad e Amina Wadud fight for women's rights through the feminist movement she was carrying. The research method used is qualitative with sources to the recognition of libraries taken from books, journals and other scientific works. The form of research is character research by studying the thoughts of feminist figures Amina Wadud Muhsin and their influence on Western Muslim society. The results of this study then found that Amina Wadud's breakthrough feminist thinking influenced the thoughts of Muslim women in Western countries. This can be seen from the change in their mindset which no longer wants to just follow or be controlled by men. Feminism fighters carried out many reforms such as the emergence of Lady Imam which was pioneered by Amina Wadud with mixed congregations of men and women on the grounds that women can also be leaders like men (gender equality), they believe that that is the message of justice brought down by al -Quran. Western Muslim women began to lead prayer/worship rituals which were generally carried out by men. ]]>

<![CDATA[The qualitative method is the method used in this study and is based on the result of direct observation and interviews. The main speakers are Syarkawi and Sya'rawi who are the next manuscript holder (son of Hj. Mul Azam). This research is also based on scientific research books and journals. Codcological and Philology studies are the approach used in this study. The physical condition of the manuscript is still fairly good. This study also revealed the aspects of Qira'at which was found that this manuscript uses Qira'at Imam 'Ashim and Ibn Kathir. The aspect of RASM's writing, it was found that Hj. Rippun's manuscript in Pambusuang followed the rules of Utsmani rasm writing compiled by Imam as-Suyuthi in the book of Al-Itqan Fi Ulum Al- Qur'an. Regarding the results of this manuscript study was taken from the history that was told directly from the descendants of the author so that this manuscript had no concrete evidence of the truth.. Looking at the other side, in this manuscript there are various illuminations, waqaf signs, juz and other symbols and regarding separators between verses no verse number is found so that it makes it a little difficult to determine the verse.]]>

<![CDATA[So far, the interpretation of the Qur'an with an educational approach (tafsīr tarbawī) has not given much attention, even though it is believed that the vital element in the revelation of the Qur'an is education itself. In this article the author attempts to find educational (pedagogical) messages contained in the verses of the Qur'an which discuss the command to prostrate to Adam. This study is important because so far the verses related to this theme have often been associated with theological, Sufistic and political messages (the ideal model of government). While attention to its pedagogical content is still lacking. This study can also be referred to as the thematic interpretation study (tafsīr maudhūi) because the author reviews the content of the verses of the Qur'an based on a particular theme, by following the steps of the thematic method in interpretation. With an educational approach (tarbawī) to the interpretation of these verses, the author finds psychological and ethical messages contained therein. Psychologically, Adam and the Devil as a symbolism of two inherently opposing natures in humans. Therefore, the bad qualities (Satan) must be subordinated to the good qualities (Adam). Meanwhile, ethically, humans can achieve happiness if they are able to subdue the following four bad characters: (1). Being arrogant, (2). Feeling more noble, (3). Kufr against favors and (4). Hasad.]]>
