Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the learning model of the Teams Games Turnament (TGT) for Islamic Religious Education in improving the learning achievement of the fifth grade studens of public elementary school 2 Mangun Jaya Sirah Pulau Padang. The Teams Games Turnament learning model aims to describethe problem faced such as how the application of the Teams Games Turnament learning of islamic Religious Education in improving student learning achievement in grade v, what are the inhibiting and supporting factros for the application of the learning model type Teams Games Turnament islamic Religious education in improving student learning achievement class v, how are you the learning achievement model for class v students. Teams Games Turnament. Is an alternative to overcome learning problems that have been considered ineffective, such as lack of otimal communication between students, low understanding of students’ concepts, students are bored with monotonous learning models so that students tend to be more passive in class. The type of research is qualitative and the data used is primary data in the from of data collected by students and secondary data is data from refence books that complement wxisting document. That data collection method used in this research is observation, interview and documentation. The results of this study indicate that there is a learning model of the Teams Games Turnament of islamic religious education in improving the learning achievement of grade v students of public elementary school 2 Mangun Jaya Sirah Pulau Padang.

Abstract

This article attempts to examine how to analyze the validity of the assessment instrument. In fact, not all teachers are able to make the correct instruments. Many teachers only take instruments from other schools to be used as a tool in measuring their students, even though the same instrument is not necessarily a measuring instrument with different objects. This habit needs to be improved. The teacher should be able to make their own instruments, because the teacher knows best about the differences in the abilities of each student. When the teacher uses instruments from other schools, where there are parts that the teacher has not conveyed in class, the students themselves are the losers. In making an assessment instrument the teacher must pay attention to two characteristics. Namely validity and reliability. Validity itself is divided into content validity, construct validity, and eksternal validity. Each validity has its own characteristics.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the problems in the personality development of teachers at SD Muhammadiyah Bendo Kalibawang Kulon Progo. The approach used is a descriptive qualitative approach. The focus of this research is the problems faced by teachers in the development of personality competencies in schools. The subjects of this study were principals and teachers at SD Muhammadiyah Bendo Kalibawang Kulon Progo. Methods in data collection using documentation and interviews with principals and teachers at SD Muhammadiyah Bendo Kalibawang Kulon Progo. Documentation techniques are used to find data on matters in the form of transcripts, notes, newspapers, books, meeting minutes, and others. Meanwhile, interviews were conducted to explore verbal or qualitative data obtained from key informant sources. The results showed that the problems faced by teachers in personality development at SD Muhammadiyah Bendo Kalibawang Kulon Progo are because they are still carried by their personalities from birth. In addition, lack of confidence in expressing opinions, lack of time discipline, lack of appreciation for student work, and difficulty separating problems at home and school are also problems in teacher personality development. Based on this research, it can be concluded that the problematic personality development of teachers at SD Muhammadiyah Bendo Kalibawang can be improved by evaluation and coaching so that the personality competence of teachers who are responsible, authoritative, mature, stable and others can be obtained.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the existence of religious activities at MTs Nurul Iman. Whether with religious activities at school, students are accustomed to carrying it out in everyday life. As for religious activities that exist in the community, namely congregational prayer, general recitation, yasinan, zakat, commemoration of Islamic holidays and so on. Religious activities and religious practices organized by an institution and followed on a regular basis can create habituation to proper Islamic behavior according to Islamic teachings. This research method is quantitative with 32 students as respondents. The sample was taken using proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Independent variable: intensity of participating in religious activities, dependent variable: Islamic behavior of students. Sources of data from respondents and documents. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used the validity test, the Pearson correlation coefficient. The results showed that (1) There was a positive and significant influence between the intensity of participating in religious activities on Islamic behavior of students, the results of the analysis of the calculated analysis. Based on the research, it was found that the correlation index number was 0.870. Then this figure is interpreted using the rtabel value table, it turns out that rxy is greater than rtable, both at the 5% significance level and at the 1% significance level. (2) The supporting factors for Islamic religious teachers in implementing the formation of student behavior at MTs Nurul Iman Modong are located In a good environment, there are strict rules and sanctions, the existence of Citizenship Education subjects, and there is support from Islamic Education teachers who insert values ​​of behavior at every opportunity. While the inhibiting factors are the lack of attention from parents of students and the lack of intensity in participating in religious activities, the attention and discipline of teachers in schools, thus hampered in the formation of student behavior.

Abstract

Looking at the historical flow of Islamic development in Indonesia as such, the author took an analysis that the future prospects of Islam in Indonesia have a great opportunity to continue to develop, be it in the fields of politics, economics, education, social, and culture. This can be seen from the history of Islam in Indonesia that continues to develop until now, this is the early stage of the emergence of awareness of the Indonesian nation of the importance of planting religious values in Indonesian society so that the Indonesian nation can meet the future not only with science and technology but also in the balance by IMTAQ. The era of globalization in the 21st century that has begun at this time, Islam in Indonesia has apparently exerted a huge influence on the advancement of Islam in the world. Although the existence of Islam today is really faced with a fairly severe challenge that requires the involvement of various parties concerned. With regard to this, strategic efforts need to be made, among others: by providing knowledge, skills, and piety in all fields (religious, political, economic, social, cultural, educational) so as to give birth to creative, innovative, independent and productive people considering the world to come is a competitive world.

Abstract

The occurrence of the Covid-19pandemic around the world has resulted in changes in various lives, including in the field of education. The government policy requiring studying from home, working from home and praying at home in the first week felt very sudden. And make the confusion of parents and teachers compounded by the lack of preparation for distance learning. As learning materials at home, assignments from student books are given. During this pandemic, more children will be at home, this is an effort made to break the chain of the spread of Covid, which has not yet subsided, even continues to grow. For the effectiveness of learning at this time the role of parents is very important, because the responsibility for education that is usually held by teachers while in school now completely shifts to both parents. Parents must accompany their children more in learning, be more attentive during learning, because when children are given freedom during unsupervised learning, not a few children take the opportunity to play online games, surf in cyberspace such as playing Facebook, Instagram, and other interesting applications, because in the learning process children are facilitated with cellphones plus a quota package that makes it easy to access whatever they want. For this reason, supervision and cooperation between parents and teachers is needed in continuing children's education.

Abstract

In the Sufism tradition, to get closer to Allah there are several spiritual paths that can be taken, such as with mahabbah, khauf and so on. In the 9th century H, there was a Sufi who had very controversial views and was even considered heretical by people who were not in line with his thoughts, until at its peak a Sufi was sentenced to death, a Sufi known as al-Hallaj. This study aims to determine the life history of al-Hallaj and the thoughts that are considered controversial. The method used is qualitative and is library research using a historical approach. The results obtained are two things of al-Hallaj's thoughts which are considered very controversial, namely al-hulul and wihdat ash-syuhud, the Hulul that happened to an al-Hallaj is not real and is figurative. In other words, what happens is a spiritual awareness (inner emotion) in a mortal condition.

Abstract

This paper aims to find out how the reconstruction of al-Ghazali's educational thinking in contemporary Islamic education. The benefit is that the government and educators can use al-Ghazali's educational thinking as an inspiration in upholding quality Indonesian education. The result of this paper is that the building of al-Ghazali's educational thought is religious-ethical. Al-Ghazali's educational goals cover three aspects, namely cognitive aspects, affective aspects, and psychomotor aspects. In addition, it places two important things as educational orientations, namely achieving human perfection to qualitatively draw closer to Allah SWT; and achieve human perfection to achieve happiness in this world and the hereafter. An educator is a person who masters a discipline and is able to practice it as well as a human figure who totally concentrates on the field of education. Students are placed as objects as well as subjects and set ten ideal criteria that must be pursued by students in order to succeed in education. Al-Ghazali mentions four categories of classification of science, namely; classification of syar'iyah science (religion) and 'aqliyah (reason); theoretical and practical science; knowledge presented (hudhûri) and acquired (hushli); Science fardhu 'ain and fard kifâyah. Al-Ghazali's teaching method emphasizes that teachers who provide knowledge are required to use exemplary methods and dialogue in the learning process. Thomas Lickona states that the notion of character education is a deliberate effort to help a person so that he can understand, pay attention to, and practice core ethical values. And more broadly he said that character education is a deliberate (conscious) effort to realize virtue, namely objectively good human qualities, not only good for individuals, but also good for society as a whole.79 Thomas Lickona also defines character education as an effort deliberately from all dimensions of social life to help shape character optimally.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the concept of educative interaction & the definition of learning groups in education and the importance of this method used in education & teaching. The method in this study emphasizes the type of library research obtained from books related to the definition of educational interaction, group learning, its characteristics and urgency in education & teaching. Data analysis used the analytical technique proposed by Miles and Huberman with the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing (verification). The results of the study show that educational interaction is said to be successful in learning if an educator is able to understand the characteristics of students. Failure to create a conducive educative interaction begins with the emergence of the educator's lack of understanding of the characteristics of students. Furthermore, in each teaching, the teacher should try to create a social atmosphere that evokes cooperation among students in receiving lessons so that teaching is carried out more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are original Indonesian educational institutions that have strong traditional roots in the community. In the era of modernization or the advancement of science and technology today, the pesantren education system is a question for many parties to maintain. This research was conducted to answer these doubts by raising some of Azyumardi Azra's thoughts on how to modernize pesantren and their relevance to the pesantren education system. The purpose of this study was to determine the modernization of Islamic boarding school education according to Azyumardi Azra. The use of this research is to increase the scientific treasures in the dimensions of Islamic education, to become the latest discourse in science in order to create a better education, as well as to be a solution to Islamic boarding school education in dealing with contemporary problems that are the biggest challenges for Muslim communities on the verge of and at the beginning of the millennium. new. The research that the author is doing is included in library research or library research using a qualitative descriptive approach to critical analysis. And so that the research results run well, then in data collection, the authors use the documentation method. Meanwhile, to analyze it, the author uses content analysis techniques. That is in the form of written data. Thus, the discussion in this thesis is based on a literature review of Azyumardi Azra's work. This is used to find out Azyumardi Azra's thoughts on the modernization of Islamic boarding school education. From the results of the analysis, the authors can conclude. In recent developments with the establishment of educational institutions by the Dutch colonial (modern) Islamic educational institutions (pesantren) are increasingly receding in existence and are reluctant to accept "new" things. departing from this phenomenon, Azyumardi Azra, modernizing Islamic boarding school education is carrying out changes or transformations from the traditional system to a modern system. As for the modernization of Islamic education in Indonesia, especially Islamic boarding schools, he updated the substance or content of Islamic boarding school education by incorporating general and vocational subjects, methodological updates, such as the system classical and grading, institutional reform, such as the leadership of pesantren, diversification of educational institutions, and renewal of functions, from educational functions to include socio-economic functions. Looking at the current education applied by education experts, that For Azyumardi Azra, the idea of ​​modernizing Islamic education is not only a discourse, but must also become a reality and be put into practice. ideas and reality must be built together because in this way the benefits of an idea can be felt, therefore the idea of ​​modernizing pesantren according to Azyumardi Azra is very relevant to the education being carried out at this time, namely they both want to make students study in pesantren then become more diversified and they are prepared to become prospective scientists, in addition to becoming future ulama through a special aliyah program.
